Took 4 weeks to get my car done. DIDNT keep contact thought they kept saying they did when we came in to pay. they charged us way more than we was told and it ended up needing more work after it was done. if I could do no stars I would never again will I go here! they also did more work that I got charged for that I never gave the ok about

I usually go to another place for my car maintenance, however, they could not get me in. Midas was able to get me in that day. They also did a great job looking over my car and finding some other issues. I decided to only get my brakes fixed but they gave me valuable information on how to get my car fixed.

My compressor for my Air conditioner went out on a Thursday evening, with a van full of people when it was 93 degrees outside! Midas was the only place in Brownsburg that would take it Friday to see what was wrong! They gave me an estimate that I thought was to high, they worked with me to make it work for both of us. I dropped it off Sunday evening! It was done by 3:00 on Monday! But…. It only worked for a little while!! Then, hot air again! I was very disappointed! Took it back, waited while they checked it out. The part they received was faulty. I went home….not happy. They checked all over and the only place for a rebuilt part was in Pensilvania, a long way away. Jeremiah said that wasn’t going to happen, so he ordered a new part, not rebuilt and had or there the next day. They put the new part in. For NO extra charge and it works wonderfully!!! So thankful they stood behind there work. I would recommend Midas to my friends.

Came to Midas with a check engine light and they were able to get it done in about a days worth of time. The diagnostic was free which is great and Brian kept me informed every step of the way. The check engine light was a mystery to me considering the low mileage on my car, but they were able to track down the bad purge valve that was the cause and they suspected it was because of the age of the car rather than the mileage. Definitely will use them for any further repairs.

I did leave a good review the day my services were completed. A couple weeks after the repairs, my car started acting up, and me and my husband was heading to town and we ended up on the side of the road, car wouldnt start nothing. Had to call a tow truck and have it towed to a local mechanic. First off Midas replaced my distributor, water pump and changed all the belts, so that being said my local mechanic found that the distributor was not bolted in tightly and there was a screw missing and the distributor was pushed a 1/2 in out of place. On top of that it was a bad distributor, my mechanic has taken pictures of every single mess up this people have done. The timing belt was poorly put on my mechanic was able to take his hand and just pull it right off, now since this happened 2 1/2weeks ago Ive had to rent a vehicle because we only have one. My rental bill is almost $2,000 and the new mechanic bill is almost a $1,000 which Brian the shop manager at Midas agreed he would pay for considering everything they did was under warranty. So Brian is not wanting to pay for what they messed up, this is completely unacceptable, and I have hired an attorney and Im ready to file a lawsuit, I should be reimbursed for the rental Ive had to pay for due to Midas mistakes and poor quality of work. And they should be paying the mechanic every penny he is owed for fixing everything they messed up. This isnt right by any means, and my mechanic has taken pictures step by step as ye went through the issues and video, and its a proven fact that the bad distributor they put in my vehicle was the cause of the issue. I suggest if you need mechanical work done you do not use Midas, take your vehicle to your local mechanic. This is absolutely absurd and Im struggling to just to get by all my money has went into renting a vehicle because I do have to go to work everyday, again this is poor quality in work and service manager needs Brian needs to make this right.

Had some issues with my 2010 Equinox overheating and not running right. Brian at Midas in Brownsburg was quick and willing to help me out. Ended up being a timing water pump issue and could have been serious had I not taken it in. The work Brian and his crew did was exceptional. Front desk receptionist was extremely nice and helpful as well. Will definitely return for any future service my car my need. 👍

This place goes above and beyond for their customers. I ran over a nail and my tire was almost flat. I went to big o tires first and they were closing in 10 minutes so they couldnt help me. I went to midas and they were getting ready to close too. It was raining and they came outside and immediately started helping me. They were very friendly and professional. I am so impressed with the accommodations, price, and service experience with Midas in Brownsburg. Derek called me a few days ahead of time to confirm my booking that I placed online. Derek and Jeremiah the managers were accommodating to call my 4 year old and I an Uber to go home and a ride back to Midas so we didn’t have to wait there..because we know how patient 4 year old are . They saved me money by replacing items only needed and not charging me for things just because and for a single mom this was huge! Midas will be the only place I will go from now on.

