Kevin is very knowledgable about motorcycles and provides AMAZING service. He’s easy to talk to, good listener and has always helped me with any of my motorcycle needs. He even ordered a part from Germany for me which I’m grateful for. If you want quality and affordable work, go here.
Kevin has crazy depth and knowledge, and is honest to a fault. He protects my wallet and fixes my rides. Cant recommend Mayers highly enough!
Amazing service, helped out when no one else would, got what I needed done faster than I thought, super friendly!!
Horrible customer service and horrible work ethic. Don’t recommend coming here
I trust my bike in the capable hands here. Honest, fair, the work is solid.
Great service! Good job guys
The owner is helpful and very honest.
Stopped in to ask a couple questions about my motorcycle giving me problems on the way home he came out let me use a couple tools and gave me a little bit of advice about what he thinks was the problem very nice decent group of guys
Great place to go to to get your motorcycle/scooter fixed, looked at. Kevin is a great knowledgeable man who can help with alot of things. Staff is very friendly and helpful. This business is a great environment i would definitely recommend to any and all motorcycle enthusiasts to stop by and check it out. Thanks for all the great work you do Kevin keep at it.
I was very happy with the service.Kevin was very knowledgeable and helpful when fixing my motorcycle.
Dont even get me started. Not a classy business owner thats for sure. Unprofessional to say the least and I wouldnt say youll even get a fair job done. Lack of communication and organization. Feel like I was robbed of my money. Not to mention in a bad mood after I was yelled at and told I was wrong just make sure YOU as the customer make things clear by writing on the paperwork before leaving your motorcycle.
Mayers Motorcycles provides exceptional quality service and conscientious work. When I called, Kevin told me the date to bring in my motorcycle and what would need to be completed, which speaks to his honesty and professional attitude. The bike was finished when they promised with very reasonable rates and runs great. They also provided a comprehensive engine servicing and verified the brakes, tires, and fluid levels with details of what I will need in the near future. I would highly recommend taking your motorcycle, scooter, ATV, or OHV to Mayers Motorcycles for A+ service. You will not be disappointed!
Just bought gloves from this guy trying to support small businesses, got home and one gloves has torn stiches, guy wouldnt let return them for new pair, gave me the run around that he inspected them, treated me as i sabotage them, comon dude i just paid 60bucks for those gloves( so much for being key customer service) should have know better!UPADATE!Just got a call from kevin hes trying to tell me i can bring back the gloves and get half my money back and a discount on a larger pair, its ok dude im a strong believer in Karma!! if i ripped them im man enough to say i ripped you wont get any more business from me
Dustin and I always love coming in to say hi to Kevin and to buy parts. Kevins a really knowledgeable man and very passionate about what he does. Hes always extremely helpful and funny.
My husband found this place near our home when looking for his first motorcycle purchase. It was nice to talk to Kevin, the owner, who took a lot of time talking with us and giving us information about owning a motorcycle. His prices are very reasonable and he is a very honest, Christian man. It was a pleasure to give him our business. Once we purchased a cycle, he coached my husband on how to ride it and he even drove it to our home since my husband wasnt comfortable riding it home in traffic yet. Kevin also repairs cycles, so we are happy to have somewhere to take our cycle should it ever need work. He has numerous motorcycle catalogues that you can order any kind of equipment like helmets and outer safety gear. Its nice to find another human that puts other human beings over making money. Great business that I highly recommend if you need repair or want to buy a motorcycle or scooter.
They do pretty good work and I dont have any complaints except for one major one. I cannot bring my own parts to have them installed due to some insurance quirk. This has me doing more and more of my own work which I suppose is a good thing but its unfortunate because causes me to be a Grease Monkey instead of a motorcycle rider. There is no Suzuki branded dealership within 25 miles of my house anymore, so this place makes a good alternative at 9 miles away.
