We were passing through the area on our way from Phoenix to Estes Park CO when our VW bus died on the side of the road. After waiting several hours for a tow it was an absolute JOY to meet Jim at Fast Foreign Auto. We thought we were going to be stuck for days but he got us up and running in just a few hours. We watched him and wife Michelle help several others in need as well. Kind, honest and delightful people.

We have been taking our cars here for years for oil changes and repairs. They are always so helpful and take the time to explain things. If you are looking for that special place that you can trust with your cars, this is it. What prompted me to write this review is when I took our van in for inspection prior to purchasing it. Steve was extremely helpful, listened to all of my concerns. He took the time to look at everything and explain things to me. The van was making a strange noise that others couldnt figure out and he was spot-on with what was causing it! Thanks Steve!

Last week while I was sitting in the waiting area waiting on my car to be finished, one of the employees was talking loudly on a call about his plans to attend the insurrection that took place yesterday. At the time he called it a rally and I thought nothing of it, even though it seemed to be an inappropriate conversation for a work place, it was the first incident Ive experience like it in the many times I have frequented this shop. After what happened yesterday I can not in good faith return to a business that employs anyone willing to partake in that kind of behavior.2 stars only because everyone else seemed pleasant.

We took our BMW to this shop last week to have the radiator replaced. They were able to get us in and have it replaced within the same day. We had another issue with the vehicle over the weekend so took it back on Monday. We found out it was an issue with the fuel injector. Weve been having issues with this for nearly a year, took it to the BMW dealership in Boulder who never identified the issue or fixed the problem. In less than 24 hours these guys found the issue and had it fixed. They also replaced a coil that was going bad because they had an extra in the shop. Cant say enough great things about them! Well be taking all of our vehicle business here from now on.

I stand by this shop 100%. I have been going to them for years and have never had a bad experience. They are fairly priced and extremely informative. They explain everything to me and always show me exactly what’s broken. I’m happy that it’s always the same people working, it makes me really feel like I know them. They always have their dogs in the shop too which I absolutely love. Super friendly and have never let me down!

These folks came to pick up one of our vehicles for a pre-purchase inspection and when they returned it we gave explicit instructions to drop the keys in our box and close our gate. Arrived the the next afternoon to find the vehicle left unlocked with keys inside, window rolled down, and gate left opened. Called to confront them and we received no apology, just excuses that they were not told any instructions. Seems pretty basic to lock a car and roll up windows even if nobody told you to do it. The guy also was very rude about the whole interaction. Would not and will not recommend them as they are obviously very reckless and irresponsible.

Honest mechanics were a thing of legend and lore where I come from. Well are pigs flying?? I spoke with the owner today and hes a straight shooter, and he says what he means and means what he says. . Way more affordable than other dealerships. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Top customer service and very helpful,after Chevrolet and Firestone gave me a wrong diagnostic like i need to change the engine for about $8000 which was really wrong, they are not to be trusted at all...Foreign Auto found the correct issue with my Chevy Cobalt and make the car run, i need it only the alternator to be changed,Foreign Auto Service did a great job and the prices are so good ... i will use them again for sure A+++Thank You very much for your help we are happy!

The two men that I was speaking with during my car being serviced were both very nice and explained everything and getting there learning that the cost was a few hundred less dollars than what I had planned was a huge Plus. This family owned and operated business has AMAZING customer service... and with the unfortunate circumstances I had to go in there for (installing an interlock for my vehicle) everything ran smoothly and was very time efficient.... they treat you like a customer and not another number, or nuisance to society. After payment for my interlock, the owner, Steve was kind enough to drive my vehicle around (which I had just purchased earlier in the week) for a test drive to check some concerns I had. I can happily say that I now have a great auto machanic whom I feel comfortable going to. I highly recommend these guys! 👍

This is the second time I took my vehicle in to these guys and they took good care of me both times. The work was done right and at a fair price. I have a 99 Pathfinder that had some worn front end parts which I was quoted on and agreed to the price. Heres the good stuff I get a call the next morning and Gary tells me some of the parts had a life time warranty and he was able to get them for free WHAT!!!! Love this place . I had electrical issues with my vehicle. Went to several different mechanics and no one could figure out the issue. I was almost to the end of my rope when I found foreign automotive. Steve was able to find the issue in a timely manner and fixed it in a reasonable amount of time. Price was fair. Staff was great!