Terrible. I wouldnt give this any stars. Mark up on everything service is horrendous. Managers there are terrible, lie to customers. If you have other options, go somewhere else. The only reason for one star is they are probably ruining the descent mechanics trying to make a living.

My fuel pump only started messing up after you guys worked on my intake manifold, i wont be coming back to midas i do believe it was unsatisfactory service. The workers are nice and its a clean place but theres something not right about the timing of whar happened to my car. Ive also had a family member who had a problem with these services in brownsburg. I just wanted to see for myself

Bribing me with a free oil change for a 5 star review will only get you so far...Well I had a five-star review for this shop until the the things that this shop repaired fell apart. We had approximately 2, 700$ worth of work done and about a week and a half or so later everything that they had repaired needed to be replaced. When we broke down we were pretty far from brownsburg so it got towed to another mechanic when he tore into it it was discovered that everything that Midas had replaced was poorly done. When asked to resolve the issue the shop manager instead of trying to resolve it, wanted to argue not only with the mechanic but with me as well. I know where I come from you dont argue with a customer you do what you can resolve the issue at hand and this was not done at all. I would have had a better chance of talking to a two-year-old to get the issues resolved rather than the shop manager. When I asked for a corporate number or the person that is above him he refused to give me the phone number and said that he was it that I couldnt talk to anybody else which I later found out when I called corporate that was a lie. I could honestly go on and on about the phone conversation I had with the gentleman but avoid this shop at all costs. If you have an issue its going to be resolved in a manner thats going to be so frustrating for you youll just give up on it. Hopefully they see these reviews because you had five stars I understand you have to stick up for your mechanics in the shop and the work that they do but you can only do so to a certain extent and arguing with a customer and calling the customer a liar is not the way to handle the situation. Im still in the process of getting the issue resolved hopefully something will make me change this back to a five-star review but I highly doubt it like I said avoid this shop at all costs not only do they do shoddy work but the customer service is ridiculously bad.

Had the guys set up to install new magnaflo cat back sys on my car. WAS planning on removing oe exhaust myself and have Midas just install new. However, Removing old in the pouring rain in driveway wasnt going to happen. Called last minute and asked, can we change appt. to remove and install. They got me in 1st thing that morning and did a Fantastic, Timely, Very VERY reasonably priced.Have. Not. Stopped. I called at 5pm on a Friday and asked if they could take me. They said Come on in, well fit you in. They closed at 6pm, but still willing to take me on short notice. I called 5 other shops around and no one else would take me in. It was a little pricey, but it was worth it.

Very good service and labor at the time I was there is reasonable also its one of the few shops like this that the owner works there and will install exhaust parts that the customer brings for the labor rate. Im the type of person that hates to pay someone to do this work and in the past I would do the work but I highly recommend this Midas.

They tried to charge my mother 700 dollars for an exhaust repair that was 20-50 dollars at most. Taking advantage of single women pisses me off and the fact you did it to my mother rubs me the wrong way. This is only my first step. My next step will be reporting this incident to your corporate offices. If you are a single women or have an important one in your life please do not send them here.

Car was running rough was told needed new catalytic converter o2 sensor. 900 dollars later. Pick up car was told still running the same.Turns out was ignition control moduel that I installed at home for 150$. So before you go here just know your guess is as good as theirs and a lot cheaper.

I took my car in with no idea what the issue was. The team figured out the problem, called to let me know, and then called a few hours later when it was done. Brian then reached out to check up on me to make sure the work his team did held up to their standards. Very professional and friendly.

