In terms of the dealerships in College Station, the team of people here are top tier. As soon as I stepped out of my car the manager was at the door to greet me and get me connected with a sales person. While waiting for the sales person, every person that passed how I was doing and if they could get me something to drink. From test driving multiple vehicles to getting the car and driving it off the lot, it was a seamless process. What I appreciated most was how the sales people here did not try to pressure me into anything and were flexible on getting the price down to my optimal point.

I will start by saying that I had a bad experience with Volkswagen a while ago in another state and decided then not to get one of their vehicles. I however did change my mind years later. I was very nervous to go into the dealership here in college station due to not purchasing the car in house. The moment I walked in I was greeted by Nancy. She was so welcoming and made me feel so comfortable and at home! She answered every single question I had and then some! She found out that I had an extended warranty on my motor that the place I bought by car from had no idea about! Since that day, I have had my car fixed three major times all covered by warranty thanks to Nancy! She goes above and beyond to help customers! She is the heart and soul of that place! I have been going to Douglass VW for maintenance on my Touareg and at my last maintenance I met Miller. Typically I take my laptop so I can do some work, but this day I didnt. I was interested in looking to see what they had that would be comparable to the Touareg so Miller showed me a few options, we test drove them and then talked numbers. I gave him the price I needed to stay at, he spent the next few days working on a deal and then Friday he said he thought he could make it happen. We went up to the dealership that evening and test drove the Cross Sport again and I fell in love with it. He made sure everything was taken care of, helped us unload our stuff from the Touareg to our new car and saw us off. I cant thank Miller enough for being so awesome! I love Douglass Volkswagen. I recently got into a bad wreck and needed a new vehicle quickly. I had many questions about the new Jettas and Chance from the sales floor was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He was very genuine in helping me find the right car for me. While I didn’t end up purchasing, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of my visit and I really appreciated how easy Chance was to work with.

The service department has horrible customer service. This is definitely not the “home of the nice guys” Virginia was very rude and has horrible customer service skills along with the general manager. I brought my vehicle in today and was told I would incur $150 in fees even with my warranty if their technician couldn’t “duplicate the concern.” I am not responsible for paying the technicians for them if they cannot do their job efficiently. I was told I would also incur a fee because I would not let the technician take my vehicle “for a drive down to south college station.” Excuse me?! No you cannot. Very irresponsible and unprofessional. Will not use this service department again. Ever.

WARNING FELLOW AGGIES: The service department is terrible at this location. Be careful, don’t just agree to what ever issues they claim need fixing, they WILL try to scam you. They tried to charge me $1400 after I took my car in for a recall less than three months before, to replace the part that caused the issue in the first place. They will not admit when they install parts incorrectly and will try to charge extra to fix the issue even when other mechanics have assessed the vehicle and see the incorrect installation methods.

Made an appointment for my wifes Atlas. Took the car in at the appointed time. Was told I would receive an update in a couple hours. Called *them* 4 hours later to get an update. They told me it would be several more hours because their master technician was backed up. THEN, for good measure, made me endure an aside regarding the interchangeability of a couple hours and several hours. Those phrases are not interchangeable...and that is not how you deal with a client over the phone.Had I known they only had one master technician and it would have taken several hours upon a couple hours, I would not have ever made an appointment today. That is not how appointments work. It does not take several hours to resolve what they described as a common issue or to at least assess the problem, pick up a phone, and provide an update.What is the point of having an appointment if they have not hired enough master technicians to keep their head above water on complex issues like erroneous COOLANT LIGHTS...Ridiculous.

I have had a good experience with this dealership. Ive been going there ten years as it has transitioned through different owners. The dealership seems to be running pretty smoothly with the new Douglas owners. I just bought a Volkswagen Atlas and I got a pretty good deal on it. I ended up paying almost 20% less than what we were planning to have to pay for a three row SUV, with 0% interest, and no payments for 120 days. This moved up our timeline for buying a three row SUV. Jason, the sales rep was very helpful and informative, and the sales manager, Travis, was nice and helpful as well. I had thought about going in another direction than volkswagen since weve had two passats and a jetta, but Im pretty happy with the Atlas. We were looking at the ascent or telluride, but the Atlas seems as good and we got it for much less.

I bought my 2016 VW Tiguan before the dealership was taken over by Douglass. This car has been the biggest PITA car I have ever had, and I doubt I’d buy another VW again, but working with Douglass has been a pretty great experience. A few weeks ago one of the hydraulic lifts that supports the weight of the back gate came lose as we were shutting the gate and poked through the rear window (without breaking it) and we could no longer open the gate even through the manual release. We took it in and were told the latch was broken and were quoted a price on repair. We went over all the difficulties we’ve had with car and how the latch broke at the exact same time the lift broke and this was not a wear and tear issue. The service manager, Raymond, stepped in and took care of the issue for us. I really respect that he did so because I understand he didn’t have to do such a thing. The entire service team we worked with was polite, friendly, and went above and beyond to give us the best possible experience. So while I doubt I’ll purchase another VW, I definitely will be looking to purchase from Douglass because of how they treated us. I was so impressed. I rarely post reviews, but this team really deserves it.

