Tatte did not disappoint! My daughter and I stopped in to this Brookline Beacon street location on a Friday for a late brunch. They have nice patio for outdoor seating and did a good job spacing out the tables inside. The inside was clean and hand sanitizer was prominently placed for customers to use. Even at 1:30 it was full, but we were still able to find a table. The young lady taking our order was nice, and the man who delivered the food to our table was pleasant as well. I know people have mentioned the wait, but the line was short and our food arrived to our table within 10 minutes. The highlight was the food! We ordered the lamb hash, the roasted peach tartine, eggs and prosciutto, and a chocolate croissant (we wanted to try a few different dishes and a pastry). We washed it all down with iced cold brews. Everything was excellent!Tatte lived up to its fabulous reputation! My daughter is already planning another trip before she heads to college in a few weeks. Be sure to go when they have brunch.
Great place. Weather allowed us to eat outside which was nice. The breakfast sandwiches were great. The muffins and croissants were fantastic. Highly recommend for breakfast.
Tatte is always a treat to visit. Something for everyone. Their halva lattes are delicious and you can’t go wrong with any of their baked good or breakfast items.
Im lucky enough to be the new mail woman here and have only tried about 3 things but they were ALL good. Today I got the spinach and feta Flatbread and im currently in food heaven eating this. Ive also tried the nut bars which inspired me to make my own and I pretty much nailed it. Super easy to make.
I didnt eat but had a great latte. My friends both had croissants and loved them. They were quite buttery so make sure to grab some extra napkins. Also because it was such a nice day it was very busy so we walked around the corner and sat in the park, plenty of seats there!
Great coffee and pastry shop. The staff was friendly and made my order quickly. The pastries were amazing and the selection to choose from was vast. The coffee was great too. Another thing to note was how nice the space is, it’s beautiful inside and the outside patio was charming. I really liked this place and will be definitely be coming back again.
Incredibly delicious monkey bread and squash drink. I dont normally write reviews but the extra care in packaging everything was above and beyond and I was very pleased to see it. They had a safety seal to make sure the order wasnt tampered with, and even had a tape sealed on the drink to ensure it didnt spill in transport. This was my first experience ordering from them and will be doing so again in the future.
Nice place to grab a bite and chat with friends. I really like their vibe. I tried the spinach and labne pita, I liked it. Will definitely try other items again.
Had milk chocolate and caramel mousse at the Brookline branch. Didnt like it as it was way too sweet and didnt seem fresh either. Maybe I picked the wrong item out of the menu. It was hard to even finish it. It was expensive for no reason.
Quick service! great matcha lattes!
Great recommendation from the crew, customer service outstanding! Try the raspberry cheesecake parfait.
Great for sweet treats, wish they had more savory.
One of my biggest surprises ever🙌we came to this place for breakfast, one the best shaksuka I ever had in the us, food was fresh, ice Coffee very good, and the staff was extremely friendly, highly recommend, first time but definitely not the last.
Friendly service, nice pastries and tartines (single slice bread sandwich). Good spot to order ahead.
Love their cakes. They are the best!
My disappointment is not measurable, I was visiting family in Brookline and they hyped this place up “try the Jerusalem bagel” they said. Well after the wait I was rewarded with a deconstructed sandwich with a chopped up and stale bagel as soon as I opened the box after getting back to their apartment. Coffee was good and just about the only thing I would ever consider getting from them again.
Best Croque Madame this side of The Pond
This coffee shop and bakery is absolutely adorable. Cozy vibe with music and open layout. Lattes were great, and not too sweet. Ordered two pastries (lemon mint tart and chocolate pistachio croissant) and both were amazing. Was a bit crowded, but service was quick and we were able to grab a seat by the window and hang out for a bit. They have the wifi password posted by the coffee bar, looks like a lot of people bring laptops and stay awhile, but it was a bit loud to do work.
I love Tatte Bakery but at this location I had the worst customer service experience. The cashier girl was very rude and made a very inapropriate comment to my question. Very unacceptable.
Visited this café on a friends recommendation. It has a very chill vibe and friendly staff. I ordered a house latte (which was essentially a latte with honey and halva) which was quite interesting, and a fresh mozzarella sandwich which was absolutely delicious! Definitely visiting again next time Im in town.
GO HERE!! Seriously you will not be disappointed. A well deserved 5 stars. The food is delicious and the coffee delightful. The staff was extremely cooperative and friendly. Although the line was long (for a Thursday afternoon I can only imagine the lines on the weekend are way worse) it moved pretty quickly. Love the fact that they combined a pastry shop with a sandwich/coffee shop and not in a tacky way. You can see the food being made in the back and the ingredients are quality and fresh.
Walked 1.5 miles for the savory breakfast, pastries (the chocolate rose is totally worth it), and a latte (Marzocco espresso machines are always a good sign). Bustling scene on a Friday mid morning but servers were friendly to us newbies. On our trek back, we saw there was another Tatte less than half a mile from our hotel. Whoops, but also, so glad we found this gem. Absolutely delightful and delicious.