Staff was very nice. Store was clean. However, I went in for a oil change fluid check rotation of tires. Left with a car that was shaking like crazy. Wasnt shaking before I went in. Went back the next day he said they rotated the tires back but that a rim was bent. I live 10 mins from that place off of I-74. Drove no side roads. He said I had to have hit a pot hole. Suggested I take it to Belle tire where I got the other rims from for a new one. Again not shaking before, took no side roads and all the sudden I have a car that shakes. Kinda strange.

I discovered I had a roofing nail in my tire at 5:30. Called to find out the store hours. Spoke with Kristoffer and he said to come on in. They were unable to fix my tire due to where the nail was but put on the spare, aired it up and stayed pass closing time to help me out and then did not charge me for their time. I have had other work done at this location and the service has always been exceptional and would recommend Midas in Brownsburg for any of your care service needs. They are awesome!!!!

Would not recommend going to this place for anything regarding your vehicle. They’re extremely pushy and try to take advantage of any situation. Very sketchy place. You can find a better place in Brownsburg without a doubt.

I am going to say I will not be recommending this place. I grew up on using Midas in the past so I felt like I should be ok for a quick brake repair. On 09/28/2020 I got to the shop a little before 8am. I was the first and only customer there. I was greeted ok and told that there were no techs there yet and I would have to wait. Ok there is always a problem sometimes it is 2020. So when one showed up and after about an hour I was told the problem that my last shoes were put in wrong and I would need new rear shoes and 1 drum. So I waited for and estimate and wham. over 500 bucks that was if they could not save anything. I was in a bind so I agreed. Then I was told they got the wrong parts twice and that they were working on it. Three and a half hours later I was still waiting. I was still the only customer. when one came it It was an older lady and she was worried about coming there because she didnt trust them. she waited long too. She asked for her car back and was told were are getting to it right now. Hey guys here is a hit for you do not talk about your customers loudly when you have a thin wall to the waiting area. She was mad and really wanted to leave. When I finally got my keys to my car they could not rush me out fast enough. Big surprise I had to pay the full amount. I had to even ask about any warranty. So I might have gotten an ok repair but I dont feel like it. I feel ripped off. So I suggest if you have somewhere else to go you should.

Please price check before you get your work done here they charge me $200 more than the dealership would charge made me feel it was urgent when I called to tell them this and gave them a written estimate from the dealership they supposedly talked to the owner and the owner I said I wasn’t overcharged so obviously they don’t want my business and I’ll be going to the dealership because I need the front done also. The Manager did not speak with me professionally raised his voice I was hoping for a resolution but that wasn’t going to happen So I then go to the dealer to find out my bearings are covered under warranty wow 😮

The manager is nothing but fake smiles and friendliness while they sell you stuff you dont need. dont try to rip off a retired mechanic........ PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY. FIND A DIFFERENT SHOP.

Where to begin with this place? Well I went in about a month ago to replace my brakes and have them check the codes in the check engine light. My dad had called right before the repair and told them to give me the brake parts upon completion of the repair. They let me take photos, but did not mention anything about my dad calling and did not give back the breaks to me. 2nd, they mentioned more repairs that needed to be done with my steering rods and rotary pads. I went to firestone to obtain a 2nd opinion, and they said nothing was wrong with any of the pads, tire rods and that the car is in good shape. Finally, after retrieving my car, I noticed there was a “ticking” noise coming from my glove box that wasn’t ticking before the repair. I called the shop the next day and told Teddy H. about the ticking and just said that it’s a very common issue with my type of vehicle. He said if it’s still apparent after a month, then I can come back to the shop and have it fixed. I went back and spoke with Brian (the other manager) and told me the same thing about it’s common with my vehicle type, but would charge me $90 for a diagnostic. Why would I pay for a repair that had no occurrence before the brake replacement at this shop? I told him that and all he said was “well that’s an unfortunate coincidence.” I’ve had my car for 4 years and it has NEVER made that ticking noise before I put my car into this shop and they refused to fix it unless I paid. These guys are complete scumbags and would recommend going any where else. My manager also had a bad experience here because they had some other repairs they recommended needed to be done with her vehicle but when she went to another shop to obtain a 2nd opinion, they also told her nothing was wrong with her car. This is by far the scumiest car repair shop that I have ever been too.

