Colleen and her staff were amazing to us. Open a little later than some other restaurants in town, we stopped in for a late dinner on a whim and ended up coming back each night of our stay. Even when they were busy, they made space for us and were wonderful and fun. The atmosphere of the place is amazing with so many nice small touches, and the food and drink stands out especially for the price. We will be back next time we are in Maine!

What a gem in Bucksport, Maine. My wife and I love to find wine tasting experiences in our travels. We started with a few tasting, followed by dessert. Our wonderful server then suggested the full glasse of wine, the Bacon Swiss Dip and Grilled Chicken Skewers. Awesome presentation and flavor. Tasting turned to two plus hours and dinner.This place has it all…..food, drink, atmosphere, and a terrific staff.

I’ll start with the positives, the atmosphere in the courtyard was great, live music and all. The food was pretty good but a bit overpriced. But the wait staff was rude to us, and the pizza we ordered came forty minutes after the rest of our food without any acknowledgement at all, not even a ‘sorry for the wait’. And people who ordered after us were served before we got our food. All in all, I would not go back.

Such a lovely place. The patio is welcoming and the staff super friendly. Saw a jazz band that was wonderful to listen to.

Verona Wine and Design is the place to go when visiting Bucksport, Maine. This restaurant has cozy inside seating, or you can dine outside in a pleasant courtyard with a festive atmosphere. I had the Verona Grilled Cheese (Fontina & Regato cheeses, tomato, and bacon on ciabatta bread), I added the Soup of the day that came with crostini, and was oh, so yummy! My husband had the Goat cheese pizza - Flatbread with goat cheese, sundried tomatoes, green olives, oregano, and Parmesan. He said it was good and he would order it again.  The owners greeted us with a smile and were so welcoming! I definitely recommend this restaurant that is tucked away in a walk-up entrance at 77 Main Street, Suite 1a.

This may have been my favorite restaurant experience ever! The cozy courtyard outdoor seating is beautifully decorated to be reminiscent of Italy, and the live music made for a fun atmosphere. It was the unexpected highlight of my Maine coast road trip.

Had a great impromptu date night here while visiting the area. The staff was warm and inviting and paid attention to the little details. It was a little chilly out and they noticed I grabbed a jacket so they turned on the cute little firepits near our seat. The food was perfect for noshing while enjoying good company and good wine.

We sat on the patio for wine and tapas and it was wonderful! There were several heaters and fire pits so it was warm even in the cool evening! The waitstaff and owners were so warm and welcoming! The wine and food were delicious! (I personally loved the Merlot and the tomato feta dip! 👍🏻) We loved it and can’t wait to go back!

Excellent food, (even gluten free) and great atmosphere. You can choose to sit inside or outside in a great little courtyard. They have live music every week during the summer, and the courtyard is lit with small lights and its so festive! Yummy wines too!!

The bacon and Swiss dip is to die for! Wait staff is very friendly and attentive. They also have romantically lit outdoor seating with heaters for those chilly nights. This has become my favorite local restaurant.

Small, cozy dining area. We ended up having a fun conversation with the couple beside who turned out to be musicians who play at Verona wine and design also! Cant wait to hear them in the summer. Warm and friendly staff, delicious food, good beer and wine selection.

I had just about the best dining experience imaginable. The staff was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the food was exceptional. I had the best chowder of my life, and will surely be back to try more of the menu.

This is a GREAT, Fun place for a simple glass of Wine and perhaps some cheese; a lite lunch or dinner; as well as to enjoy a lovely Wine Pairing Dinner (held monthly). The folks are friendly, knowledgeable, attentive; many of the wines are unfamiliar to some but a great way to expand ones palate and the outside courtyard is a true Hidden Jewel. Bucksport is a small mid-coast Maine town that is in the beginning stages of a revival. Lovely harbor walk, weekly farmers market, lovely views of the Narrows Bridge & Fort Knox. Worth a visit!

Get the mussels appetizer for starters! They are the biggest Ive ever had and cooked in a delicious white wine sauce before they are sprinkled with fresh basil. The local beer selection is intimate, but well thought out. If the weather is good, sit outside in their garden style patio for the complete experience. Everytime I visit Family in Bucksport, this is one of my culinary destinations.

Great spot to enjoy a chat and wine with friends. The outdoor seating is beautiful, with a cozy fireplace. They have tons of delicious wine options, as well as beer. The small plates are also tasty. The owners are very friendly and accommodating.

Wonderful place! We were looking for a good place to eat as we traveled north with our 2 boys (7 years and 17 mos) and landed here for a wonderful pizza, grilled cheese sandwich, and a panini! Excellent service, outdoor seating, and great food!!

A hidden little nook off of main street, just the sort of place to hide away from life for a bit. A lovely little wine shop front opens to an indoor dining room and then the Pearl, the courtyard dining area. Perfect little outdoor patio area with crackling braziers to while away the evening over wine and tapas. The Ducktrap smoked board was nice, as well as the baked brie, escargot style scampi, Thai chicken satays, and the Meyer Lemon cake. Just the sort of place to spend a late summer evening.

What a great place to dine! Wonderful tapas menu, great service. I cant believe it took us this long to find. Look forward to dining outside when the weather permits.

Very tasty food and cozy ambience, especially out on the patio when the weather is warm enought. The hosts couldnt be more gracious and welcoming! They even provide blankets to add to the comfort provided by the outdoor fireplace and heaters.