Before I even walked in, they spoke with me in great detail when I called ahead for a quote, answering all of my questions honestly and patiently. Steve & his team were wonderful back in early May of 2018 for my Lancer. My transmission had blown on Saturday morning, and after searching around for quotes from other auto shops in the area, Steve personally called me while he was at dinner with his family notifying me he had found a replacement transmission that would work for me car at a price I was able to agree on.His team made sure I had my vehicle in time in time for family and friends arriving before Memorial Day weekend. I went to this place with a Groupon for an oil change. I am so happy I did! They were awesome. They didnt try to sell me a bunch of extra stuff, they were kid friendly (they turned the TV on and let me change the channels to help me keep my kids occupied while we waited), and they were super friendly! I would recommend them to anyone!!!

This is a great place to go for all your repair needs. They can fix everything you need done, and they do it quickly too. I dropped my car off on Tuesday and it was done the next day after replacing a timing belt, water pump, rear shocks & struts, and fixing my exhaust header leak. Thats a lot of work in a short amount of time. I definitely recommend taking your car here, especially if you are a Subaru owner like myself. They even wash your car after they are done working on it. The owner is a great guy and easy to talk to. He will explain everything to you with no BS. I will definitely be bringing my car to Foreign Auto Specialists again.

I had a wonderful experience here! The service was fast and friendly and the facility was impressively clean. The mechanic came out and spoke with me personally about a couple of things that needed done apart from the oil change, like my filthy disgusting air filter that all the other shops didnt bother telling me about. On top of that they washed my car for free! Jen was very pleasant and personable with me and answered all of my questions. Foreign auto will be my number one go to from here on out! Honestly hands down the best mechanic Ive ever been to. The owner was the one working on my car (I have a Toyota Camry) he was very professional, patient, and courteous. At first it was just to have a routine check up and he found little problems on my car that could of been fatal. He let me watch and learn what was going on while he was working on my car. Full of knowledge and also he straightened my crooked steering wheel, and did a full alignment for a very far price. Im very impressed with the work done on my car, and I will be returning for any future work on my car. Excellent doesnt even describe the service! phenomenal is a better word.

The best auto repair shop I have dealt with in the last 10+ years. I have a 2009 Nissan Murano --- was about ready to give up on it and buy a used car after several places told me I had a transmission issue. I brought it here --- they took it in right away and an hour later knew what was wrong --- and told no transmission issue -- I had a torn boot causing power issues in my car. They fixed it and my Nissan is like brand new --- for much much much less than buying a used car. Then I had to get it emission tested -- and one of the sensors for emissions would not get to Ready status after the repairs. I brought the car back here -- and the owner personally drove my car up to his home in the mountains to evaluate the sensors --- brought it back the next day with the sensor cleared. He only charged me for the gas to drive it. They have won a customer as long as I live in this area --- I will take all of my cars here. They treat you very open and honest --- explain clearly what is wrong with the car --- and fair pricing. Very professional and great people.

My son has cancer and they all showed huge compassion to get my car but and running. I would come here anytime and we will bring my husbands car here too for oil change. I have never had a bad experience at a car place until I came here. I started my interlock services through this company, and the technician doesnt know what he is doing because my car had to be there over 9 hours just to install the interlock on my car. He messed it up twice and had to re-do it. Then my car wouldnt start two more times because of their installation job. I had to take my handset back and each time I did I was there for over an hour. Next, they hired a new front desk lady, and she is the RUDEST person I have EVER met in my whole life. I switched to a different interlock place because I would not support this awful business. The place I was going to was GREAT. But they ended up shutting their business down. I was forced to find another place to go to. I tried to call Foreign Automotive Specialists again to try to go there, and yet again the lady at the front was a total jerk over the phone and wouldnt let me schedule an appointment there. So frustrated with this company and would NEVER in a million years recommend them to anyone. They dont even deserve one star.

I came in for an alignment and an issue with my CEL. After going to the Mercedes Benz dealership, I realized that I could save money on the parts AND the labor by going to this team of specialists. They gave me great advice, and even saved me about $200 on new brakes and rotors. They work very fast, which can only save you more money in the cost of labor. I have a few other things to fix on the car, and I cant imagine sending the vehicle to anyone else. Staff at the front desk is amazing. Not only are they easy to talk to, but they are knowledgeable and very thorough in their explanations of what they will be working on and what costs to expect. Go to these guys FIRST, save some money and give business to a solid team.

