We live in Johnstown, and we love coming south to visit this grocery store. VERY decent size for specialty shop. My 9 and 11 year olds have a blast exploring the entire aisle devoted to Ramen and nobodies and picking new items to try. GREAT frozen sell selections of pre-made buns etc. Fun non perishable cooking goods, snacks, preserves, teas, sweets....etc... Get the roast pork and sesame balls from deli. The duck is great too but reheat to recrisp. Good selection of dish ware and coming utensils.Picrured.... Pork from the hanging roast pig

This was our first time in. I thought the selection was pretty amazing. The place was clean and bright and not too busy when we went on a Saturday afternoon. Mostly we ended up buying candy and ramen, but I will go back for spices and fresh veggies when I need them.

I love going to Pacific Ocean Marketplace and learning about vegetables and fruits from other countries. Sometimes, the veggie prices are lower than what I pay at my store.Pacific Ocean Marketplace has a fish market, but it has a funk and I wonder just how clean it is. Luckily, there is a wide variety of frozen fish. There are lots of different teas. Also, theres a section for asian holiday goodies. There is a wide variety of fresh noodles in a cooler near the produce section. There is a kitchenware section with all sorts of utensils and plates. Lots of canned fruits, veggies, and sauces. The ladies room was okay. The cashiers and other employees arent terribly friendly.

Think King Soopers for Asian Food and thats what this place is like. Complete with bakery and deli. Great deli sandwiches: BBQ pork on a french roll with cilantro, jalapenos, cole slaw vegetables is awesomely good and not expensive. Communications can be challenging but be nice, patient, and try phrasing your questions in different ways if you are not understood. Produce area has a large variety of items that are not found elsewhere. Really like their bakery too, many little sweet treats. I swear there is a whole aisle just devoted to soy sauces! Always a fun place to visit and look at things, and I always buy too much. They also have a similar store south on Alameda a few blocks east of Federal.

Becareful with the cashier. You should check the receipt before going home. Last month the cashier put 29 item instead of 2. Fortunately I see her mistake. This month I have items that I have not buy..I never check the weight after shopping but because of the fraud, I checked them one by one. Lol.. The weight is accurate.I usually bought from POM Aurora (we live in Fort Collins) and just two times went here but the two times experience makes me think twice to shop here again. Better find another asian market or go to Aurora (more fresh products, more varieties products, yet far away from my place)

I came here for some Asian groceries, and theres quite a good amount of choices. The produce isnt super fresh, and getting some good Chinese eggplant was challenging; tomatoes were also too soft. This little market is full of diverse items. I would say its a really good place for Vietnamese and Filipino items. Not so much for Korean (but you can go to h mart for that).Number one feature for me is the little cafeteria/deli area inside! I got 1/2 lb of bbq pork from the case and some bbq pork spring rolls. They taste amazing. And honestly, its a little cold - but you dont have to reheat it for it to taste good.

They have a great selection of Asian food products. However, they have expired goods that they sell on the shelves. You have to be very careful, and check all expiry dates on packages. Its disappointing that the quality is so low, and we drove 2 hours to get there. Not worth the trip at all!!

Update: they no longer carry vegan imitation chicken ham. Still 5 stars but my heart is absolutely shattered.Lovely pan-Asian grocer, excellent prices on fresh produce and fish. Our personal fave is the vegan imitation chicken ham in the frozen section, a girthy log of savory delight, studded with texturized bumps and loaded with umami for extra pleasure. Nothing beats coming home from a long day at the click mines to a hot roll of moist (imitation vegan) meat. Staff are always very pleasant, you are going to have to scrutinize a bunch of packaging if you are not familiar with, well, all of Asian cuisine. The instant noodles section is also super nice. And they sell little quail eggs, and are very strict adherers to the best COVID-19 safety practices. If I catch you in this store without a mask, youre gonna have a hard time.

I love this place. Im willing to drive all the way down from Fort Collins just to stock up on hard-to-find ingredients. Excellent selection of Southeast and East Asian items, as well as some South Asian. Produce is generally good quality and highly varied. Havent bought much meat but both times I have its been good quality. Great selection of spices. Prices range from excellent to fair. Overall a great value. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that theres a LOT of expired items on the shelves, especially lower turnover items. You really need to look at expiration dates here unfortunately. Ive found many items that are expired by a year or more and even once found a rotten fish packed 6, yes 6, years ago still on the shelf. As long as you remain vigilant of expiration dates Pacific Ocean Marketplace is an excellent place to shop.

Not only their horrible hygiene but this super rude staff. The staff yelled at me when I just went in just to get groceries. If this company was a larger corporation they’d be sued by now. I don’t understand how they are still in business. Their food is always expired from months on end. Every time I walk into that store I smell old fish flesh and want to vomit. This supermarket is very unsanitary from the muddy bathrooms to horrible judgement we received from staff members. I highly suggest you go to some other asian market such as HMART.
