Decent price! My car was involved in a minor accident recently, and the local body shop provided a quote of $3000 which is incredibly crazy. Therefore I decided to repair it by myself. Fortunately, I’ve got half of the parts I needed from BYOT for just a few more than 100 bucks! It’s so impressive! Please keep increasing the inventory, BYOT is such a good place for people in BCS who love to work on their cars!

Was told that I couldn’t use my gas powered air compressor only electric….you can’t even use electric because there is no way to run power to where I was. Was told I couldn’t use a sawsall (which is battery powered) only a hack saw….but I’m allowed to use my battery powered impact… they got an attitude when I questioned why was told it all can cause an explosion…..that’s understandable but they drain and siphon all flammable fluids from the vehicles so there’s no potential for explosions……IN WHAT WORLD DOES ANY OF THIS MAKE SENCE!!!!!!!?????? This business needs to reconsider their impossible procedures. Some of it would make sence if they didn’t contradict themselves

As someone who has been a mechanic and been to countless pull-a-part style yards all over Texas, this one is the best youre going to find. Yard is well kept and organized, inventory is accurate and the text updates are very useful. Prices are fair, and the yard has a safe and professional atmosphere. Employees have always been helpful, even going above and beyond to help me when I needed to make multiple trips to carry all the parts. I wish they would include pictures of their inventory, but so far that is my only complaint. I hope this business is around for years to come!

Friendly staff, great selection of vehicles, great pricing, and awesome location. The yard is well mapped and maintained, the prices are competitive with other pick a part yards but the location is unbeatable. My only complaint is the cars aren’t marked with good or bad engines/transmissions so it’s like rolling the dice for a good one.W.A.P.

If youre car savvy and know what to look for this place will make you feel like a kid in a candy shop. Dirt cheap parts, but either make sure you can verify that the part works while there or get the warranty so that you can bring it back if it doesnt. Got an OEM ignition coil to fix my car for $12. $120 to get the same one new! $2 to get in the lot, but I find it a blast looking around! Great customer service, very friendly. The BYOT aspect is great, just know what youll be doing so that you dont forget a tool! Also, the cars are all propped up on old rims so you dont need to bring a jack. Be sure to bring some jack stands if you plan to go under one thought!

Good people. Clean yard. Well marked and mapped. Prices are a bit high, but not by much for what this place offers. The professionalism seems a bit loose, but over all good experience.

I bought 2 tires with warranty and 1 tire wasnt up to part so i came back next day and as they said they exchanged the tire without any problems i will ALWAYS come BACK !!! Great customer service !!!

I bought a car here recently and they were flexible on the price, the staff was great, polite and from what I saw, very well organized. I was very happy to see them politely enforcing their policy on wearing face masks, thank you. I will be back in the future if I need anything.

Make sure you specify what you are looking for so that way when you go pay it doesnt change on you and almost double the price. The cars are a bit too close so just be careful working and also a bit high to reach for some parts so bring a stool. The lady knows more than the guys upfront so talk to her to make sure. Overall they have a good deal of cars and some prices are good, but so you dont take a surprise ask and specify with the lady. Mistake on both parts but not good trying to deal with them.

Good prices on parts

First time customer and enjoyed my visit (i like salvage yards anyway!). The space was set up well and the two staff members i dealt with were both friendly and helpful. Prices seem pretty good too. Will definitely be going back.

This place is a rip off.. we may as well go to the auto parts and pick up our parts ..with out having to go and pull them ourself....and all you saving is 5% on any used parts..what you think your saving on parts....don’t forget auto parts refund and warranty parts..and auto parts was here before BYOT. Was here...this people will not refund your money only credit to go back to there store ...check your price at auto parts before you go to BYOT..do your math..

Great place but might wanna get counter help that knows the difference in vehicles make models suvs and cars so your not all over the yard and then try and argue with me about what I ask for.

Definitely the nicest pull apart I’ve ever been to. It’s very clean and the staff is super friendly. Very well organized and they’ll tell you where what you’re looking for is and even give you a map. Never been to a pull a apart like this.

One my friends showed had cancer they made fun of Speech, And they werent willing to help him when he needed help to get a part off. I feel like youre just made my city look rude and disrespectful. Specially since my friend came alway from Rockdale.

Ive been to BYOT several times now and have found everything I have needed, I have been helped with patients and curticy. Very organized and great prices and everything I have bought has a 30 day warranty. Ask the old lady behind the counter she will find what you are looking for.

Great stuff here! You’ll find old vehicles parts that you cant find elsewhere. You just have to get your own tools and can take literally any part off the old vehicles in their inventory. They even offer the service of taking the part back if it doesn’t meet your requirements. Amazing people and great service!

First time and think its good

If you looking to pull your on parts I definitely recommend BYOT AUTO PARTS and Bryan I never heard of till recently when I was talking with John over at Aggieland automotive when he brought it to my attention .. As soon as I went in Jason kept it very professional on what I need to do and if I had any problems he would try his best to find me a solution and which he did.

Best pick your part Ive ever been to. My entire experience can be summed up in three words. Air-conditioned Check-out Area. So nice to come in from the sweltering heat to a nice, clean reception area with the ac just a pumping. Staff was helpful, vehicles were easily accessible and they had quite the veriety of stuff to pull parts from. 10/10 will be back.

Very clean for used auto parts. At first I was afraid of missing some tools but after a while I saw the staff walking around keeping a check on things. The vehicles are in the air, wheels welded together and supported on frames. The directions were somewhat unclear at first about rows, I then saw the stickers on outside vehicles that state the row numbers. Prices were absolutely the best in town. I was searching for steering knuckles of which they only had one truck. I got those parts within an hour and both knuckles combined were less than the price of one from other salvage yards.

The people that work here have NO clue of whats going on. They do NOT have any knowledge about vehicles. I spoke to Katie, Veronica, Jason and Cameron. They cannot get their stories straight. This place is a joke!

Super helpful with alot of selection . Remember to read and bring your own tools . 2 dollars to enter and dont rely on the tire iorn to be in the truck to take off a tire ;) . Have gone back 3 times already.Edit : now 6 th time . you are not allowed a jack so getting things like axels or leaf springs are a lot harder to obtain . Plus sawzaw or torches need an appointment so they can watch you . In the end this has made me not purchase some stuff here and buy new due to the shear fact of how long it will take without either if those tools

Allot of cars are staged to close together, its impossible to get like a seat or head liner out, the good thing is that they are all lifted up. You might need a step to reach some parts.
