Very friendly and helpful employees. They actually take the time to help with whatever you need even if its simply to check if a ceiling fan arm replacement.
Super helpful staff, store always feels welcoming, very clean store, mostly knowledgeable attendants, great selection available, an if its not avaible, they help you find the right thing. They have cutting services available on the spot for purchased wood,which is great if you dont have the right vehicle to haul your items home in, there just might be a wait time for the service, but overall not bad.
Had a great experience today. I was trying to purchase something online and couldnt do it and was instructed to go into the store. Renato helped me and provided awesome customer service. He went on and beyond was we expected. He made sure I got all discounts I had online. Even assured us if we didnt he would give it to us. Amazing experience today.
Truck delivery/Expert fork lift operator S.Rodriguez made my delivery awesome. Hes got a great attitude and fantastic personality. He is a team member that should be valued highly.
I go there frequently and I never have issues but couple of months back i went into the refrigerators department to purchase a big one for about $1,300 and a small one for $230 and the guy in that department curly black hair was soooooo rude i would ask for suggestions and his opinion because to me other peoples opinions count ...and his answer was well you are going to buy it its up to you i cant tell you anything i was so disappointed In the way he made me feel i just said, never mind sir Ill come back some other day with someone else with better attitude..very extremely disappointed.he probably thought I wasnt going to buy anything..☹️ then few days ago i kept my word and was there again and a very nice white guy took care of me gave me info on almost all of them and gave me suggestions he really took the time to show me around home Depot should hire more like him...🙂
Never did like the experience. Then one day big blue sign . Well might as well say it. LowesHome depot employees were all over the floor like ants on a picnic table. (How can I help You). Im thats the first. Them after a while they ignore customers. And very very hard to get a hold of one if u do they have some attitude. Not big blue . They the best
The worst experience Ive ever had at a Home Depot I walked in and wanted to get a gas grill someone said that she would call someone to help me at the department after 20 minutes wait I looked around for associate I asked the associate for help he looked annoyed and said Im sorry thats not my department go find somebody else so then I asked him well at least can you tell me if they put grills together and he said no we dont do that bye and walked away. I looked and asked for a manager but found another associate that helped me to get a grill was very helpful but in the end I found that he had charged me twice for the propane gas. I feel that associates are either not trained in customer care or just dont care very negative and awful experience.I did talk with management and felt better afterwards

I met Robert Mora he was very helpful. Needed to make a copy of a key and he took the time to search for the key that apparently was out of stock on the floor. He took the time to search his inventory and found one. Excellent customer care. Thank you Robert Mora you are a great asset for HomeDepot.
Curbside pick up is my new best friend...except for that one time the worker was knocking on my window and I was singing my lungs out with my radio full blast so I couldnt hear him. 🤣🤣🤣 5-Stars for waiting till my song was over!! 🤭🤭⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We went here because of the 4th of July Sale they were having on appliances. After spending a half hour or more on making a decision on which refrigerator and stove we liked and getting a person to help us, we were told that we couldnt get ANY color refrigerator from Whirlpool because Whirlpool isnt making any!! Yet, that refrigerator was on the floor with a sale sign above it!! So, we walked out with nothing!!

When into the store the next day and Renato gladly came out to help and gave us the parts we were missing. Made it really easy for us. Will shop there again with no hesitation. The one on south Padre Blvd gave me the worse service . I have my knee hurt right know and they mad me move my shingles and nails by myself but that ok I rather go to Lowes they treat you like. Real costumers! Especially the one in harlingen they are the best !!

Asked 3 employees about a specific item and none of them could tell me where to find the item...I then saw a 4th employee and told him that I had researched the item on the home depot web page and it said available in store...he directed me to where I could find it...

This Home Depot in Brownsville is the worst online pickup service. They sent 2 emails on Wednesday 5/19/21 & today 5/22/21 saying my 2nd part of my order has arrived & ready for pickup. After 30 minutes of them looking for my package and me waiting inside the store because their curbside app is not working, I told them if I have to come here again when they send me another email and my order is not here I will charge you (home depot) $20 for gas! I should have ordered from Lowe’s!

