Always great prices but sometimes their selection is pretty poor. They cant do anything about shipment times but they do have the ability to take expired items off the shelves. Especially in the meats, cheeses and fish section. A brown salmon, or dark brown (red) meat should not be left in the available selection shelves. Other than that, staff is helpful and usually available for assistance.

The Lawrence Park acme has some of the nicest employees. John walked me thru the store because I asked where the bathroom was and the main store bathrooms were being cleaned, and Donna, the day of my wedding, helped carry 2 cakes to my car and said she was not allowed to accept tips. I was so impressed with this Acme Im going to wrote a letter to the corporate headquarters. Thank you for restoring my faith in customer service!

Some really nice people work here but dont expect 2 cashiers to be on a register on any day. This store need to be your last resort..The self checkout lane is the only way you can get out of this Acme in a decent time maybe on a slow day. The beer and wine line always only have 1 cashier open so try not to buy beer there unless you have time to wait. Over priced and poor service.

Acme is alright, but I dont care for the stares as if Im walking into a foriegn country. They always have what I need, except the ribeyes...they go so fast.

Staff is always friendly. Shelves are always stacked with items. Always able to find what I am looking for.

I only shop their sales and meats...otherwise theyre way overpriced

This Acme has the worst produce section that I have ever seen. I have two week old celery in my refrigerator that is fresher than what they are selling. Also, I was unable to buy lettuce as they were all so wilted. What a difference this store is from the Acme in Newtown Square.

Produce is fresh, inventory is always full, staff is super-friendly AND you can purchase wine and beer here. Nuff said.

Not crazy about the revised check out area. They are really pushing self check out which Im not good at. Had to help a customer find the registers as they are quite hidden. Dont know what the suits were thinking, but this was a lousy decision.

I love this store! I went shopping early in the morning on March 13th. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Items that were hard to find all week, were stocked and featured at great price . Thank you for the excellent customer service during this hectic time.

Employees are not friendly here, especially the miserable cashiers at self checkout. The only friendly cashier I’ve encountered is the younger gentleman who works at customer service, he’s the only one who ever greets and acknowledges you. Also, the store is unorganized and has an awful odor to it. The worst Acme I’ve ever been to, Will not be returning to this location.

I made a delivery here, my company is getting all of the Passover food items delivered on time.

Helen the pharmacist is the greatest person on earth my son went in too get a flu shot VERY SCARED and she was talking to him as if he was her own child. My son never got his shot cause he was so nervous but Helen and I sat there for over a half hour trying to convince him to get it which she had no obligation to do but she did. I wish all pharmacist were like her. Helen’s recommendation was to wait till he wasn’t so upset and she will try again when she’s on. So nice cause we where there when she was trying too close and had no problem with it. Awesome 👏

One of the best Acmes I have ever seen. It was clean and bright, we found all the specials we wanted, and the checkout person was friendly and helpful.It is not the closest one to our house, but we will definitely go out of our way to shop here again.

How could cashier wait and watch me with nothing to do untill I put groceries I shopped into the bags.

Just went here because it was convenient. But from previous visits check out here can be awful ! They only have about 3 check out lanes open out of about 13 ! No self check out. Express lane is not really express. Prices are so so. I just prefer Giant or Shop Rite.

An excellent market for grocery shopping. They always have good sales on fresh foods, and theyre cooked foods are very good, and convenient as well.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE TO BE OUT OF THE STORE WITHIN 20 MIN. There are never any open cashiers. They recently took out the self-checkout lanes and put in express lanes. These express lanes are anything but fast. It would help if they had more cashiers and open lanes. Employees dont seem to want to help either. They are always just walking around staring at the long checkout lines. I have been going out of my way just to go to Giant because I cant deal with it anymore. This ACME in The Lawrence Park shopping center should really consider bringing back the self-checkout lanes if they want to have more customers. I know I am not the only customer who thinks this way. Everyone in line is always so angry.

I had a wonderful shopping experience here! Found everything I came to get and received extras! As a was going to cash out, Bill one of the cashiers asked if I enjoyed the free cheese samples, I was shocked...free I said, he told me exactly where to go and off I went! When I arrived at the counter I asked if I could take four, two for my sister and two for me and I was told yes...come on...free and have four! I got them and went to cash out and had the most wonderful time at the checkout counter. Jillian was cashing me out and Raeleen was bagging my groceries. I had the most pleasant conversation with them. This was the best trip to Acme I have ever had! Thank you Bill, Jillian and Raeleen. Hope to see you there when I return!

From what I could tell, there is no acme at this location. I could have missed something, but there is a dead end road with some condos and then forest. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Just did a quick in and out for some dinner foods. Everything was fine.

There never seems to be enough cashiers there for checkouts. Ive left my basket there, full, because there was 1 cashier and I was number 6 in line. There also wasnt a bagger there to help speed the process up. That is my only major complaint about that store. I talked to a new manager there about a year ago who said he was going to change that. He did. It actually got worse!

Since you have gotten rid of self check out I dread coming here. Ive been standing in line for 15 minutes for 2 things. Four employees behind counter only one ringing people up and a long line. There are 2 giants that are a little further but at least you get out faster. You really dropped the ball on this. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

This acme is terrible. Its old, smelly, and the selection sucks. Convenience? None, they remodeled it a year or two ago, taking out the self checkout so that you are forced to interact with the extremely miserable misfits that they have working there and doing a half assed renovation that looks terrible. But if youre looking to grocery shop somewhere with a terrible overpriced selection, foul odor, miserable awful customer service, obsolete technology, inconvenient check out setup, and you have 3 hours to wait in line to pay for 5 items, then this is the place for you. This acme should be shut down and they should replace it with a Wegmans.

Got rid of their self check out registers, I usually go after 7p and now have to wait 15 mins to check out bananas. Not enough staff and long wait lines....heading to Giant next to planet fitness now. Whoever got rid of self checkout needs to be fired!
