Mister Bagel is a long time staple of the Maine Breakfast and Lunch scene, each location is a little bit (or more) different form the other. The Brunswick location is hands down my favorite of them all. Made to order breakfast bagel sandwich with fresh egg and meat of choice cooked on a flat top grill. Friendly staff to greet you first thing in the morning. BTW, they open REAL early.Location is accessible from both sides of Route 1 (South or Portland bound will need to use the light to make a left hand turn and loop around the back).

Its like playing the lottery every day. First you check the time and hopefully understand your odds. Then you pick a location, and ask them whats available, in order: salt, garlic, everything. Salt gets regular, but it can also have regular and sliced lox if you had a rough night. Garlic gets regular or chive(I call it The Dentist). Everything means you lose, but its still good with regular or chive.

The team here worked hard and fast to get through a long line to the door. Very nice and attentive with some good menu options. The bagels left a little to be desired, a bit doughy and less airy than I would prefer.

For potential expansion, the current building has a few pro’s and con’s. With high visibility and large customer desire the corner lot offers less parking and traffic flow is a bit tricky at times. I’m not sure where this business would prosper best but I’d certainly consider options. Maybe a 2nd location on the other side of town in Cook’s corner area, or near the Topsham Fair mall.

Great place with great bagels, sandwiches and especially good breakfast sandwiches - my favorite is sausage, egg & swiss on a garlic bagel, its a party in your mouth! They run out of garlic bagels pretty fast, so get there early!The staff is very nice and hard working. I went today and was the only person in line, one person was being helped in front of me. Not even 30 seconds later there were 10 people behind me. They do a lot of made-to-order business, so things take time but it is sooo worth it!Did I mention they have Boars Head Provisions? Yeah, its the best.

They are a little bit slow service wise (even pre-pandemic) but its worth the wait cause everything is always perfect and consistent. Its a nice weekend routine

Trying to stay focus on being vegan. This place is the place to go! All bagels are vegan and they have vegan cream cheese (veg, cinnamon raisin, Olive, and plain). Very clean and friendly 😊

Bagels are top notch. Staff is great about keeping the line moving during the busy morning rush. Any large orders for the office? Call it in first. They get super grumpy if you just drop in for a dozen bagged bagels.

Very mixed feelings about this place. I want to like it but there is someone on the staff who is always pointing out every little thing the other employees does wrong which always makes me feel bad for the rest of the staff. Bagels are only ok but the cream cheeses are awesome.

Went to Mister Bagel just before noon on a Sunday. I wanted to buy a half dozen or a dozen bagels. After waiting in line, I was told that there would be no “bulk” sales of bagels - not even three bagels. I could only purchase a sandwich. Waste of my time. As the guy in line behind me said, Mister Bagel is a bagel store that won’t sell bagels. Well, they don’t have to worry about selling me bagels. I’ll be shopping elsewhere.

Mr Bagel in Brunswick is the best, especially if you want vegan options. There is a selection of four flavors of tofu cream cheese and they are incredibly yummy. The first time I had the olive one, I went back to make certain it was tofu because I was worried it was dairy, but it was tofu. They make it on-site. I live over three hours away and always stop on my way through! The only issue is the hours are limited. They close by 2 pm.

Bagels did not taste fresh. To qoute someone in our party the most tasteless bagel ever. The bathroom did not feel clean. This was a unisex bathroom with a urinal and a toilet, and the previous slob left the urinal full of pee.Warning: the soap dispenser shoots soap out not down. It landed on my clothing and not my hands and probably explains the wet floor. Well, this is what I am telling myself.

Best bialies ever!

Lox bagel was descent. chicken salad sandwich was boring and had hardly any chicken salad on it. chicken rice soup was gross and mostly broth. and my dark roast coffee was weak. tasted like hot water. menus are not clear and do not include prices!!! so for a medium coffee, lox bagel, gas station quality chicken salad sandwich and 6ozs of soup I paid $25 and change. ridiculous. they should get some pointers from the yarmouth, me store.

Best place for a bagel hands down,with great service and clean atmosphere

Was charged $10.79 for a breakfast bagel and 11.5 bottle of OJ. Saw the breakfast bagels on the menu for $5.09 with choice of candian bacon, sausage or regular bacon. The juice was $2.29. I inquired about the total and was told the sliced deli ham I requested was extra to the tune of $2.50. it seems like Mr. Bagel franchisees can set their own policies and pricing which creates noticeable inconsistencies between all their locations. The food isnt even prepared the same. I wont be back to Brunswick. I can get this same sandwich at no upcharge at the Portland location.

The staff here was very overwhelmed, when a large crowd came in. Orders were wrong, and people did not get what they requested. Youd think theyd have a better process for assembly line style bagels.

Different selection of a few things than the Yarmouth location, which was strange, but still good stuff.

The staff recognizes regulars and helps to expedite our morning routines. This is especially helpful when in a time crunch before work

Compleatly dissatisfied... I didnt even want to give them 1 star!!! From the moment we walked in the door we almost Compleatly ignored. When finally asked if we could be helped (after skipping over us) they pointed us to the menu. When we were ready to place our order several others had come in to be served and with the 4 servers behind the counter there was no order to how they helped or served the customers. With all the chaos behind the counter we were still waiting to pay for our order but the server refused to help ring is out... Instead she moved right along to the customers behind us! We waited and watched as every customer that walked in after us was served and ready to leave before we had even gotten our food. Finally when the food did come there was a huge hole in the sandwich bread half the size of the sandwich. When I stated my complaint I was told...thats what you get, sometimes theres holes in them!! I was so upset by her remark I went to back to the counter a few minutes later to have them remake it to my liking (I am the paying customer after all) I was waiting for the other server to finish with her customer so I could ask her but while waiting to my complete disaster I over heard the first worker (the one who said thats what I get) bad mouthing me in the kitchen to an other coworker!!! So I said excuse me and the worker with a customer promptly asked me what was wrong. I simply told her Id like to have my sandwich made with a whole peice of bread... The sandwich that was later delivered to me was so badly burnt I couldnt even eat it!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! I hope this finds its way to the owners... There is absolutely no excuse or reason for this kind of service!!!!