These guys are a rip-off.After $1100 worth of service in April. I drove less than 2 miles from the shop and the check engine light came on - do you even check you work and drive the car after doing the work and clearing the code?Then I bring it in again, and $500 later, check engine light is off again, but comes on 24 hours later.Bring the car in again - zero communication all day. I wrote on the dropoff ticket that I would like a phone call so I could tell them how to reproduce the starting issue I was now having. I do food/pizza delivery for my 2nd job so I need a car that consistently starts - this was emphasized to them.Finally, I have to call at 3:30p to find out that that maybe, just maybe changing my fuel solenoid will fix the issue. Says the computer says the first thing to try is the fuel cap (good ole stereotypical fuel cap excuse). However, he says he honestly doesnt think its the fuel cap so Id probably be wasting more time/money. When I press him on the emissions code that I knew about, he argued with me about the code he was seeing until I asked him if the OReillys gentlemen lied to me. At that point, he knows that code. He knows all about that code and proceeds to cockily rattle off some bit of garbage about the emissions line probably being cracked because of that code. Also, threatened to charge me an hour of labor just for looking at the thing.I go get my daughter from school, go to pick my car up, and this jerk-off mid 20s kid is sitting in his seat, leaned back as far as he can, and states dead pan that hed try changing the fuel cap and itd be $40 and come back whenever youre ready for that. What a crock after telling me he honestly didnt think it was the issue on the phone. Whole time, the owner is sitting next to him and wont even look me in the face - probably knew he screwed me when I was explaining my hesitance dumping money into this thing $1600 earlier and that I might be better off trading it in or selling.TL:DR If you need anything done that isnt a straightforward fix, these guys cant help you. This place is a glorified Jiffy Lube that can change some partsP.S. These guys sell struts with a lifetime warranty...you just have to pay labor when they go bad which is why they love them. Basically, they have all the incentive to buy struts that go bad faster so they can get more labor out of you. Thats all that statement told me.

Was out of town with no money. This was the only mechanic available. Checked out my car and didnt charge me. Diagnosed the problem but put no pressure on me to fix sense it wasnt a problem that kept me from leaving town. Was very nice and informative and took the time to show me exactly what the problem was. Said prob was 1 engine mount. But turned out they were all bad. Charged only 1/2 hr. labor because theyd already quoted a price. Overall they were available, attentive, and friendly. Would recommend.

Very rude mechanic. Rushed me on the phone and was very unresponsive to my needs. I cant speak to their mechanical abilities per say, but rude is rude.

Dont trust them! My power steering went out. My first clue was the tech on the phone who didnt know a Prius didnt have a power steering pump but was an electrical mantle part. Once installed, Steve said the code reader said that if after 3 tries & wont calibrate, I needed a new motor for the power steering, for an additional $800 parts & labor. They either dont know what theyre doing, or were trying to charge me for repairs I didnt need. $1000+ later and my car still didnt run. I towed it to Japanese who DID have the Toyota tool, paid $160 more and it was fixed...without the additional parts & labor. I do not recommend this shop.

Tried to use a Groupon that was basically worthless: Groupon listing did not indicate required extra costs, nor that appointments for a simple oil change are required several days in advance – and the (rude) associate lied and said that Groupon prevented them from indicating these things. Ive been using Groupon for years and know better.

Ive been to them twice, once with an S-10, once with a Blazer, both times they did great work and went out of their way to make sure the work was done right. They even made sure I made it to work. Highly recommended.

“A shop that cares as much about the person behind the wheel as the car there servicing.”I went in to get an oil change and had a weird scraping noise coming from my drivers side rear rim.I ask while they had it on the lift if they could check and see what that was, thinking it may have been a piece of debris.10 minutes later the tech came out and asked me to come check out what they found.All four calipers bolts were loose but the back two had missing bolts completely and the sound I was here was the caliper rubbing the inside of my wheel gouging and huge scrape on the inside. If the caliper had jammed it could have jammed the wheel and I could have a had a real bad day in the future.The tech dug thru his own tool box and found similar bolts replacing them and tightening the others for the cost of my oil change (which is the most reasonable in town anyway).I really appreciate what these guys did and do and I have sent anyone in the area that needs service to these guys.Glad to have found a solid shop.

Very disappointed, doesnt even deserve 1 star. I took my sons vehicle there and told them that his check engine light was on and per the code from previous diagnostics, I had changed the specified part twice. Mechanic called and said I changed the wrong one. Well, $200 later, the same part changed, check engine light still on. Advised it was a transmission issue. Another shop told me this by email (after I had let this place change the sensor) without charge because they heard the part where I said that particular sensor had already been changed. So, now Im out $200 for absolutely no reason and my vehicle is still can not pass emissions. Thanks for taking advantage!!

