As usual, this shop never fails to provide. Came in with last-minute kilt needs, because of last minute plans, and my quarantine body, and SUCCESS! The people here are always friendly, and they have some of the best prices and highest quality goods of any shop. And its always better to buy local!

The worst online shopping experience ever! DONT Believe a word from other comments! Put an overseas order on 12 Mar, they only shipped part of the purchase to transit store house. After waiting for 2 weeks, followed up an email ask for update on the remaining purchase item, they said it was now on its way. After another 2 weeks, 9 April emailed to ask for update, no response. Asked them to cancel the order, and provide us a return address, we are even willing to pay for the postal fee returning the package from store house to this seller. No response!!! They just keep mute and pretend they dont receive any inquiry!!! And today, after 6 weeks waiting, we will have to make a choice, either let store house send the unfilled order; or return it to the address of this seller. And we have to choose option 1, and we are 100% sure, even if the package is returned back to them, they will not refund anything!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SHOP!!!!

After almost 4 months, my order STILL isnt right....I ordered a canvas utility kilt from Celtic Croft in May. It arrived very promptly, in about 4 weeks- but it was the wrong style and a full inch+ shorte than ordered. This was mid June. I spoke to Kaurina, the manager/ owner(?), and was assured that the correct product and size would be ordered, and a priority rush for production. 4 weeks later- nothing. Called Kaurina again, and am told she hasnt heard from (no answers to phone or email messages) in over a month. Hes dropped off the face of the planet- but shes still receiving occasional shipmets from him. Afew more weeks go by, call again. They had to re submit my order the first week of August- so it hadnt even been in the que for 10+ weeks.Once it was actually ordered, it arrived in a couple weeks- very promptly. Unfortunately, the kilt maker apparently cannot read a tape measure to save his life- this one, while the right product, is over 2 inches too long. I immediately emailed Kaurina- and silence for over 10 days. Nothing, no response.As an aside, Steve, the guy who answers the phone, has no information, no product knowledge, and no ability to make a decision. Hes an answering service. He also is quick to lose his temper when faced with problems that exceed his ability to address.... Ive NEVER had a service rep scream, literally at the top of his voice, at me over the phone....Summation- the kilt I finally received is of decent quality and materials at the price point. Its fully knife pleated, and well sewn.The service Ive received is completely sub par. No excuse for a seller to offer products from a single source maker she cant even communicate with. No excuse not to have more than one production source. No excuse for the maker to screw up the measurements twice. No excuse for the owner not to respond to being informed of the second error...So, 2 stars for the quality of the product, 0 stars for service and buying experience....

Super speedy postage (from USA to FNQ Australia), and the quality was superb. The Celtic Belt Buckle was a very sturdy piece of metal which will last for 1000 years! The Rabbit Fur Sporran is a beautiful piece of work.Handy Hint - The Sporran comes with a free Sporran Chain Belt - but its worth paying $20 for the Quality strap as well - (you still get the one that comes free with the Sporran, but the quality leather strap is much better looking, and its always good to have a back up!)Ill shop there again!

Ordered 1 pair of kilt hose online on January 12, 2019. Just received them on February 27, 2019. They were shipped February 25, 2019 after I had called Celtic Croft on February 22, 2019 to find out where my kilt hose were and why They were still in process. They were not on backorder and were just in process on January 14, 2019. Missed my event over the weekend of February 23 to 24 due to this.I ended up ordering a pair of kilt hose off of Amazon for $20 cheaper. It was the exact same brand and color as the ones I just received from Celtic Croft.Not real happy with my shopping experience with Celtic Croft online. I will not buy from them agin after my order taking more than a month to get to me.Update 3/ 4/ 2019:I never have received any gift certificate when my order finally came or any other time. Never did receive an explanation either. If it was out of stock, why did I not receive a notification about it? Why did I have to call and nobody knew what was going on?

