A little intimidating taking apart my new truck but once you get over that it was pretty easy. Works like a champ. Factory nav is great. Android auto is amazing. Mirroring is a must have. Anyone without these things is missing out...its a whole new truck and I have had it two months. Love it. Fantastic.

Great product, Installed in my Escalade in about 45 minutes. Easy to operate and works perfectly. If I could change anything about it, I would change the price. I even got it on sale and felt it could be $50 cheaper and it would be a great value. However, I did get great pre purchase advice on the phone and don’t mind paying a little extra for knowledgeable advice.

I bought one of their i05 kits for my 2015 Tahoe that came with a 4 screen(i03).Their video made it so easy to do. I soldered everything just like they did. It worked perfectly!! No issues at all that some others have had. Just follow the directions like they tell you. If you solder it will work flawlessly.

I ordered two modules, one to add CarPlay to my stock radio, the other to add Nav to my stock radio. Watched the videos of the install and figured it wouldn’t take long but was surprised, the install was done in about 10-15 minutes for both modules and I had my dash back together. Started my truck to test the units and they worked like it came from the factory, no issues and I am completely satisfied. The items were well worth the money, and I plan to buy more item from MVI as soon as I can.Highly recommend these guys, you won’t be disappointed!!

I upgraded my 2014 Silverado to the carplay model. The install was super easy and the new unit works very well. There is a seemless transition to the upgraded unit, and you can keep all of the same features with the truck. I am very happy with the upgrade.

Ordered a Factory Navigation System for my 2012 Buick Lacrosse. Received it earlier than expected (I gave wrong info of my email address, imagine my surprise when FedEx attempted to deliver and no one was home)!So was delivered next day, they text the installation video to me and installed the Navigation system with ease! I am very happy with the MyLink upgrade that I bought for my Chevy Colorado. While the GM strike slowed delivery on some of the things needed for the XM portion, it was actually a blessing in disguise.I am a retired Electrical Engineer, and tend to be OCD when it comes to electrical installations & upgrades. The delay in receiving the parts gave me time to study the system and create my own custom harness for this system.Now that installation is complete, Im happy to report that the system is working perfectly with no hiccups at all.Thank you MVI for the personal and responsive assistance when questions arose. Id like to think that it was a positive and learning experience for both MVI and myself.

If you bought or own a GM product with a cheap entry level radio and would like a direct replacement with all the bells and whistles these guys have what you are looking for! I bought a 2017 Colorado base truck which had everything i wanted but the radio. Contacted MVI and they offered the My Link radio with Car Play and The GPS radio. i chose the My Link with Car Play. This was a newly available upgrade so they explained that they would need about 10 business day as they would have to make a harness. No fear if you do business with them on line or over the phone. It took about 11 days, but it was well worth the wait. I installed it my self in about a couple of hours. I had a problem with 2 plugs and they texted me with what i needed to do and what a difference. Because of the ease of installation the price wasnt bad in comparison to after market. The personnel were great to work with and the radio and vehicle features work great with out cutting or buying modules. Thanks Guys!! Well Done!!

Quick, efficient, easy to contact and get information and they do great work. I texted Anthony several times about what I wanted and he responded quickly and positively every time. He answered all my questions and I ordered the updated HMI unit and radio tuner for my 2015 C7 Corvette Stingray convertible in order to get Apple car play. Anthony upgraded my 2015 Silverado w/t I03 four inch radio to a I05 eight inch touch screen radio.I now have Bluetooth, backup camera, satellite radio, Pandora and six speakers playing. The I03 was only using four of them.The Chevrolet dealership said this couldnt be done but Anthony proved them wrong.Thanks for making this upgrade happen, I now have a radio to brag about.

All you really need to do is find the correct power wire . the rest connects to itself, Plenty of wire .

Purchased a 2014 Cadillac SRX OEM navigation upgrade from MVI for my wifes car. Shipping was fast and all parts were included on the 1st shot. Installation was straight forward, but not for the faint at heart if you have any doubts about your abilities. Took about 2 hours to complete and only wish I was a foot shorter, as getting under the dash for a tall person is a feat. Be sure to have the plastic dash tools and metric sockets prior to attempting this job and you wouldnt have any problems.The video link provided opened a YouTube video, but the video quality is not the best I have seen on YouTube.Upon completion, started the car and the Navigation came on with zero problems, like it had been directly from the factory. Wife is super happy with the modification and bottom line, thats what counts.Would not hesitate to order from MVI again, if the need arises. Well done and thank you.Bill C.