I wish there was a lower rating than 1 star. I went there for a routine oil change. Picked up my truck and thought all is well. A couple of weeks go by and I notice my windshield washer fluid is empty. So, I go to pop and hood to refill it and my hood latch cable is no longer connected to the lever. I confronted the Manager/Assistant Manager, about replacing the cable and I am sure his guys didnt mean to break it. He replied that, there is no proof my guys did this and it will cost about $200 dollars to replace. This is an unacceptable business practice, and I assure you I will take my business else where from now on. I am also submitting a review to the better business bureau. Midas please feel free to contact me if you ever want to make right on your mistake. EDIT: fix latch and sold truck, I have continued to do all my own maintenance, and routine fluid changes. All this over a 10 dollar part and about an hour of labor. I hope it was worth it.

First time i went here it took 3 hours for an oil change and didn’t even put enough oil in my car. decided to come back for the second time with a different car and they said it would be 45 minutes and still took 2 hours. saw a guy sitting in the garage on his phone. don’t even waste your time. just spend the extra money to get it done somewhere else in a timely manner

Great service, nice attendant . Since my initial review I had break services done, seemed like a good job at a reasonable price. However the vehicle was lowered on to a clip which punctured my tire, one piece of the clip was removed and patched however a second piece remained and a few days later my tire started leaking again. Upon returning the attitude and professional appearance was gone. Didnt want to fix problem and said it wasnt their fault. After a small discussion they proceeded with repair under protest . I will not be returning to this store.

These mechanics are great on letting you know whats wrong in a timely manner. They then continue to have the problem fixed very fast.The prices are very much affordable. Recommended!

I stopped by after work with a flat tire and they were getting ready to close. The owner was so gracious to fix my flat, replace all the stuff in my trunk and did it all with a nice smile and and a firm hand shake. Normally there is a charge for this service and I was about to pay and he said no charge and thank you for being a nurse!!!

Always a good experience come in for a routine oil change every time and this time they fixed a panel that was loose on my car along with the oil change service no extra charge. Friendly staff clean waiting room and bathroom 👌

These people are the worst, I took my car in on Friday evening to have the heat fixed, they told me it was the thermostat and it would cost about $360 which I paid; only for them to say that wasn’t the problem and they had to fix something else. At this point it was already so late, so I said I would come get it on Saturday and the manager said he would call me before 12noon to give me an update; my bill and what else they found. I didn’t get that call, so I called them to know what was going on, they told me they would call me back with the accurate info as soon as they know. I called 3 times on Saturday and they gave me the same response. It was past 6 o’clock already, I called them and they didn’t pick up again because they had closed for the day, and also don’t work on Sundays. I couldn’t go to work on Saturday and church on Sunday just they couldn’t be honest.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING!!!! I WOULD GIVE THEM NO STARS IF I COULD. I needed an alignment and a rotation of my tires. I was outrageouly overpriced and they didnt do anything right. I had to get on the road and all of a sudden my wheels come completely off. It wasnt just any employee but the store manager that did the work. They are getting sued as soon as I make it back to the city. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. There are too many bad reviews for this place. It really seems they did this intentionally because I am not of white ethnicity. Just look at the reviews. It seems like everyone displeased is other ethnicities. Coincidence?

Every time we go to this Midas, Sal takes great care of us. Hes done everything from oil changes and tire repairs to engine problems on multiple of our vehicles. Weve even bought a car from him and he really worked with us on the price and payment options when we were in a really tight spot with no vehicle about to bring our newborn home from the hospital. Honest man, honest work!

