Excellent experience from the start to the finish. They had the experience and equipment to replace my windshield that had fancy camera and heating functions on it and calibrate the camera when done. They made working with insurance a breeze then delivered on when they said it would be done. Highly recommend them.

Cracked windshield, with lane-keep-assist hardware. Jill did a super job on intake (phone), and even set up the 3-way call with my insurance to take care of all that. Said it would be done by 3:30, and they called at 12:44 with the job completed. Pick up and payt (just deductible, they handle the rest) was a breeze. Definitely my first call if ever needed again.

They fixed two windshields today for me and one was a chip repair and the other was a complete replacement. They were timely professional and caring. I would recommend them to others anytime. Both jobs were done very well and I am satisfied with both jobs. Well done ladies and gentlemen...

I stopped by looking for a quote to replace a couple of doors at one of my businesses, I stood in the showroom for 5+ minutes before being acknowledged by the woman behind the counter. When I inquired about the quote, I was told that the person I needed was not there that day, and I felt like I was being brushed off. After a long pause, I asked if I should leave my contact information for someone to follow up. The woman begrudgingly took my info. No one ever reached out, I’m glad that I got other quotes and didn’t wait for Portland Glass to contact me. The next time I have a project at one of my businesses I won’t even bother attempting to get a quote from this Portland Glass location or any of their other locations.

Great price for a beautiful new patio door. It took a long time for the door to get in because of Covid but install went smoothly and it looks amazing!!

I had a strange need for a piece of custom-cut glass for a kitchen appliance that I could not find anywhere. The woman who I spoke with was kind and said the team would try! She brought it out back to confirm her suspicious that this was conquerable for them and the shop did confirm!I was so happy to hear that they were willing to do this and I said I could pick it up tomorrow.When I returned to get the glass I was so pleased that they had made exactly what I needed and the price was incredibly fair!I will use Portland Glass for my future needs.

I had my vehicle in to have the windshield replaced. It was on a Friday and the end of the day. Afterwards, I got home and realized the cowl was not straight. I opened the hood and saw that the technician did not install the fasteners that secures the cowl. Also, the passenger windshield wiper was not aligned right and the side molding to the windshield was not installed properly. To top it off, there was glass all through my vehicle and grease all over the support handles for getting in and out of the vehicle. Very poor job. If this is their care for other peoples property, I would not recommend them.

So professional, nice and quick

I got a small windshield chip, with a couple of tiny spider cracks, on Tuesday, April 3, on my 2016 Prius. After much research and thought, I brought my car to Portland Glass in Brunswick on Thursday, April 5. The repair took about a half hour, as advertised, but I went outside to look at it before I paid. It didnt look much different than it did before the work was done and I went back inside and said so to a young woman behind the desk (dont know her name or her role there). I also said it looked as though nothing had been done with one of the cracks. She said that all chips are different (I knew that) and that, if I wanted to, the tech could apply more resin! What?? The good news is that, a day later, the repaired chip had continued to cure and was just a tiny gray dot. I could live with that but the crack was still there and was a real distraction, with sunlight glinting off it constantly. I emailed Portland Glass Friday afternoon, saying I was still unhappy with the repair and asking if the tech had done anything at all with that crack. When I didnt get a reply, I emailed again Saturday afternoon but still no reply. I found out that Berlin City Toyota, where I bought the car last year, has someone, a glass tech with 20 years experience, who comes in on Mondays to do windshield chip repairs. He said the visible crack still had air in it and hadnt been filled properly with resin, if at all. He also suggested I take it back to Portland to have it remedied. Im nervous about letting Portland Glass touch my car again but since I paid for this repair, I plan to stop in there in a couple of days to have the crack addressed and to talk to a manager. Meanwhile, I still havent gotten a reply to my Friday email. Who just ignores an email from a dissatisfied customer? Ill certainly never use Portland Glass again for anything!

I needed to have a windshield replaced, so I went in made an appointment and got the price. Showed up 2 weeks later for the appointment just to find out they couldnt find my new windshield and they had known all day that it hadnt arrived. That would have been no big deal if they just called and let me know so I didnt leave work early to have it done. They told me they would call when it came in and reschedule, when I told them I had to take off work to be there they didnt really seem to care. They called the next day saying it had arrived but I think Il find another place to have it done.

They did a great job and the waiting area was very comfortable.

Had a windshield replaced today. Was surprised to find my dashboard specked with mud and dirt. I would have gone back in to let them know if it were not for the pouring rain. Maybe Im being picky, but is it really that hard to clean up your mess after completing a job? A bottle of armour all and a rag isnt expensive. I dont expect my car to be cleaner than it was, but it shouldnt be dirtier. Totally unacceptable. I will not use Portland glass again, and cannot recommend them to others!