My husband ordered me the thistle filigree ring for my birthday. I had wanted one for such a long time. When I got the ring, it wasnt quite what I expected. It was beautiful dont get me wrong, it was just a little smaller than i expected and the detailing wasnt exact on both sides. I contacted the shop and the gentleman called me back after I left a message and he was great! He said they wanted to make it right and fix any issue. So they emailed me a return label postage paid included, for me to send it back so they could better my ring and then return it to me. They were awesome about wanting to resolve the issue and make me happy with my gift. Cant wait to get my ring back. Ill continue to shop with these wonderful people and recommend them to anyone!Update!!! 4-8-19 Just got me ring back from them. Absolutely in love with my ring. These are great people to work with! The kilts looked amazing, but the service was quite disorganized. They sent the wrong size kilt at first, and then when we requested a different size they did not let us know it was shipping until it already arrived (we called and emailed several times without getting a response). It arrived the day before the reception -- thank goodness! One of the return labels they provided did not have postage paid, so the rental has been returned to sender (me) and Im awaiting further instructions on how to send it again (sigh).Beware the sizing information on the website. The childrens kilts and shirts had the wrong sizing information on the website, and we ended up ordering a kilt and shirt that were far too small for my wee nephew.The staff I spoke with (a man named Steve) was very nice and accommodating on the phone, but the lack of follow-up communication during such a critical time for me and my wife really soured the experience.EDIT: Downgraded my rating from a 3 to 2, because one of the return labels did not have postage paid and the package was returned to me. Now I have to go to UPS again to ship it back, without so much as an apology from Celtic Croft for wasting my time. Upgraded back to a 3 because Kaurina sent me a nice apology letter. :-)

I always get great service when I stop by the store, the people are very friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this family owned business. The staff helped my wife and I find just the right Celtic look and we always get comments when ever we wear our kilts.

Love, love, love this company. They sell quality merchandise and the few times Ive had to contact CS, Ive been very pleased (Steve is great!). They are a family-owned and family-run business, so there are a few times theyve been out-of-pocket, but they always tweet when they will be unavailable. Custom orders arrive in the time youd expect (for a custom hand-made order) and the quality of their wool products is second to none. Not sure what negative commenters have dealt with, but Ive placed 6 orders in 2016 so far, including custom orders, and I can say nothing bad about these folks.

Love this place! Ive watched it grow from a business run from the house living room (where, one time, they had a pile of sleeping kittens) to their oversized converted garage /outbuilding, to the current location, and they carry everything you might be able to think of, providing everything from full rental costume, custom kilts and skirts and all accoutrements, flasks, jewelry, books, bagpipes, t-shirts, glassware, shawls, blankets, tin whistles, haggis, brown sauce, CDs and DVDs, you name it. If they dont have it for some reason, they can get it. They also exclusively provide the Outlander tartan. Small showroom, huge inventory (well, its not *all* in inventory, they have suppliers, especially for the custom kilts). They also give very personable and personal service, they work hard, and they do everything to ensure your satisfaction. Theres nothing to dislike here, everything to like. Truly great! Order online, from the catalog, or in store. Im a happy, longtime and continual customer.

The kilt is BEAUTIFUL and the men will certainly look handsome. However, beware TERRIBLE customer service! If you encounter Steven hang up and try to get someone else on the phone. The final FORGOTTEN pieces of my brothers wedding attire arrived the day of the wedding with virtually no apology. Im convinced the four kilts would not have arrived at all if we hadnt contacted them a week before the wedding. Not to mention that they were mailed to the incorrect address and we were lied to by multiple people. Not worth the hassle in my opinion.

Ordered a specific kilt for our wedding over 8 weeks ago. Our wedding is in two weeks and Celtic Croft just called today to tell us they are not sure they can get the kilt. Why on earth did they wait until two weeks before our wedding to tell us this - they had over 8 weeks to get our order completed. Their staff person answering the phone was rude, argumentative, unprofessional and unkind. He could have cared less that this was the most devastating news to us. Our entire wedding is designed around the Mackenzie Modern Tartan. A substitution is not possible. Our family is Mackenzie, we wear Mackenzie. The entire wedding is designed around the Mackenzie Tartan. Table clothes, sashes, bows, decorations, floral arrangements, etc. Blackwatch and all other kilts will not match - our wedding photos will be ruined.As of right now, I have no idea what we are going to do.
