Great place to go for a barbeque or camping trip. Huge selection of meats with fun marinades to try. I especially like the pork tenderloin and honey barbeque chicken.
I like the concept of the Meat House and with the demise of butcher shops, we really can use a good one. However, the meats available here are limited unless you call a few days ahead and reserve it. They are best at steak, chicken and sausage, but in the winter I like to braise meats and need things like lamb shanks or shoulder, veal osso buco style, or duck and these usually need to be ordered ahead of time. Even a simple lamb roast may not be available.I understand that this is a chicken and egg thing. They need the business to regularly offer these meats, but they need to offer these meats to be a successful full butcher shop.I wish them the best of luck for themselves and for those of us who would love to have a guality full service butcher.