The contents of Sarahs review are malicious and they are FALSE. Interlock devices are installed, removed and serviced here, however, our installations have never taken more than an hour and out of the many vehicles we have serviced, not ONE has come back for a reinstall. For those out there who do not know what an Interlock is, it is a device that is required by the DMV and State of Colorado for those convicted of a DUI to be installed in their vehicle and it is to be blown in before the vehicle will start. Having said that, her car might have not started because she had been drinking. We nor Guardian Interlock have no record of this Sarah Kelley. We take great pride in taking care of our customers and apologize to those that have been exposed to this. Thank you to our valued customers for your continued business.

Just moved out to the Denver area very recently, and with that comes a lot of necessary expenses. While trying to get settled and in to my new place and a new area I had a freak accident with my car. After an over night snow storm I got in my car real early to meet some friends and do some skiing. As I am about to pull into my friends house I drive down an unplowed road and run over some snow that had frozen over night. This caused my oil cooler and bolt to break causing a crack in the engine block. Bam, new engine needed. New to the area I didnt know where to go. I call Triple A to tow me away. I tell the driver my story, telling him I have no idea where to go. Immediately he recommends Foreign Automotive. He starts talking about how honest and good these guys are. I could only go by his opinion. So I said great lets go there. As soon as I get there, my car went up right away, they determined the problem and already had a solution for me and an engine lined up. I knew this wasnt going to be cheap, so I call my insurance company and when I told them what I needed, they were quick to say it was totaled and they probably wouldnt cover the damage but they would still come take a look at it. He said he wouldnt be able to come out till the following week. But the owner Steve said he would meet him the following day which was Saturday. Which to me was above and beyond what he needed to do. So I had to sweat it out the next 24 hours till the insurance company would call me and tell me if they would cover me or not. I finally get a call, with my fingers crossed and holding my breath he said Matt your a lucky man, we can cover you He went on to say that 90% of the time he would have deemed my car totaled. He told me I picked the right place to go to, and he didnt know any other places that would have done what Steve and the guys at Foreign Automotive did. And for that I am forever grateful. I live in Denver but after this experience and how great Steve and the team at Foreign Automotive were to me I will always go out of my way to get my car to them. I highly highly recommend these guys for anything you need done on your car. Very knowledgeable and most importantly HONEST!!!

We attempted to have a new muffler installed and an alignment done on our car with a 1 inch drop. These guys happily took our money and then informed us afterwards they wouldnt install the muffler we provided, which they then stole from the trunk, and that they couldnt do the alignment because of the lowering, which has never been an issue on the car before. When I called to talk about fixing the problem I was put on hold where they forgot I was on the line and started talking bad about me and my girlfriend for wanting them to do their job. I went in the next day to speak with the owner about a refund for the work they didnt do and he immediately started screaming and threatening to call the police if I didnt leave after making the ludicrous request for him to refund our money since they are incapable of the work. He never called the police and instead issued a partial refund while continuing to berate me after I pointed out how unethical he was being by accepting payment for a job his team could not do.I will not only never give this shop any money again, but I will explicitly tell people to avoid them, and will no longer brake if I see the owner walking in a crosswalk. Greedy, incompetent, rude, thieving, and poor workmanship.

First time taking my Jetta in. Service was very prompt and professional (one day fix!). The estimated price to replace my timing belt came very close to the actual price. The difference was due to the fact that I needed a unforseen repair to the cooling system. I received a call about what was wrong along with the price before the work was done.I would not hesitate to bring my vehicle back for repairs in the future.

Eddie, the Master Technician rudely informed me that I wasnt able to watch my cars oil and oil filter being changed. He insisted that no mechanic or auto shop would allow such a thing. This was innately untrue. I informed him that I would be taking my business elsewhere, and was apologized to by the receptionist, who had no power over the situation.Poor customer service, and untrustworthy workers. Drivers beware.

Called them for a quote on a wheel stud replacement and I was rushed off the phone with out a true quote. Then after taking my car to somewhere else I get a call apologizing for the phone call. Which was well and good but the second I mentioned his quote it jumped to over 300. The reply I got from him was well I had been wondering if you wanted to bring it to a pro shop not a discount shop. 300 is double than anywhere else would charge. Then he said goodbye and hung up on me before I could say it back. Prices are one thing but to act like a child when you dont get someones business is ridiculous.

