This is average with Big 5 stores. Corona and Orange on Tustin the staffs are very helpful.

3 stars not because of the employees, great customer service. Plenty of parking. Slightly smaller store than other locations. Maximum use of floor space with product displays. At checkout, Melissa was very pleasant to converse with and welcomed customers as they entered.For Current COVID-19 store policy signage...those who are fully vaxxed dont need to to wear masks, non-vaxxed are to wear masks. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Your choice.

I learn how to rollerblade when I was 7yrs old but have not done so in more than 20yrs. Since pandemic started I was laid off and in quarantine for months, and eating good food! I needed something to keep me active and I visited my nearest location to look for rollerblades for my surprise they had a very good selection a bit pricey but I just knew I WANTED a pair ASAP lol staff was nice, store was clean, and I got exactly what I needed!

Everybody was helpful on the floor even though it was the last 45 minutes of their shift they were helpful with our coupons and patient as we all purchased what we came there for and they had a line behind us as well I would go back to this big five every time if they have what Im looking for

The Staff are very kind and friendly. One employee tried to find my requested goods with a very polite attitude and smiling. However, there was only One cashier so I had to wait a pretty long time. One customer got something troublesome, this is why it took time to figure out. During that time, other customers had to wait.

Store is always clean and the staff is nice. The deals can be hard to pass sometimes but most of the stuff is quality brands so I hardly ever get buyers remorse.

Hubby didnt find the shoes he want and no Penn blue racquetballs....but I found so sandals.

Store is open to 33 max person allowed in the store. Is well organized. Some good offers. I will recommend this store.

This is a store that I always forget that we have, & what a great store this one is. They have so much its hard to look at everything. But if you need it, Big 5 has it.

A little bit pricey but good store

Went to Big5 to see if i can take the FSC test. Got turned down, and was told that I cant take it and its only by appointment. Tried to make an appointment, would not let me make an appointment in person. Went to turners isntead. one day ez. Big5 sucks.

Value sporting goods. They have only what you need. Works every time. Friendly staffs and good value.

Excellent Customer Service. 😁 All Employees were extremely polite to me. I was coming out of work and needed some replacement steel toe boots. The Asian Dude went Above and beyond to help me find what I needed. Highly recommend this location 😎👍

This particular store is good with prices and its service is always great.However, yesterday I went and bought some things there.And I truly hate when our stuff gets rung up at a different price than whats advertised on the rack.Hence,I was charged more for an item but didnt realize it till after I got home.Tried to look it up online and those prices are different than even the sticker price.🤷🏽‍♂️

Lots of workers asking to help you on the floor, over and over. Not a big variety in sizes on shirts, pants, shoes, boots, jackets or even gloves. Once we got to the register we were quized on what coupons we were using??? They did not know what items were in sale in this big sale either, acted as if we were making up pricing, one item had an employee hold payday slip on it which said it expired 2 days ago, but the gal ringing us up said thats not what it meant, it was her item and took it, also the store was a bit warm.... So be sure to get in and out, its not mask shopper friendly. Talked with a manager and just got a sorry... dont think I will go back to this store.

There was this rascist white lady just watching me and my family the whole time and when we walked out she was still there just looking at us. Never shopping here again

This place seems over stocked on anything and everything or they are in a smaller building, their one day deals are a must to take advantage of. I think.

Big 5 Sporting Goods store is a very nice Sporting Goods. They always seem to have what were looking for when we go there. And all the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Theyre able to help us get the proper Sporting Goods equipment for us.

Ammos are little $$ more but way better than waiting 2 hours in line just to know your ammo is out of stock

Smaller Big 5, but they had a decent selection and the products that I needed. Prices need to be more clearly labeled. Many of the products have no prices so I could not make a comparison on costs. Prices for butane fuel were double Walmarts. I would not have purchased three cans had I known that. To the management of Big 5: please mark your prices clearly! Im not coming back to your particular store because of this.

Friendly, most of the time they have what I need, and kind of a gem. Support our local sporting goods stores! Ive been to this Big 5, about 6 times in the last couple months. Fishing gear, hiking boots for the fam, more fishing gear, a knife. Good place. Also pretty good deals even ones that arent in the ad.

Maggie was very helpful. She was easy to talk to and helped in making the best decision.

Everything is cheap and easy to get. If you need a nice pair of shoes or any outdoor recreation equipment Big 5 is a place to go.