I take my car here whenever it needs work. Ive gotten to know the owner fairly well and have always found him and his crew to be fair and honest and I have always been satisfied with their work. Ive done a lot of my own work over the years so I have a decent, though amateur, eye for mechanical work and have been pleased with their labor whenever I get my vehicle back.

Today (3/22/18) I had my alternator replaced and an oil change at the Brownsburg location. The young lady behind the counter was super nice and Jordan (manager) was a pleasure to work with. They stand behind the warranty on their parts as well! I definitely will be coming back when I need more work done!!! Thank you!!!

Stoped in to have brakes checked out....was told about 30 minutes to get it in and check ot out.....2 hours later had to leave without having anything done as they hadnt even got it in yet.....not cool

I mostly went here just for oil changes. However, the staff here really does not like coupons and would give me a hard time every time I come in with them. Last time I was there (and will be the last time) they conveniently lost my coupon and on top of that they over tightened the lug nuts causing my brake pads to warp and need to be replaced!The only positive I can say is that they were usually pretty speedy with the work once the appointment was made.

Do Not go here! We were on the road and noticed one of our new tires was bulging so we called this shop. They said they would order the tire we needed. We then went in to make sure they could order what we needed.After waiting the hour and a half they said it would take, they tell us they forgot to order it, sorry! They offered us no compensation for their mistake. Do Not go here!

They were friendly which made it all the more worse when I learned I got charged double on a timing cover gasket repair. They did the same quoting me on a valve cover gasket. Being in the aviation industry where trust in your mechanics is vital nothing angers me more than getting stabbed in the back by a mechanic. I dont think I need to say anymore than that.

Husband took truck in to get an alignment, they ended up breaking a part on the truck due to the fact they didnt have or didnt want to use the proper tools. What would have cost under $100 ended up costing over $400. I dont know what place of business would break something on your vehicle due to their lack of proper use of tools and still make you pay for their mistake. I will never do any business with them ever again.

I will start out by admitting I was an idiot- came here for a routine oil change and later my car died. I blamed it on them, and they paid for a tow truck (out of pocket) to bring my car in and take a look to ensure I didnt damage the engine. Turns out I had an ignition coil that was failing and my engine had low RPMs. Even took me aside to explain everything that was going on with my car, and what might happen if I decided to put this off (engine will die more often but it wont cause damage). Even though it wasnt the oil and wasnt their fault they still paid for the tow truck. Phenomenal staff, phenomenal shop, will continue to come to Midas whenever I have car problems, highly recommended.

The Brownsburg Midas is the first place I go to when I have car issues. Excellent service and they are straightforward with you. Sal, the General Manager, took the time with me to go over the work needed on my car and discuss my options. I cant say enough good things about this place.

I went last week to do an oil change then today my daughter told it was some brown liquid coming out the car my oil filter was broken on one side, my car was empty of oil in very glad the car didnt go worst, today I went to Midas and ask to talk to a manager the guy who come out it was the same who did my oil change last week, he told me theres not proof that they gave me that oil filter, he said Im talking bullshit, he said the part maybe was defective and it wasnt his fall he asked me what do I want?,I said what will you if this was your car? What was the point for me to come here and ask for a service? I had to run to the store get more oil another oil filter, and I didnt ear you say SR IM SORRY THAT HAPPEN TO YOU WHAT WE CAN DO TO END THIS IN A FAIR WAY? Nope he didnt even try, he was just angry wondering what do I want.

Had complete exhaust done, had to take it back twice. They fixed it both times at no cost.