Just had the lamb sandwich it was delicious great soups also. My first time but it won’t be my last
The pastry chefs and helpers were great! The barista and the clerk were extremely rude. I was trying to grab a spoon/napkin and they were treating me like I was stealing, after spending $60.00 on Tatte. Its a shame I couldnt stand there to decide what to order next because they just rushed me after being there for only 5 minutes, never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Wonderful almond croissants, fruit tart and chocolate mousse
Got disappointed in their oatmilk. They changed it recently and it is so bad, it tastes like plastic, cheap oatmilk.
Pear jam on the Greek pancakes was great.
Okay food but very overpriced. Cafe Landver is close by and much better value.
What can I say? These guys really know what theyre doing. Ive never gotten something here I dont like, and Ive been here a whole lot. Its one of the only cafes Ive found that makes a matcha latte that isnt made with the gross presweetened powder (looking at you, Starbucks... ew). Their food is delicious too, and you can tell the pastries are fresh. In the many, many times Ive ordered from here, Ive only had a few issues-- I would say dont order breakfast pastries online later in the day, odds are theyll be sold out and have to give you a replacement when you show up. One time they didnt give me a replacement and then never refunded it, but that was a fluke, normally theyre very careful and accurate.
Amazing bakery with lots of delicious offerings and great coffee. I highly recommend the almond croissant and monkey bread. They also do Mediterranean dishes, which I havent tried yet
Love the food here. Wonderful bakery items and capacinno.
Great neighborhood cafe
I had the worst customer service experience in this location, I kept waiting next bakery station no one there to serve me, one worker there dropped off spoons and knives on the floor next to us it create sharp sound and he never say sorry or apologize, something wrong
Delicious breakfast and wonderful outdoor seating.
Friendly workers, standard tatte food. Muesli was very good.
Tatte has delicious brunch, lunch and pastries. I look forward to thier brunch because they only sell it at certain times and days. At first their list of sandwhiches seemed a little overpriced just because it is a nicer looking bakery; however, after I tried both salads and sandwhiches, I realized that they are both esquiste tasting. Posted is a photo of the Moroccan Shakshouka.
So cozy and clean. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, especially for an out of towner. If I ever come back to Boston, I will absolutely make a stop at this bakery.
Very good food
Excellent food. Love the chicken salad and the challah bread! Excellent packaging when you order delivery and the food is so fresh and enjoyable. Very diverse and enticing menu.

Amazing food and pastries, I liked the coffee but I’m not an expert. My faves have been the croque madame on a croissant and the Koin aman (I can’t spell it). A tad expensive for me so definitely more of a treat. Super crowded on weekends. This location is on the small side, less seating than they need
Very good and yummy
The egg and avocado croissant is not goodThey have very nice fresh orange juice and their plane croissant is delicious too
Good breakfast.
Pastries are good, food is okay, customer service is impolite and self-righteous.
What a nice authentic taste. I never knew about this place just minutes from my work. My friend mentioned it and I tried it just recently. Their products are honest, tasty, and live up to what you should expect in taste and quality. A very cozy atmosphere as well.Highly recommend!!!
The croissant breakfast sandwich is the absolute best. On my way to work, I take a detour past Tatte just so I can grab one of these sandwiches for breakfast. It comes with avocado, arugula, and an egg (which you can customize) that I usually get over medium, just to name a few ingredients. The croissant itself is perfectly flaky and delicious. I cant say enough about this breakfast sandwich, Im just glad I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try something new.
If youre looking for a cute boomerang on Instagram, this is a great spot. However, if youre looking for decent prices and respectable amounts of food, go elsewhere. If you do feel the need to eat here, your best bet is going in person. Should you be able to find a comfortable place to sit, you can at least enjoy your $9 breakfast sandwich. If you order online, enjoy a Russian roulette of sometimes getting what you ordered. If you get the $6 yogurt, prepare to get maybe 3 spoonfuls of actual yogurt. Its tough to find anywhere in Boston that has respectable pricing with good consistent serving sizes, but Im sure a little more investigation will be worth your time and money.
Full blown air conditioning while it was cool outside. Are they aware of global warming?Good food and nice terrace.Full of Apple laptop users therefore others’ review likely lack perspective.Should I mention the $5 Tatte pin? Are they serious?
Food is 5 stars but this location is always packed and people think it’s a good time to pull out the laptop and do work while people have food in their hand looking for a seat.
Excellent food. Just be warned there are no public bathrooms due to COVID.
Tatte is one of the best bakeries in US ! There food, bakeries and desserts are always tasty and fresh, love it for quick bites or a good sandwich or a dine in place. Love their mocha and latte. The only con is it is always so busy ! Try online orders for pickup at least 20 mins ahead
