After scheduling through the app. Received a call to verify and make sure the service I picked was correct. Was told that the shuttle service had been on pause. Said I would be able to find another ride. However, when I arrived for my appointment was pleasantly surprised that they would take care of getting me a lyft ride. Didnt have to wait long after checking in and was on my way home. Took about and hour half, car was done. Let my advisor know that I would be ready around 10 to be picked up. I had already took care of paying online which was quick. Was picked up, dropped off. Then right to the service desk to get my keys. The whole transaction went smoothly from start to finish. Thank you!

I went in to get a new key for my 10 year old Sonic. After they finished it, they didnt charge me any labor, only for the part. And they also washed the car! Great service!

The vehicle intake and probably the service was fine. However, I asked for Moble-1 5w-30 on the oil change. The invoice was priced like it was Moble-1. But the invoice just had oil change listed. The next change sticker in the upper left on the windshield only had +3,000 miles on it. Which, to me, is indicative of a standard oil change. I then requested a call back late Saturday AM to ask about it and never received a call back. (Very disappointing) .

I had a scheduled oil change, and it took 2 hours to complete. After an hour or so I had to inquire about what was taking so long and was told another 40 min. I was also informed that they couldnt get my valve stem covers off but they checked the air pressure anyhow (how is this possible?). As I was leaving a service representative came out due to overhearing my phone call and offered me a free oil change for next time. That was nice of him but I was only at a Chevy dealer due to my normal technician needing to cancel last minute and me needing an oil change asap. Not sure when or if Ill return for my free oil change, maybe Ill save it for an emergency situation. Waiting 2 hours for a scheduled oil change is ridiculous, I was late to my other obligations that night because of it. I shouldve just asked for that one to be free.
The only reason I had a 5 star experience is because of Alan. He was welcoming, kind, ensuring and his customer service was just absolutely amazing. However, the sales people on the floor needs some training on how to greet and assist customers. No one on that floor spoke to me despite seeing me curious about a few vehicles. At one point a couple walked in and a sales person said you guys look serious, he can help you as if I was a complete joke. Its time to retire my current Chevrolet and out of loyalty I was looking into getting another GM. Im glad I had that experience because it made me go home and do research and now Toyota, Honda or Mazda seems like they will be a better fit for me and my family. The customer service is the worst I’ve seen. Upon arrival, no one comes up to you to greet you or to instruct you. The workers are dealing with numerous customers at one time, which barley give them time to throughly explain information to you. The employees are impatient, dismissive, and show POOR customers relations it’s embarrassing. I’ve given this dealership numerous chances and I will no longer spend my money here or recommend it to anyone. I will avoid at all cost. Every time I come, the diagnostic is introducing “new problems” my car has, and then the next time I come in, it’s all of a sudden in good condition. Doesn’t make sense, and to me it’s a scam just to try to get more money. It’s ridiculous! Work needs to be done with new training on your employees and how to show professionalism.
Thanks to Joe my service advisor and the mechanic who do the major repairs on my engine, I got the vehicle back and it performs great and no leaks!! Very Happy thanks to the entire team at Brookdale Chevrolet!!!

First of all, my appointment wasnt in the system even though I received a confirmation email, the Tech guy wasnt able to find it, and it took 2 hours just to start working on my car, I kept calling for 1.5 hours and there was no one to provide info, this sucked at all levels.I asked for full inspction, The team missed 2 important issues. This is the worst customer service level Ive seen
Dani was amazing, I didn’t catch the sales managers name but he was great and stylish too. The trade in quote was beyond fair and they worked for me to make sure that I was able to explore all the options I wanted too. They ran the numbers so I could compare them and make a final decision. Over all I will always recommend Dani to friends and family looking for a new/used car.
I came to this dealership after a terrible experience at another local Chevy dealership. I worked with Alan Hammond and he was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and honest about the service my car needed, the warranty coverage I still had on the vehicle and what to expect about the service process. In the end nothing was wrong with the car, when the other dealership was going to have me pay $375 for a part that would have been covered but was not even malfunctioning. Quick oil change is anything but quick. First appointment was for August 10th at 9:15 AM I was told the wait time was over 2hours I knew that if this was the time frame being told I knew it would probably be much longer. So I cancelled that time and remade an appointment for August 17th at 9 AM this only took 2 hours; as I said not very quick. Why bother with appointments if the mean nothing.
I always love coming to your dealership everything always goes smooth and without incident. Youre a little farther away than places closer to me but I dont mind driving the extra miles.