Had very troubling experiences with this Midas location. Had used them in the past for oil changes with no problem. This June purchased new tires from this Midas. My husband noticed right away that though we had the alignment done with new tires, the car pulled to one side. The shop manager and his staff looked a the tires and stated tire had been hit as there was a bubble in the sidewall. It was insinuated that we had hit the tire in a pothole and replacing it was not under the warranty for replacement that we had gotten with our purchase. The manager said he would replace it, though he said it had been hit and we assured him in the day and a half that we had it before my husband drove it and observed the pulling, that it had not hit a pothole. Midas changed the tire out, we picked it up, assuming all was well. When my husband reviewed the correction Midas had made, he found that the bubble on the sidewall to the tire was now on the back right tire whereas it was previously the front right tire, along with the same hub cap that was scratched. When my husband confronted the manager, asking about the new bubble on the back right tire he said he would have to review the garage cameras to see what happened. He came back with the information that the service person had indeed not switched out for a new tire on the front right, but instead, put our defective tire on the back. Midas then took our car back and corrected the problem, taking off the defective tire with a bubble in it. When we received our car back after many trips there, it was missing some screws tacking a plastic liner underneath our car that now can flap open as well as some other grates that went around our lower headlights. We were very disturbed by flagrant malpractice by the service personnel and that we were put in question about having driven over a significant pothole a day after receiving new tires, versus us receiving a defective tire. We do not recommend this Midas anymore.

I only gave 1 star because I had to.... please DO NOT GO TO ANY OF The repair shops in Brownsburg or Plainfield.. they will give you a bunch of charges and they are over prices the Office and management is the worst please save your money and your car go somewhere else.....

This place has NO CLUE about customer service or really any knowledge of their job. I took my truck here today to get 4 new tires changed, then mounted and balanced. My appointment was at 8am and they didnt even pull in til after 9am, to which they didnt even do what I needed done by the time 11:45 rolled around. So, they call me nearly 4 hours after I dropped it off to tell me that they couldnt do it because of my rims being powder coated. I walk over to Big O and the manager literally walks out and over to the bay where my truck was and told me right there they couldnt do it but at least referred me to Firestone since they have the machine for special rims. Pretty pathetic that a place took nearly 4 hours to tell me that they couldnt do a job or even recommend a place to go locally. I will NEVER EVER go to Midas again for ANYTHING!!! They also screwed over my gf for her oil change appointment and couldnt even get her in at her time as well...so we just left.

I went to this place for service and the customer service was very good.

Very helpful and caring, gave me a discount out of the goodness of their hearts, will definitely be back!

Just asked for a ballpark qoute to replace a waterpump. They said they dont do business like that. Their loss :)

Beware! Danger! Dont trust them! I had to take them to court to prove they started my car without oil! They finally admitted the tech did, indeed, started it dry, just days before our court date. My biggest issue was that they sent me on my way with an engine that they knew would blow any time, anywhere. Not just poor business, but criminal in my opinion. I tell everyone not to trust Brownsburg Midas.

I wish there was a lower rating than 1 star. I went there for a routine oil change. Picked up my Pontiac G6 GTP and thought all was well. A couple Hours Later go by and I notice my windshield washer Sprayer Was Not Spraying As I Went To Clean My Windshield . So, I go to pop the hood to refill it and my hood latch cable is no longer connected to the Nozzels. I Confronted Chelsea about replacing the Nozzels and I am sure the guy didnt mean to Break it. Chelsea Replied Bring It back in and We can Take A Look At It This is an unacceptable business practice, and I assure you I will take my business else where from now on. Midas please feel free to contact me if you ever want to make right on your mistake.

My first experience with this Midas location consisted of waiting 2 hours for an oil change that I had previously scheduled, and the mechanic attempting to convince me that my car took more oil than the engine actually held.Not sure why I even bothered going a second time, but it didnt last long. For my second trip, I scheduled an appointment using the Midas website and selected 5:30 as my appt time. I book this 3 days in advance to ensure there was availability. When I arrived, they blankly looked at my and asked me if I was planning on leaving my car over night. Why would I leave my car overnight for an oil change? Then they preceded to explain that they have tried to get the corporate office to change the website, but they werent able to take appointments after 4:30pm.Needless to say, I left without an oil change and will not be returning to Midas.
