Horrible company (the business, not the service workers). I ordered a bed, they give me 2 weeks and then cancel on the day of delivery. Another 2 weeks I have to wait — then they cancel on me again. And now I have to wait 3 more weeks. It’s a bed, not cloths. Meaning I have to continue to sleep on a air mattress now. I pay 2000 for a bed, you think they would want you to have that right away. I will not recommend this company to anyone
I bought dining chairs in June. They have been sitting in the warehouse about 30 minutes from my home for almost a month and still not delivered. Communication is ineffective. I cant imagine shopping here again. I dont have any issue with the store directly, just the company and its systems more broadly.
What a boring place to walk through! Im probably the only one that thinks that, but after years of meandering through the pottery Barn and never finding anything I want parentheses at least at a decent price, (Im tired of wasting my time here. Ill give it two Stars simply because it US bright and shiny and provides income for the employees and the mall.
Decent quality furniture in trendy design. they have great accessories, too. one of the best chains.
Lovely store. Wish it were bigger to see more furniture.
I used to like this this company, won’t be shopping at pottery barn again. Very poor customer service from the so called management team. We purchased a expensive piece of furniture after 3 months and two attempts of delivery’s and no communication we reached out to management for answers. We then were told this item was lost and discontinued. Very unapologetic and offered a 5% discount.I will take all of my future business else ware. Not the company it used to be
Customer support is rude. Orders take a ridiculous amount of time to receive!! No ability to review the quality of the item so others can know what to expect. I ordered a lamp that was expensive and damaged...returned and reordered just to receive another defective lamp. Delivery took weeks 😣 Also ordered several wreaths. Some were not as pictured. Customer support said they were not able to be replaced.
Customer Service is horrible! The staff in store at Flat Irons makes me want to not buy or order anything from Pottery Barn. They are rude and incompetent. I will be taking my business to Crate and Barrel or Serene and Lily from now on. It’s just not worth dealing with their staff.
I have no issue with the Pottery Barn stores. I do have issue with their furniture delivery. Since we moved into our new house, we have ordered several new pieces of furniture from Pottery Barn and they ALWAYS take a long time to arrive. The worse by far is the dinning room table we purchased on May 17. The most current update we have from Pottery Barn is that it will be delivered sometime between October 2 - 16. We arent holding our breath since the original delivery was supposed to be the beginning of July. It was then updated to August, then September, now October. At five months since ordering the table, you would think we would have some kind of communication explaining why it is taking so long. COVID? Lumber shortages? Lost our order? Who knows? We did reach out and ask about our order. The not so helpful response was we would be contacted when our order shipped. To top it off, Pottery Barn has already collected the money for the dinning room table. So for the last five months they have had our money and we have had no table.
Customer service wasnt great.
This store/staff could use training in customer service. While shopping to furnish our new home, staff could care less to ring up an order. I had a list of exactly what I intended to purchase; with snobby sales people who wouldnt give me the time of day - I walked out and purchased furniture and lighting collections elsewhere.
Great service, great prices.
Very helpful staff. Great experience!
Extreme disdain for customer experience. They couldnt care any less if you get your product in tact or at all for that matter. Customer service reps make it clear they are only in it for the paycheck and dont care how they represent their company.
The store is lovely, and the salespeople were incredibly accommodating. We needed help designing a small space, and they helped us right then and there at the store and then sent someone to our home to take a better look to give us some more ideas. I highly recommend this store.
Love this Pottery Barn location. The staff is so nice and they had everything we needed to furnish our babys new room! Very clean, good parking, and nice people.
Huge floor selection. Good demo sale running.
Do not order a bed at pottery barn. Missing parts and rails don’t meet the headboard. Waited 3 months for the bed . November 2018 order for Christmas gift for my daughter and it was delivered last week (March) and could not be assembled. Delivery took the bed back and said a representative would call . She called and said we have the parts and will deliver the bed a week from today. Daughter takes off work to meet the delivery today and this rep calls and says they sent the bed back and have to order a new one!!! What? Couldn’t you have called before the promised delivery date? Total lack of customer service skills, no apology, could have cared less that my daughter took off from work, waited forever for the bed and we have received no correspondence from the design/ sales team at the Flatiron Store. William Sonoma rep called to inform her that the bed will not be coming, again no apology just matter of fact. This is the second bed / headboard I’ve purchased from them. AND with the same horrible experience of missing parts. Never again.
I usually have great experiences with the customer service at this store, but was particularly impressed last week by Abrahams help. I had several large boxes of lamps and lampshades from an online order to return and he was extremely accommodating, helped me get all the boxes into the store and processed efficiently. One of the quickest returns Ive ever seen! I was impressed and so thankful.
Very helpful and patient phone call & on Black Friday. Directed me to the proper pottery barn store. Thank you.