Nick, my contact at this location does not seem to be a people person. The first time I got my car fixed, I was without a car for 2+ weeks with no rental because they were trying to figure out if my car problems were under warranty. They thought the problem was my battery, so I paid to have that replaced. They notified my that the battery wasnt the issue, but I never saw any money back for that. It took my car 2 months to get the problem fixed. The same problem has already happened 2 times since then, and has had to be towed to the dealer and be resolved again. Luckily, they gave me a rental car for a little while my car was being fixed. Nick seemed sort of inconvenienced (lol, me too) at my car having problems and having to be fixed. Unfortunately, this is really my only option of locations to get those car problems fixed since it is a hybrid.
I brought my car in for a complete check for warranty and was very pleased with the communication from the dealership. Halaina did great with answering all of my questions and left clear instructions on the next steps.
I got the oil changed, tires rotated, and the cabin air filter replaced on my vehicle. The service was quick and competent, as always. What I most appreciated, however, was the expanded customer waiting area. No more crowding together around the TV. The dealership has added a number of tables and chairs, and social distancing is a lot easier than it used to be.

The service representative did an outstanding job for me. He worked with the mechanic to verify what repairs were needed. This allowed me to make an informed decision. I chose not to complete the repairs. This is the second time I have need to replace the timing chain and gears. To repair it again means there will be a third time this repair will be needed. GM corp knows about this problem with the timing chain. I am informed it is an inadequate oil pump which allows the engine to run too warm. GM could fix this. But they chose not to fix it. they do not inform the consumer about this problem. Shame on them! A fool and his money are soon parted.

I needed a 2021 Chevy Trax. However, they were hard to come by at the end of the model year. I found one on the Luther Brookdale Chevrolet that was in transit, so I connected with the online chat box and requested a price quote. Very quickly, Derek Waddell contacted me, and I arranged to put a deposit down to hold the car. There was excellent follow-up to keep me informed of the status of the car. On Saturday, August 14, I took delivery at the dealership, meeting Derek for the first time and paying cash for the vehicle. Every step of the process was smoothly handled and everyone I met at the dealership was friendly, helpful, and efficient.In a time when new cars are scarce and used cars are too high-priced, I was very pleased with how Luther Brookdale Chevrolet met my needs and got me the car I was looking for. I had to have my car towed in and they were quick in getting back to me as to what was wrong and what the cost would be. they also called me that i needed my warranty work done. they completed all of this and then they called when they done and explained about the charges and what they were for. very polite and pleasant to work with.

DisappointedI brought my vehicle in for routine maintenance. Within a couple of days began having problems. I’ve brought it in several more times with essentially the same complaint and no resolution. I’ve now spent approximately $4,000 and am still having the same issue. Afraid to take it back because I don’t want to spend more money on a vehicle that was working fine before the scheduled service.The service advisor has been great helping to bring costs down. But I’ve lost faith in the technicians.Update: Cole, Service Manager, reached out to me from the service department. He had me come in and meet with him and Troy, Tech Supervisor, to take my truck for a drive. They corrected the situation and as of this moment, my truck is running good.

The salesman was very frustrating. He didnt know much about the truck I bought. He always said, Ill have to check on that. Also, when texting or emailing, he would not answer questions accurately or in a timely fashion. When at the dealership as I was working with a guy on the purchase agreement, the service gal came in and talked over us, and she didnt stop until all her questions or whatever was done. It was rude and on top of that, at her desk, she couldnt tell me with much authority what I could not find online. I mean I was pointing things out to her on her screen. Ugh. The finance guy, Ted, was the only real person I was completely satisfied with. He followed up calls, explained things clearly, and was efficient, yet patient with me in the process of finishing the Purchase Agreement.
Casie was so patient with me and did such an amazing job advocating with the warranty agency for the work that needed to be done. He was great with communicating the progress of both the approvals for the work and status of the work. I appreciate all he did!!
2015 Chevy Sonic in for five days to Luther Brookdale Chevy, Brooklyn Park MN, said it was fixed, Charged $2000. and when I drove car out of lot and onto freeway, “immediately” same problem. Car was not fixed!! . Brought back right away, got shop foreman to ride with me and he experienced problem first hand, got the car back to mechanics, and now, I’m waiting… after another four days of working on it I was told they still haven’t figured out what is wrong. Thankfully I got a rental car when I asked for one. But I need my car fixed and IF IT DOESNT RUN WELL when done”, I want my $2000. back! Thanks— I hope someone actually reads this and reaches out to me personally regarding this experience

I have a 21 equinox and long story short I bought the car knowing that the rim was scuffed in one spot. now 12k miles later my alignment is off. the dealer did not want to work with me on fixing it at no cost.
Great Service Visit. I was just in for an oil change and tire rotation. Because of Covid I hoped to make my visit as quick as possible. I was pleased to see that Brookdale Chevrolet has made some changes to their waiting area by moving some tables and chairs into another area and quite spread out. I was told it would take about 1:15 at the longest so I told the service rep that I would go for a walk outside first. To my surprise, he called me just as I was walking back up to the building about 45 minutes later. That was really quick service and I appreciated it.