Found FAST on Groupon when the Jeep dealership wanted to charge me a stupid amount of money to fix my AC. I live downtown Denver so Broomfield is quite a hike for me but when Jeep surprisingly enough wanted to charge me an asinine amount of money to fix my car again I thought of Foreign Automotive. I called and told them what I needed, they offered to give me quote before hearing what Jeep wanted to charge me. They saved me $1000 dollars!! Not only did they save me money but Steve took pictures and showed me exactly what and how he fixed my car!! I dont usually write reviews but this definitely deserved one. Steve, Titus and Chris were very helpful and will definitely be getting my business again. Oh and I even have a credit for a carwash because it snowed today! Hell yea! :) Thanks guys, job well done!

I purchased a Groupon deal for $14 thinking what a great oil change deal; but I forgot to read the real small print where it says: Extra fee may apply for filter change. Now that is my own fault, but I question why there has to be an additional charge for an oil filter. I am no automotive genius, but shouldnt an oil change include a new filter? Or is there some new way of providing an oil change?An oil change, in my book, normally includes an oil filter, unless you have some exotic brand of automobile, such as a Ferrari or similar model. I have just a plain Toyota Corolla.At any rate, the great deal was wiped away by the additional $8.42 charge. Which is a sneaky way of them getting exactly the amount they charge for a normal oil change.Service was fine, and they were cordial, but needless to say, I wont be a repeat customer because I dont appreciate underhanded business practices. To me this was underhanded because of the manner in which they get exactly their normal fee for an oil change while trying to pass it off on Groupon as a deal.Their deal qualifies as a classic bait and switch.

One of the worst mechanics I have ever visited.-Bought the AC service inspection Groupon for Foreign Automotive.-Mechanic had my vehicle for 3 days for a standard AC inspection/diagnosis(usual time 1-4 hours)-Tried to add on several fees to my total, even though it was ALL included in the Groupon.-Was told several different stories of why the process was taking 3 days to complete by several different people.-On third day they stated it would take a additional 2 days to complete the repairs. Communicated to mechanic I did not feel comfortable moving forward with all of the problems/issues/delays I had encountered.-Went in to pick up my vehicle, was told I had to pay the extra fees or they would impound my vehicle and charge me late fees/storage fees(even though all the work performed was included in the Groupon-Jen the front counter associate did not even know what was on the Groupon/what was included)-When we called Broomfield Police in their lobby they promptly returned the vehicle-They tried very hard to try to get me to refund my Groupon so that I would not leave Negative Feedback for the transaction-which I know now is a standard practice with Foreign Automotive-Would NEVER recommend/use their services to anyone

Their front desk was rude and unhelpful and when I questioned them they refused to provide service for my vehicle. This was for the best though, as I would not trust them with my car after having been treated so poorly at the front desk.

Stay away at all costs.Stay away at all costs.Before I went to Foreign Automotive Specialist Team (FAST) with a Groupon for a deal on an oil change, I locked $550 of recently withdrawn money in my glove compartment. I felt comfortable doing so based on the BBB decal proudly displayed in the store window, and the BBB plaque displayed inside. When I returned to pick up my car, this money had disappeared.The manager originally promised that the money would be found, and if not, he would personally reimburse me for the lost $550.The money was not found. The owner had misplaced trust in his employees, and after halfheartedly searching the pockets of his mechanics, turned me away $550 in the hole. The manager reneged on his offer to reimburse me.Additionally, FAST is offering the discounted Groupon rate on their oil changes without the actual purchase of a Groupon. This is something, while helpful to the consumer, that is extremely shady and dishonest--behavior unbefitting a BBB acclaimed business. The free car wash included with my oil change wasnt given to me until I asked. I was surprised, after walking to my car, to see that one side was still lathered with soap, and had to ask AGAIN to get my complimentary car wash finished.The icing on the cake is that FAST is, in fact, NOT a BBB accredited business. Check the website. The decal in their window gave me trust in a company that is nothing short of criminal. I have been reading other online reviews; it seems that I am not the first person to have something stolen from my vehicle during FASTs repairs.

They are a scam they will take the easy job and offer it to you first!! Do not go here unless u wanna be dealing with them for 3 weeks

Friendly staff, worked around giving me a ride, my issue was up-charging me like $60 for 2 small plastic caps that required no tools, just hand tightened and were easy to reach. Meaning the labor they charged for screwing those on was ridiculous