Incredibly unpleased. The shop does not respond to phone calls, and their service and refund policies are ridiculous.Called several days ago to get tires, they took a message and promised to call me back.I called back about two hours after I was supposed to have had a phone response, and finally got to talk to someone. They were able to order the tires I needed, but wanted to charge me $100 in advance. Okay, fine. They told me the tires would be in Tuesday (now, today), and that I could bring the bike by then.I call at 4:00pm to confirm that they will be able to get the tires mounted, and am told I will get a callback. I arrive at the shop at 5:30 to get the tires mounted. For a small shop, the owner (who I apparently talked to on the phone) has no memory of me whatsoever.About 10 minutes of waiting later, I finally find out that not only does he not have any memory of me, the tires arent going to be in until tomorrow. He tells me that I can drop the bike off tomorrow evening, and THEN I have to leave the bike with him all day while he gets the tires mounted.I ask him if theres another time I could drop the bike off, so that I can get service the same day. He says Id have to leave the bike with him overnight no matter what, and that Id be hard-pressed to find another shop that would do it same day (an outright lie). I tell him I want to cancel the order, and would like a refund. He tells me hell only be able to refund me $50 of the initial $100 I left with him.Even after I agree to the refund, he claims hes having trouble with the card reader and asks me what I want to do, I tell him that this shop is the very first time ever that I would have to leave a motorcycle overnight for tires, and I want a refund. Finally, after some heel dragging, he finally runs the refund. So, after wasting almost an hour at their shop all in all, Im $50 lighter and I still need tires.
Having work done on my Harley was a great experience. Went above and beyond my expectations and told me a bunch of maintenance tips. Will definitely be back.
Awesome bike shop. Not the largest selection around, but they have what I would consider good quality bikes. Kevin is very knowledgeable and has some very talented mechanics. I wouldnt hesitate to take my bikes here for maintenance, repairs, etc.
Found a great first bike here. Great price from the beginning. Really friendly staff and great interactions with my purchase.
I dig this place. Small, local, privately owned shop with a friendly crew, quality work and decent pricing. Im glad to have this option in my neighborhood! Thanks guys!
While I wasnt able to buy a bike from Kevin, I wish I could have. He was absolutely great. Very friendly and receptive. He will always be my first stop when looking for a bike, accessories, or maintenance!
I called to have some rollers on my Polaris clutch swapped out. She informed me that they were booked for 3 weeks out and dont allow customer supplied parts. I asked if they could just crack the spider loose for me and I could take it home to swap the rollers, then bring it back to have it tightened real quick. And they said they dont have time. If a shop doesnt have 2 minutes of their time to tighten something up for me(With me paying of course) then this isnt a place I want to bring my machines. Also the lady on the phone seemed very rushed.
Had my bike in for new tires instal. Very happy with the quality of workmanship and quick turnaround. Great customer service as well. Highly recommend.
Our 2002 Yamaha Vino had been in storage for 5 years, and gathered more dust than mileage. Kevin not only tuned everything up, he also rebuilt the carburetor to get the scooter running again. He is friendly and professional. The service charge was very reasonable; we will definitely go back to see Kevin for anything else related to this scooter.
Its been over a year since I had this shop work on my bike. Had a new KLR 650 that needed new tires. Took it here to get them done. Nice enough guys but the mechanic tells me my valves need to be adjusted because he couldnt wheelie my new bike in the parking lot? What? I then chose to have all maintenance done at the dealership. When it was time for the valve adjustment maintenance the dealership checked the adjustment of all the valves and all were within specs and needed no adjustment. Since that time Ive stayed with dealership maintenance and have been very happy. I also, bought a used KTM 1290 2015 with 2500 miles on it from the largest used motorcyle dealership in town in Lakewood and had a great experience there. Would have given you my business but just couldnt do it. Why would your mechanic attempt to wheelie my bike when I brought it in for tires and then tell me it needs a valve adjustment it didnt need? You guys are so much closer to home, wish you were running a professional shop. Ive waited to write this review because it was such an infuriating experience. Didnt want to write in anger just wanted to give an honest experience. I hope you can learn from this and work on running a more professional operation, who lets their mechanic wheelie customer bike, its a huge liability when it gets crashed? No hard feelings but customers should know what theyre getting into if they go here.