The old lady who always has an attitude has horrible customer service. I came in and asked the guy at the register, who was very nice and helpful, if they sold adventure passes. She interrupted his reply with I dont know where you plan on going, everything is closed in a very snarky manner. First off I never asked her. Second their job is to sell me a product not interrogate me on my plans or where and when Im going. I ignored her and finished the transaction with the cashier and about to walk out the door and she walks back up to the cashier and I with a hole punch in her hand and insists that they have to hole punch it. Now out of all the adventure passes Ive purchased, I have purchased many, this was never something Ive heard of. Even so I said oh the year? Ya thats fine she replied no the month too. I told her I was not using it this month. Im using next month or the month after. Im a wildlife photographer and I go out depending on conditions. I dont know exactly when Ill be going out yet. Id like to to use it for an entire year because thats what Im paying for. She told me they have to stamp it. So I just said never mind I dont want it and got a refund. From the second I walked in she had an attitude when I wasnt even talking to her in the first place. You guys need to get rid of this grumpy lady. She doesnt belong in customer service.

Sporting stores are closing faster than ever before. Ive been shopping at Big 5 Sporting goods stores since I was a kid, MANY years ago. From my high school days to now into my 40s, when I see the Big 5, I know Im shopping at the right place. This location is great, close to home AND the staff is very friendly. Most of all, they are all ready to help find that one item that is sitting right in front of your nose but you cant seem to be able to spot. This store has been my go to spot for the last five years.

Absolutely great staff. Very knowledgeable and willing to help you out. The store is also military friendly so let them know if youre active duty or reserve when you get to the register.

Helpful staff -- most are knowledgeable, some not so much. The value for the price is excellent. Good selection of goods. Most shoes are last years to two years ago models. We purchase most of our sporting goods here. We purchase elite level equipment elsewhere.

Worst guest help ever. Guy and a girl standing at the registers doing nothing. Nobody buying anything. Asked the guy about an ad that just came out instead of helping himself he calls out to another guy who was busy helping a gentleman. Told him what I was looking for him to point out on the wall ( oh! over there) and walked away and never came back to ask if I found what I was looking for. Not 1 pair of shoes were hanging straight on the wall, off the hanger, wrong size on wrong shoes. Then I walked around since I was there needing shoes and found the shoes I had first asked for in 2 other displays, which the sales guys didnt bother to help me with. Walked out very disappointed. Wont go to that Big 5 at Knott and Lincoln.

Great selection of ammo, not so much with the guns. but I guess you win some, you lose some.

They havealmosteverything, if they have your size. Another good thing is there are so many of them. When I cant find my size in one store, they will help me find and hold on another store. Definitely the go to place for sporting needs in southern California.

Quick in and out to buy golf cleats. The cashier said they didnt sell them, but when I asked if she was sure she called someone who showed me where they were and helped me choose which ones to buy. Nice people working there :)

Called in asking for their shoe on sale from the email. I think it was Genji who picked up the called I ask them if they had their shoe in side 14. He went to check but he said sorry we dont. Instead of just hanging up the phone. He said we do have a better shoe for just a few bucks more. I was sold went to pick then up today. what a great employee.

Very close and convenient dor my family and i. They carry a variety of sports stuff. I last came here to buy my daughter a hand ball and gloves for my husband. The employees here are very nice and helpful when im looking for something specific.

You can always count on Big 5 for a good deal on shoes and cleats! Has a large variety of sports equipment. Enough to cover most sports. I come here specifically for Easton baseball cleats. They have really good sales every now and then where you save some cash. There are some items that are over priced but over all a good place to shop sports.

A good option for buying camping and winter equipment. Employees not so helpful as I expect but in general is a good store with decent prices

The place is kind of a mess, but theyve got a pretty good assortment of various sporting things needed. I started swimming at the gym recently and needed a swim cap, some goggles, and ear plugs. They had these things available to me and it was convenient that I didnt have to wait for Amazon to deliver them; especially since were in the middle of Winter and finding swimming accessories isnt the easiest thing.

Its good to wait for the special sale day otherwise the price is we quite high compare to other store with similar products.

Not comfortable buying here, no customer service skills, nor anyone available to ask. Walked in w/ my boyfriend no one ever offer any assistance. We were looking for tennis shoes, for him, camping & baseball equip. They see you but never greet you, not goid 4 their business. My neighbors experienced the same thing. No one to ask for specific size..walked out will never come back!

Helped me with returning a broken item for store credit, THEN helped to find the best replacement for said item, GREAT STORE

The staff doesnt really know much about sports so they werent very helpful when we asked about certain items we were looking for. They just focus on loss prevention, kept following us around the store but when asked a question they never had an answer.