Love this place. Associates are very helpful
Very low selection supply. Super poor customer service and product knowledge. Sales rep even admitted she was no help and slow. Im better off going online then dealing with the poor customer service. Its aweful!
Love this store! The staff is always so knowledgeable and helpful! I used Ashley for my in home consultation and loved her help, my house looks great!
Super clean and organized. Nice staff.
This store has wonderful customer service. I am so impressed with the manager who helped us today and the employees, too. We will definitely be back!
Great place to shop! Nice helpful people work there!
One star only because I couldnt rate this company any lower. I called in 8 times trying to buy a door mat. I was put on hold for over an hour, I was given contradicting information, and I was hung up on. Trying to buy a house warming gift from Pottery Barn has been the worst customer service experience Ive had in years.
Nice stuff in thier store! Stop in and check it out
Ashley has been our design consultant and is wonderful; patient, not pushy at all and a real human being which is hard to find in consumer service these days. Pottery Barns shipping/delivery fees are way out of the ballpark though.
I ordered the Small Bedford desk along with the Bedford Corner desk. I realized I put the 4 drawer in my cart after placing the order. I wanted the 6 drawer. Immediately called to switch this. The rep said shed handle it and email me. Never heard from her. Called 5 times (no joke) on hold for over an hour. The shipped the wrong item and it now says non-returnable. I will Never shop Pottery Barn again. A customer service rep caused me to be stuck with a desk I didnt want. It is frustrating that you cant talk to anyone that has some sense. And it wasnt cheap either. I would go to Room and Board. We have never had any issues there.
Wish I could give them a negative 10.! ordered a house full of furniture during the buy more save more event March 9th. Items arrived with missmatched legs, no dininning table causing me to cancel Easter plans at my home & then when I was promised no shipping charges those were tacked on with a promise they would be credited. I finally was so upset they agreed to cancel/return all items. This was end of April. I still have an outstanding credit due for over 2500.00 and the store manager said he is not allowed to help me, they cant figure it out. The Pottery Barn concergie service told me to hire an attorney because there is nothing more they can do and cant figure out the discrepncy. Absolutely rediculous that no one at Pottery Barn can privide reciepts or evsn tell me what the lump sum charges are for purchases or credits or more importantly why the credits are not matching up.Meanwhile I sit with an empty house and hours of my time waisted on the phone & in the store. While looking at past reviews I noticed the store manager Jezse, that is not allowed to help me with my store purchase, gave the store a five star rating. Happy you think so much of yourself & your store Jesse. Thr customer service, coordination and product is disappointing to your customers.Terribly disappointing that I have to hire an attorney to get my money back.
Never order custom furniture!! I was told my order would be ready in 6-8 weeks, its now been more than 10 weeks and I am still getting the run around. Ive called numerous times and keep getting told numerous stories as to why the order is late. Basically, as to what I gather, its stuck in a warehouse in NJ for over 4 weeks, but they dont have a contact number?! Total BS. They only send requests electronically, but I never received a clear response or call back in regards to an update. Super disappointed with PB. I will be shopping elsewhere in the future. In the meantime..... Im still waiting on a clear delivery date.
Typically overcrowded with furniture. Was looking for spoon rest, no one new what it was and had to look to see if it was in their inventory. Apparently people must put it down on the counter.Have tried the same store for other merchandise with the same action.Doubtful if I use the store again
Pottery Barn at the Flatirons Mall has free design services. They are amazing!!
Love this store! Excellent variety, but pricey
Friendly service and great prices
Ordering PB furniture has been the worst shopping experience I have ever had. We ordered a bed and frame in November, 2015. It was delayed multiple times, but not without false confirmations that it was on its way. We finally got the bed in February but they sent the wrong length legs. We called their customer service for the 6th or 7th time (no exaggeration) and they said the legs would be on their way. After a week and a half we called back and learned that they hadnt been ordered yet. Finally, we received everything and have a functioning bed.Not knowing how bad that process would be, we ordered a couch from Pottery Barn in early January, 2016. Expecting the bed to arrive in early March was fine... furniture takes a bit of time. What we didnt expect was the bed to be delayed until April 1st and now again until April 22nd. Thats more than 3 months that we are sitting on camping chairs. When you do receive the furniture finally, it is well made and is comfortable. Thankfully, also, the support folks are generally friendly and helpful. Small silver lining, and still not worth it in my opinion.Dont order furniture from Pottery Barn unless you want to receive multiple delay notifications, call their customer service frequently, and deal with various issues because some anonymous they did something wrong again. Terrible terrible experiences.
Would spend all my money here....if I could.
For any interior designer, this is a dream to visit this store!)
Lost furniture, lying in-home sales people, 3-6 months wait on furniture that is supposedly in stock.
Nice quality items, but overpriced and limited selection.