Dumb Founded as a Consignor, We purchased a Consigned Harley, Kevin knew some history of the bike but we feel ripped off due to the fact that the bike always had to be jump started, hes a weasel because he said that he had numerous people who were interested in this bike, but according to the owner he was in aware of this. this bike was to have a new battery as well as other things done at Mayer but after 2 weeks of owning this bike it cost us $5000.00 to repair, Kevin did suggest that we have the tension cam checked which the shown many other problems. My issue is if your mechanics did work on this bike then Kevin would have known these things. When we went to title and license the bike Kevin wrote in the mileage but wrote over a number on the back but put 0 (zero) miles on the front, which had us now jumping through hoops. Very displeased in this shop and the knowledge of this owner as this is his :profession:. No references will ever be given other than our personal experience and the shottiness of the shop.
Great service, fair prices
Kevin Mayer is very knowledgeable about all types of motorcycles. Very social and friendly. Thoroughly enjoy my visits with him.
I bought a Yamaha FZ09 from Mayers and have so far had 0 problems with my new bike. The buying process went super smooth from a testride to paperwork and out the door. The guys here are super friendly and make you feel more welcome than at a big motorcycle dealer. Definitely coming back when I need new tires.
Paid Kevin $500 to change all my fluids, battery, and check everything on my ‘02 Harley at the start of 2018.I don’t ride often but my bike would not start, spark plugs were shot, battery could not hold a charge.Should not have been like that, makes me question if the work was really done to my bike.Wouldn’t take my bike back there again, even if Kevin or his administrative staff actually returned phone calls.
Kevins awesome! He just waved his wrench around and said, sha la kazaam! Like magic my bike was brand new again! Kevin is a busy man so make sure you call him first.
Never Again- They just charged me $100 to clean an air filter on a Sportster. I had hoped to support a local indy shop, but that is absolutely insane.
The shop is good and the owner knows the job .
Great prices on motorcycles. Good mechanic. Very friendly.
Great service and good prices. Kevin was very helpful and I will certainly be a return customer
I have been part of the wonderful motorcycle community since my early teens, almost 30 years. And used to take my bike for the last 16 years to places in Boulder, including the Powersports place on 55th in Boulder, which for good reasons keeps changing ownership and names. The last straw was when they literally endangered my life by screwing up a tire job and wouldnt own up to it.At Mayers I have had only great experiences in the three years of going there, and the owner Kevin truly cares about his customers and their experience with him but also with their motorcycle. You mainly deal with him, and that shows and is definitely the strength of a smaller place (the bigger the place the more it depends on its weakest employee). So far all the work has been stellar (I have had repairs and maintenance done) and even if that is not the case at some point in the future, which is to be expected because we are all human, I know he will make it right when approached about it.A lot of customers (which it seems like from some of the negative reviews, which are very few) and then some companies are unreasonable with their expectations, and all we as customers need is to have a shop that makes sure the work is done right and if not reasonable steps are taken to fix whatever is wrong.I have full confidence that will be the case, and I can only and highly recommend Mayers for all your motorcycle needs. The nice thing too is that they are not brand specific, I have seen them work on Ducatis, KTMs, BMWs, Hondas, my Suzuki, etc.
Amazing place with very helpful people, they always make you feel like family. Ill always recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a motorcycle, get theres fixed, or if they just need parts
Kevin and his team are great! They are honest, trustworthy, and passionate.
Excellent experience. Great to work with.
Came in to try to buy a motorcycle sitting on the showroom floor. Girl working couldnt help, other than take my name and number down for the salesman to call. I call the next morning numerous times during business hours and leave a message. Never received a call back from leaving my number in person or in a message.
Knowledgeable and friendly owner.
Friendly knowledgeable staff
Nice people