When I took my VW Jetta TDI in for an oil change we had an issue with my vehicle. The wonderful people in the service area took care of everything. They treated me like a 5 star customer and so I’m giving them a 5 star rating! Thank you Raymond and Nancy for everting you did!!

Had a clunking sound in my 2017 VW GTI. Service put it right in and was out an hour later. They showed me the issue (something other dealers dont do in this area) and offered solutions. Since it was a non-issue I decided on not repairing it at this time, but happy with the service. Only problem is the diagnostic fee. $150 is alot higher than others.

I will never have work done here again. My daughters battery in her beetle died just as she was getting ready to leave town and drive home. She went in at 9:30 am to get a new battery. At 10 am they had looked at the car and she was waiting on a quote. At 11:40 I finally called to try to get the quote and was told I would get a call back. At 12:00 they have just called to say the work is done and it will be $300 for battery, installation, and resetting the computer. The local volkswagen dealership here does the same job for $199 including installation and resetting the computer. When I asked if she was ever provided a quote, because we would not have had the work done there, they said someone would have to call me back. For $100 I would have had her just continue on home to have the battery replaced. I dont know if this is just the way they treat an 18 year old without her parents along or if this is the way they treat all their customers. Incredibly dishonest either way. We will not be back. I am still waiting on a call back so as of now this is unresolved and she has been at the dealership for 2.5 hours to get a battery.Resolution of this was that part of the time spent was to take care of a recall, which they did at no charge. As far as I know, that is required that it be performed at no charge. Not because of anybodys kindness. The price ended up at a total of $247 as a goodwill gesture. They also explained that there isnt competition in Bryan like there is in the Houston area. To me, if the overhead costs are not higher (which they shouldnt be, Katy is a costly area to do business), this just means we decided to charge more because we can. I will know for next time to tow the car back to somewhere there is more competition.

Purchased a new Volkswagen Atlas and I couldn’t have made a better decision. The salesperson was very easy-going and made this whole process very easy. You can’t find a dealership like that now-a-days.

Came in yesterday and received great service from a young guy who drove me around on the mini cooper convertible. I was so impressed that I came back today with my boyfriend since he said he would be there today, sadly he wasnt. Lets just say that as soon as I walked into the store today around 6:20pm a guy instantly said we told you not to wait, someone is here trying to sign paperwork on the same car you wanted so you better hurry. Being that I am also in sales I completely understand that sometimes you say what you need to say to make a sale but you should NEVER try to rush someone into dropping anything over $10,000 as soon as they walk in the door. Anyways, my boyfriend came in after two minutes of me sitting there and the sales person soon followed. Lets just say that all of the paperwork that was done YESTERDAY wasnt added into the system so we would have to sit there for another 30 minutes to complete paperwork which had already been done. Now I agree that it is important to shred paperwork that has sensitive information on it but when a customer tells you they will be back the next day at around six you should definitely wait to shred anything. Anyways, I my boyfriend met me there to help negotiate my trade-in value. Unfortunately he was in a small time crunch and wouldnt be able to be there until I signed paperwork (which I stated from the beginning so the guy wouldnt be offended when he had to leave). Being that I was the person buying the car I didnt think this would be a big deal. However, he caught my boyfriend looking at his watch once and literally flipped out! He stated clearly you are in a rush and this isnt where you need to be so how about the two of you come back when you are more prepared! Now let me remind you that I was the person purchasing the car, NOT MY BOYFRIEND. Not sure why he kicked us out..I wasnt there for even 10 minutes because he was so rude! I was ready to sell my car and purchase the cooper immediately. I am extremely upset with how he acted and I feel bad for the guy he works with because he wasnt able to make commission from the sale. Long story short I left and went to another dealership.

Always friendly service, glad to have found them to service my 2011 volkswagen golf. I have had an oil change service for 70,000 miles and price quoted was less than what I actually had to pay. Will definitely be going back for routine services.

The Brazos Valley Imports team is spectacular. They go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable with the deal you’re getting. Not only this, you get set up with the service team before you leave the dealership.

My experience with Brazos Valley Import was not a happy one. Took Beetle in paid 5400.00 received back and still did not work. Took it in again 800.00 later still did not work. We gave up took it to our home town and they said work report might not have happen. Cant prove it so our loss. Will not go back. To his credit shop foreman was nice.

I had a very positive experience at Brazos Valley Volkswagen in Bryan, TX today. I live in Waco, TX but had to drive to Bryan to play Taps for a veterans service in my 2006 VW Jetta. I started hearing an unusual noise as I got close to Bryan and after stopping at the cemetery I found that my under engine shield was detached in the front. After playing for the service I found that there was a VW dealership in Bryan and drove over to see if they could help with my problem. There service department was very helpful and said they thought they could get right on it and either take it completely off or properly reattach the shield. Within 15-20 minutes they fixed the loose shield and said there was no charge. Ill definitely remember this if I ever decide to trade in my Jetta. Thanks Bazos Valley Volkswagen, for helping out an out of town bugler, you definitely made a friend today.
