They have really nice stuff. Stuff here is a bit expensive but there are many sales and things on clearance. Worth the price.

I was in your Brownsville store this morning around 11:30. The store was messy and the restrooms were filthy. I was very disappointed.

I was so disappointed at this JcPenny, it was so empty, there wasnt much of a selection in the womens department. Ive never seen this store with very little selections. I always looked forward to coming when Im in town visiting family.

So on May the 3rd I purchased a genuine diamond cocktail ring on the JCPENNEY website. Delivery came in on May 5 and to my surprise not the ring I ordered and payed for. So I called the customer service number and spoke to a supervisor and I began to explain to her what had happened and she looked into the location JCPenney in my city and it showed 2 rings of which I ordered, well apparently they showed them in stock but not physically there. I was so upset. Wow!!! So they refunded my money back. Not happy. My son then had them try card and they didnt even refund my shipping freight. They made the mistake not me. Because of this I will never purchase anything through the JCPENNEY website. I will not refer anyone to purchase there.

It was fun to shop there, employees are helpful.

My daughter and my wife upgraded their iPhone 11 inside the mall and we entered JCPENNY entrance and walked pass this department store, and of course shopped for some shoes and cosmetics plus another important item.

I loved it because that is my store. It had great prices. I bought lots of my favorite clothes. Keep it up JCPenney.

Wasnt jcpenney getting sued for overpricing there clothing,example,they have a shirt priced at 60 but has a 40 percent discount,so now the shirt comes out to 36 dollars,that actually is the real price,there was no discount,they overprice to make you believe there is a discount,this also goes for kohls,look at there prices,a pair of levis is 70 at Kohls,but if you buy 2 pairs,they will let you have them for 45 each,there is no discount,a pair of levis cost 39 dollars at Dillards,thats there everyday price,5 stars for Dillards,but people check up on that lawsuit against jcpenney and Kohls

The stylist was very patient and took the time to do it right. They sanitize after every cut and have sanitizer for the guests. They leave 6 feet between clients and everyone wears a mask. I brought my 5 year old and felt he was safe the whole time.

1 full hour to pay for a child’s toy!!! Its like the counter lady takes all the time in the world to charge people while the other employee is just running back & forth returning peoples items rather than sending them to exchange for other sizes!!! Then the only person charging in the counter leaves with a customer to help her look for another pair of jeans!!! Please hire more people at peak time of the year! Then there is kids lost in the store etc etc! I urge others to go to Dillards or other dept stores! Bad very BAD SERVICE! All those app coupons are stupid and just slow lines down!!

I loved their clearance sales! I spent $160 and brought home 26 items. The most I paid for a clearance sale item was $8. I went when they were offering a $10 certificate for every $50 spent but a sales associate told me there was a coupon for $10 off of every $25 spent. This was an even better deal for me! Thanks JC Penny! I will be shopping there again. Just make sure you join their reward program and check their website for coupons. I just happened to get a really nice associate who told me about the coupon, I dont think its a practice.

JCPenney is an amazing place to buy your clothes. They have a toy section for the kiddos. And all the clothes from toddlers to adults. They need more cash registers tho. The lines are always horrendous! The bathrooms need some remodeling. The doors to the dressing rooms never lock. There is also a Sephora in the JCPenney but it is so disgustingly dirty that I wouldnt even walk through there.

Love to shop here but very short on staff and cashiers. No one that can help you whenever you need. Throughout the store it keeps feeling very humid and hot like their A/C is not working.

We frequent Jcpenney quite a bit. My wifes father works at the one in Tyler. We are used to a neat appearance and associates asking if they can help you find something. This one is empty. Clothes on the wrong racks, absent employees, etc. I went to the watch counter to ask about some of their smart watches. It took a few minutes to get the ladies attention. Once I did, she didnt speak English. I get we are extremely close to Mexico and all. However, shouldnt you at least have a bilingual employee? After all we are still in America. I get if this was a ma and pa store having a strictly Spanish employee isnt that big of a deal. However, this is Jcpenneys, an American department store chain. The lady was of no help or use to me. I came with several watch questions and left with all of them unanswered. Yeah, I can Google them...but, that isnt the point. I wanted to also see how they feel on my wrist. Oh well. There are other stores.

Take off your curbside if you dont have anyone to attend it.

The cashiers are always mean. In literally every other JCPenney, the cashiers will give you coupons, or have them all printed out and tell you about them, and scan them for you. In this one, you literally have to fight them and justify why your coupon will work with your purchase. All the clothes are in a jumbled mess and the workers seem reluctant to help you, except for a select few. Shopping at this particular location is always a headache.

I needed help in the shoe department and after waiting for about 10 min (while i looked at shoes) no one showed up. Same thing happened in their JcP salon. Good store but BAD SERVICE

Hair salon has terrible service. Only speaks Spanish. Difficult to communicate with. Denied they had certain hair treatments available when it was clearly stated in their pamphlet. Walk ins accepted is false advertising.

Terrible customer service. Employee will not help to search for shirt sizes, was too busy folding. Manager would not answer call for employees to assist in doing a price check.

I went to pick up an online order that shipped to the store and I stood in line to get my purchased item for a good 15 minutes.

JcPenney has great prices and a nice selection of clothing. The mens staff is helpful and knows their brands and fit. Always check for coupons and sales or just ask the staff.

Love shopping here, not only for myself but for kids & men. Many stylish options available.

They had a great sale going on but its really hard to shop when you have to dig through mounds of unzoned cloths.Ive tried to shop here on several occasions but this is how it looked each time.Most of the fitting rooms were blocked.The service was unfriendly and the associates were just walking around the mess.I saw about 6 new associates being walked through the store looking bug eyed at the state of the mess. I cant imagine any of them staying to work. Its really sad.This store needs a overhaul team to come in to zone, clean, and organize every section of this store.I label this store a H.A.M. (HOT ASS MESS).

There are only 2 lines/4 registers to pay. Every time I have gone, I wait in line for about 30 minutes. Some people are paying, others are making a payment on the credit card.