I have been calling for the past 2 days for at least 3 to 4 times a day to check on an order and no one is answering the phone. I get and automated system saying that my call will be answered in the order it was received. I doubt there are many people calling at the same time. Each time I have called I wait 20 to 30 minutes and no is picking up the phones. I would hate to take a trip down there just to check on my order, when they can just answer the phone!!!!
Experience was great today only issue I had is I had to go from lumber all the way to gardening to pay my sheet wood. I was told anything big needs to go to garden which makes no sense since theres a bigger opening and a register in the lumber area. I had to bobble and weave through customers and their carts and squeeze through tight spaces to get to gardening..But other than that it was cool. Thanks for having shade outside when waiting in line to get in..
Natasha and Juan were absolutely amazing in going above and beyond to help me find face masks for my kids. The store showed they had some in stock but couldnt find them. Instead of just sending me on my way I physically saw them looking everywhere and they made a call to the Harlingen store to verify and have some on hold for me and called me back to let me know. They were prompt and honest with there response. This is how it should anywhere you shop.
I was at the store at 8 a.m. and I knew what I needed. My shopping trip should have taken no more than 15 min and it took almost 30. The garden center doors were not open and their register was not working. The cashier didnt seem to be in much of a hurry to get started and there was noone there to help me load 6 40 lbs. Bags of top soil. If it werent because it is the only store on that side of town I would have gone to Lowes but it was to far away.
This is a great Home Depot. Not the largest or busiest but the staff make it the best. My Veterans discount made the difference for buying our refrigerator. Lowes was not able to compete. From now on when we need large appliances I will start and stop here.

I always like home Depot and today may 10 2021, I had a bad experience and bad service.
We went to buy and some wood and we needed and help to puted in the truck. Went back inside and they called employees for help and no one came. We waited for around 4 to 5 mins. No one showed up. My girlfriend and I are both disabled and she saw like around 5 guys in a group in the back just standing there and no one showed up. Then we paid this guy so he would put the truck. So very sad. This store has 2 locations on Padre Island Highway and on Morrison Rd. Both are equally easy to access.
No help offered. Also cashier did not send me the receipt electronically like I had asked him to. Bad service. The other home depot location in town is by far way superior in customer service. Only reason I stopped by on this one was because I was in the area. So I expected the same quality service as I normally get at the other location. Nope, never again

Staff is not knowledgable at all, not even with their own computer system and policies. Ordered online for pickup, which is supposed to save time... been here 20 minutes... still standing in line. Not one customer has been taken care of, despite two associates working the customer service desk... will not come to this store again. Very disappointed.
Customer service experience was terrible. I came from Harlingen to buy a specific tile that my store was sold out of and was returning tile that didnt work with my scheme. They refused on of my returns because it had only 6 tiles left from the box of 7. One broke when I pulled it out to look at how it would fit my color scheme. Well luckily, I called Harlingen and there the customer service person was able to quickly solve the problem and will be able to return the left over tile. Harlingen store great, the Brownsville store needs to train better or find better employees.

4551 South Padre Brownsville is a joke. Ordered and paid for paint and when I arrived, they dont have the base...Placed the online order, selected my store but yet part of order ended up at another location ..what gives? There is no curbside like at Harlingen, service is slow.

I went to purchase a shower that came out on special,in the newspaper. There were not that many,customers in the store. I needed assistance to see if the item I had was the same as the one advertised. I was also going to get other items. Since NOBODY approached me to ask if I need assistance, I went to the washers dept to,look,for someone there. Nobody around so I asked the girl at paints to call someone and I would wait were the showers. I waited a good 20 minutes. NOBODY showed up. I took one item,asked the cashier for the price and bought ONE item instead of three. Very,very b a d service in that department
