Great little comic shop. Not the biggest selection since its a relatively small space, but they pack in a lot of stuff. Theres a little bit of everything - new comics, indie comics, YA comics, collectibles, cards, etc. Staff is super helpful and you cant beat the location. Coolidge Corner is great, and I always stop at New England comics when Im in the area.

On the small side but had back issues from recent runs I wanted so that was perfect. My date who knows nothing about comics felt comfortable there and the employees were kind. I would definitely go back when Im in the area!

Extremely knowledgable staff! Basement has regular magic tournaments. People are always very nice and have great recommendations. Lots of finds in a small shop. Basement also has lots of dollar comics. What you cant find in store theyll often try to get for you. Nice neighborhood store that lots of people keep coming back to. Family friendly with lots of kids comics too!

This is a small little shop near Coolidge Corner that can provide for all of your comic book needs. The staff is super friendly and will help you with picking out whatever you need. Theyre also really great about rare issues and prints so if you want to pick up a variant this is the place to go. In fact I think theyre still holding on to an issue of Fearless Defenders #6 that I should really go see them about. They do keep sporadic hours however so be sure to check up on them before you go so youre not stuck waiting around.

This place is a mess. I’ve gone multiple times and the door will just be locked with no signs. I was literally forced outside because they had to close randomly. The selection is decent but I’ve also gone looking for a “new release” and it’s nowhere to be found even though they advertise in there emails that they lll have it. I’ve slowly migrated to comicopia in Kenmore even though I live in Brookline. The customer service is also average. I often feel like I’m interrupting something even when I’m the only customer in the store. Major improvement needed!

A good place for Magic: The Gathering. The staff are friendly and helpful. they run magic events downstairs. It can be a bit crammed, especially with no windows, but they do well with the space they have

Good comic selection, staff will grab what they dont have from distributors for you. Magic environment similar to pandemonium, but smaller and friendlier players. Theres also a Pokemon league here, but Im less familiar with the game.

One of my favorite places to go. The staff there is very knowledgeable on comics and comic history. But by no means are they comics snobs. If you are looking for something and they dont have they will usually find it.

Been there twice in two weeks. Good selection and good prices. However, staff seems almost annoyed when someone walks in. They dont greet you or offer any help. All true, unless youre a regular. Regulars were greeted much more amicably. Theyre the closest location to me since their Allston location closed, so I have to go there or make the trek to Newbury Comics.

Kind of a generic comic shop. Better selection than the other New England comics, but nothing particularly impressive. Basement area where magic happens is a bit of a mess and doesnt always get cleaned.

Best place ive seen around for comic and mtg needs. Though im not that into comics I play mtg here every friday-sunday. The staff running the event are friendly and knowledgable. And the staff running the store is the friendliest ive seen. Though their singles selling is a bit lackluster that is because they just started buying and selling singles. And their collection is growing fast. Higher end stuff and low end. The player base really varies, id say average age is around 20-25 though there are about 8 kids 18- that go on a regular. The playerbase is fair about trading and isnt the type to try and screw you. No theft to speak of. Friday nights is draft and standard, saturday is draft, sunday is EDH and free play. Monday is draft. Also the first friday of each month is modern format. Though we are hopefully starting that every saturday.