I bought a carplay/ android auto upgrade for my 2015 sierra and overall couldnt be happier with the experience, all around they have a great thing going. Didnt need tech support so I cant attest to that, but I got quick responses even on the weekend when I had questions about the product before ordering and they really take the time to make sure the buying experience is completely hassle free. Estimated install time was 1 hour or less and thanks to the way they program and package everything I got the entire process done in 20 minutes. Android auto works great, my entire intellilink was updated to the newest version, worked with my s9+ right out of the box, and the new usb module even retained my factory aux port, which many other companies that sell these modules dont include. So that was a great surprise to have as I still use an old ipod classic. Was hesitant to spend any money on just an android auto upgrade, but it is well worth every cent and you cant go wrong buying from these guys.

Dealing with these guys was great. Very helpful to the end of our install. Product I got was incredible. Smartphone mirroring, navi unlock and video in motion. I was wanting to get an after market DVD navi since I bought my new 2015 canyon. For 2 years I was pondering which to get when I came upon MVI. Was worried about losing screen size, on star, vehicle diagnostic, steering wheel control etc. Or it not working right. This was the solution for me. Nothing changes you just add these great features. And works flawlessly. I would recommend these products highly to anyone.

I recently purchased a used 2014 SRX too find out that it did not have navigation although the dealer told us it did. It actually had OnStar, hardly navigation if you own one of these cars, you know what Im talking about. Then I found MVI on line. If everything they said was true, I felt I should check these guys out. I took a chance and ordered my factory OEM navigation from them and actually put it in myself. Took about 3 hours. Works absolutely perfect. Factory Navigation! All other features still work flawlessly as they have originally. Anthony was helpful, responsive and even followed up with me to see how it was going. I ordered it one day, had it 2 days later. Fantastic experience. If your story is like mine, dont look any further. This will solve your frustration.

I was told on multiple occasions by different Cadillac dealerships that I could not upgrade my 2015 Cadillac XTS navigation to CarPlay, instead I would need to trade for a 2016 which had CarPlay. I wasn’t interested in trading 6 months after purchasing my car! Through trial and error and lots of googling, I found MVI. The entire experience met and exceeded (multiple times over) my pleasure doing business with them. Anthony was my go to guy and he really took care of me. Have a 2015 that had a 4 inch screen now with the upgrade to 8 inch it look great THEY ARE BETTER THEN A AFTER MARKET RADIO IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS OR ISSUES THEY ARE THERE TO HELP VERY GLAD TO HAVE FOUND OUT ABOUT THEM WILL BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.

So I researched upgrading my trucks basic radio with the 8 touch screen and back up camera. After months of research there were still a few questions I couldnt find any definitive answer to. I decided to contact Anthony at MVI. Not only did he answer all my questions, he answered them in great detail and even provided videos of install and checking for prewiring of backup camera. I immediately ordered the kit. It was at my door in 8 days. Ready to install. I immediately jumped into installing it using his video specifically made for my type of upgrade. I had not taken any of this new truck apart before and was able to install it in 2 hours from uboxing to being completely installed and cleaned up.If you are even considering upgrading any electronics in your truck/SUV, stop considering and contact MVI IMMEDIATELY, you will it regret your decision.

Was told by dealer that truck( a 2016 gmc sierra) had android auto-apple carplay, but this turned out to be false--then was told it couldnt be done. After contacting mvi, found out it could be done, and could also add nav at the same time. there was a mix-up in billing, but this was corrected.the service was fast,installation videos are outstanding and everything works like a charm, and i couldnt be happier. forget your dealer--they dont have a clue--just deal with these guys, its way easier and less frustrating. also have to add that i am from Canada, and there was absolutely no problem with the cross border transaction.

I wanted to update one of my work trucks from IO3 to Io5. After the stealership told me it could not be done I ran across MVI. At first I tried email and got no where but once I was able to get someone on the phone it went well. They shipped out everything I needed to add to my truck to get Io5 and Carplay installed. The videos provided were spot on and made installation that much easier. From start to finish I did my install in about 1 to 1.5 hours as I had the proper tools to pull the dash and other panels off without leaving peckertracks on anything. The soldering took the longest up under the dash. The price isnt for the faint of heart but after buying 3 new work trucks that had Carplay in then it was worth it to me for the abilities it has and to know my guys have better options to not text/drive.

Hands down the best aftermarket interface products for av integration out there. I leveraged unlock and DVD upgrade, but to keep the truck together Anthony preprogrammed the Hmi and the screen and sent requesting my cores back. Truck was literally apart for 40 minutes under diy install. If you need anything av, start at mvi inc.

Recently decided to do an I04 to I06 upgrade in my 2015 Silverado 2500HD. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong company (Digital Dash Solutions) to do the HMI module programming.After having a couple issues with the setup, I spoke to Anthony at MVI/Autospa and he offered to help where the other company was lost. Setting me up with the exact parts I needed to get my trucks radio 100% functional. Unlike the other guys, who simply told me to kick rocks.It goes to show the guys at MVI have done their research and know the the products / programming they offer and are fully capable of offering GREAT customer after-sale support.At the end of the day, id HIGHLY suggest skipping over Digital Dash Solutions and going directly to Anthony at MVI! I know I will, especially when it comes time to program my new instrument cluster. These guys are top notch compared to the competition!