Unfortunately I had a pretty bad experience just trying to get a recalled performed. When I first brought my car in, they inspected to see if the part actually needed to be replaced or if I just needed the prevention bumper installed. During the inspection my windshield was broken. The inspection found that the part needed to be replaced and they did not have the part available. I was sent home and someone came to replace my windshield pretty quickly, free of charge. The windshield replacement was good but not great. I did not receive GM Glass which Im pretty disappointed about. I understand it should be the same quality but it doesnt seem right to me. I brought my car in again about a month later after the part was received and after a couple of days, I was informed the tech was out sick and I would have to come get my car and bring it back another time. Bummer but better safe than sorry with Covid going on so I was understanding. Unfortunately when I picked up my car my key fob had some damage to it. Not the end of the world but that shouldnt happen. About a month later I dropped my car off again, and the recall was performed. I did get a new key fob which I appreciate, and you even cut me a new key which was unexpected and appreciated. When I got the car home I quickly popped the hood just to inspect and unfortunately I instantly found a few issues: The air box was just resting in place, the rubber mount was not pushed into the chassis. There was a plastic rivet missing on the cowling. And back behind the engine, I saw a multi-hose/pipe clamp (Im not sure what theyre called but a plastic clamp that clamps onto 2 hoses and the firewall) was open with hoses not going through the clamp. Its just really disappointing to see that level of detail paid to my car while it was in for a recall, especially after I had already had issues. This recall was no fault of my own and not a complaint or anything like that. After spotting those few things after a 30 second inspection, I really wonder if my fuel tank was reinstalled properly, if my high voltage battery was reinstalled properly, if the fuel pipe has the new rubber bumper to prevent this issue from happening again, etc... It was just a really poor experience all around. The first trip I waited in the lobby for hours even though they had already finished with my car when I finally asked for an update. The other 2 times I left my car so this took 5 separate trips to the dealer to get this recall done. I was thrilled with my car before this recall and now I have a non-oem windshield with mismatched gaps and the weather seal sticks up past the roof in some spots, and I question the quality and completeness of everything that had to be removed and reinstalled for this repair since I was able to easily spot things that were missed. I thought the dealership was supposed to be the best place to have a car repaired or a recall performed and I dont feel like this was a premium experience at all. Honestly if I could go back in time I wish I would have just tore up the recall letter and ignored it. As it is, I will probably try Wayzata Chev for any other recalls or warranty concerns. Sorry to be so negative but I hope you can see where Im coming from. I tried to be very understanding and never got upset at anyone but in the end I feel like too many mistakes were made and this was far more inconvenient than it should have been.

The repair needed to my trucks rear window required Luther to have it for multiple days. They provided a very nice loaner vehicle and the process was simple and quick. The repair was completed within the timeframe promised and was under warranty.
The service consultant is knowledgeable about his job. He follows up with you on regular basis about the status of your vehicle. My car is finished in no time. Excellent customer service. He is polite, nice dealing with, and treats the customer with the utmost respect. The dealership itself is clean and the waiting area is cozy and comfortable while waiting for your vehicle.

I chose the pickup and drop off service and with the pandemic, I am SO happy I had this option. I was putting off doing service on my car because I wasnt driving very much, but also because I had no idea how Id feel safe doing it. Both drivers were extremely personable and accommodating. The second driver even got detoured to my old address because of an error in my paperwork and he stilled showed up with a smile. I wish I would have thought about tipping them at the time!! Id suggest adding a tip option for the drivers during the invoice option.

I am rating the experience poor because the service advisor made it all sound like my fault. I was never, to my knowledge verbally told about the oil leak for over a year... YES it was noted on the multi inspection report. BUT had I been TOLD VERBALLY; hey you have a few oil leaks to fix. I would have done it a year ago. this is pure failing of the dealer to communicate to ME the customer. repair is fine. rental fine... but FAILING grade on the communication.I will probably not buy a chevy brand or be back to your dealer after my warranty period is over. I just feel like I was misled, and I do not have confidence in your ability to effectively communicate my vehicle needs to me. That being said, i suggest a extensive review of your procedures for making issues known to a customer in CLEAR writing and CLEAR verbal communication. This experience has soured my experience with your dealer/brand... that FORD escape looks REALLY nice over there.......
Im going to have to say that my experience with Luther Chevrolet was by far the best Ive had with any dealership in over 10 years now. Nick with services helped my issues out instantly when my dealership in California for the same car couldnt figure out what the issue was for years. He was quick, friendly, extremely reliable and makes me want to keep coming back!
I knew I needed work done on my 2013 Equinox. The service man Nick Vandeusen alerted me to the fact I had some extended Warrantee left. I Had both my ball joints replaced, Water Pump rep.with front end alignment, Serpentine belt, FR axel seal was leaking so a new seal was put in. I drove it today now the front end was tighter than ever. So nick did me a good service. 100% to Nick who made it happen.