The team at MVI was great! They helped me upgrade my 2015 Silverado to factory navigation with Apple Carplay. The parts were nationally back ordered when I ordered, but they arrived earlier than the date MVI said they would ship. I was a little nervous about having to take a few things apart to install the parts, but the instructions and video links made the installation very easy with no issues. They send you a video after you finalize your purchase showing the installation and what tools you will need. I spent $12-$15 on amazon for a pick tool set and a plastic dash pulling tool set and things went very well! I truly have no complaints! I highly recommend MVI!

Purchased GM factory nav & b/u camera, would have cost me $5M upgrade pkg on 2014 CTS. Must remove many panels to install, model-specific instructions hard to find, even for pro installer, and instructions recvd were poor, but when finally got all finished, was happy.

I recently purchased an upgraded radio system from MVI for my 2014 Silverado Work Truck. What these means is my truck has the most basic radio offered from GM. It has nothing to but a basic radio AM/FM radioWhat I upgraded to was the 8 screen with XM radio, HD Radio, Bluetooth, Hands Free Calling, Voice Activation and the main reason I purchased the system Apple Carplay and Andriod Auto. The guys at MVI explained this could be done with ease! I was a bit skeptical as it seemed impossible but they assured me it could be done.I placed my order and began watching the installation video every night. I could not believe it was such a basic installation. With just basic tools I was able to have the system installed at home in about a hours time.The customer service was top notched every step of the way. I sent Anthony text messages and he responded promptly to my questions every time. Even when I got stuck on the installation on a Saturday he was answering my questions allowing me to put in the system.If you want to upgrade your factory radio with factory parts this is the place to go. Ok if you have never dealt with these guys, they are great. I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado LT with 4.2 screen...Base functionality. When I asked the service guy if he could find out what it would take to upgrade my 4.2 to 8, he came back and stated it couldnt be done to my vehicle. Well after some looking around and reading reviews and post, I contacted MVI as they had the best reviews, the reviews couldnt be more right for what I have read. Not only did they fix my up on 8 screen but also lead me in the right direction to check to see if I had the pre-wired capability to add backup camera as well. Well Low and Behold, the direction they took me in verified I can have OEM backup camera (which I just ordered myself and added/replaced tailgate handle for accommodate for this). Then informed the guys at MVI about the new OEM backup camera, purchased the new 8 + HMI updated programmed module and WAH-LAH, now have backup camera + 8 screen abilities. You will not want to deal with another company once you get in contact with these guys. They lead you in the right direction and have fast accurate information and service. I have had to do some work and research to make sure I had the pre-wired setup for the OEM backup camera, which I really wanted. I am serious about this post though, these guys are good.

This product is truly a factory plug and play. No splicing, no aftermarket boxes that have to fool your computers.They have two sets of numbers, a shop number that is manned sometimes, but the text number which will get you full tech and sales support with in minutes of not immediately. This was great during installation as I had a few questions about the install instructions.Simply the best way to add navigation and to do the navigation and video unlock!I have a 2015i GMC Yukon Denali Xl...The nav unlock is how these systems should come from the factory. Now whoever is sitting in the passenger seat can program the nav while moving instead of having to pull over!!! Awesome!!!I also did the video in motion and it was a great thing to have. We have the roof screens for the rear seats, but when they are down the driver cant use the rear view mirror. We threw the movie up on the front screen and my wife sat in the back seat with the toddler and watch tv for the drive down to Disneyland. They were entertained and I could use my mirrors!!!Again! This was all factory equipment! So no splicing and no aftermarket kits that have questionable manufacturing!!! Awesome!!!

I originally purchased my io6 upgrade from some other company, BIG MISTAKE! system did not work and other company was clueless, they just kept blaming my truck and had no fix. I got ahold of mvi, and Anthony was AWESOME . He worked with me and he found a solution he even sent me out a harness made to fix just for me. I have a 2015 Silverado work truck, single cab. Had no back up camera but I did have the mylink io4, 4.3 screen. Texted Anthony and after checking with my trucks rear harness we found that my truck was pre wired for back up camera. I ordered a tailgate handle with built in camera, a reprogramed Hmi module and a plug and play harness to reconnect bluetooth. I installed my self (not a tech savy person) within an hour. After completed, it worked as it should. Anthony was there via text to answer all my silly questions and I saved my self a few hundred bucks by doing my self.It looks and works as if it was factory installed.Thank you Anthony for winning my trust for any future purchases.
