Cycle Gear online and phone order store is great. For some reason my local store location is not so great. The people there really lack customer service skills.

Cycle Gear has a great selection of helmets. I found the perfect helmet with the features that were important to me. The helmet size was in stock and the price was the same as other places I searched for. I purchased the helmet and have used it a few times. I am very happy with the service I received from Cycle Gear.

Needing a new helmet, I decided to go to Cycle Gear. Always welcomed as I enter, and the staff is more than helpful, without being pushy. A decent selection of helmets in stock, and they would order what I want,, if not in stock. With a little information, narrow down what I need, and found one that fit properly. These guys are always great to deal with. I go out to cycle gear often. Would be nice if they got more stuff in the store but with pandemic and all I am sure it’s hard to get enough stock. Great people. Always helpful. Get some higher end helmets in colors other than black please.

Was very busy and not enough staff to take care of customers properly. Not necessarily cycle gears fault as covid has most stores short staffed.Otherwise, an ok visit but small store.

Employees always know what they are talking about and are very helpful. They are super friendly always and never disappoint when I go there.

Nice place offers lots of military discounts. Sales guys really knew what they were talking about. I was about to grab a generic jacket and he talked to me into a very very nice one because the military discount was upwards of $70 off.

UPDATE: After a week or two, Cycle Gear Customer Service followed through with me and allowed me to return the BatteryTender for full purchase price. They apologized for the situation, and I happened to stop by during their bike night, so I picked up a free hat. Overall, this Cycle Gear location is always super helpful, and this might have been a fringe incident or misunderstanding.-----EDIT: Cycle Gear Customer Service reached out to me via this review and asked if I could email them. I emailed them earlier this week and havent heard any resolution from their team yet.The typical employees here are fantastic, but the company as a whole cannot keep up with the times. Save your time and shop somewhere with better customer service.I was sold a BatteryTender 1.5A charger for my motorcycle with the understanding that it would be able to charge a completely dead battery. Unbeknownst to me, and not displayed on the packaging, the charger would not charge 12v batteries that are outputting less than 3v. To be fair to Cycle Gear, and the employee helping me, I would argue that the product is mis-marketed.When I went to use the charger to charge my dead battery, the charger would only display a flashing amber light that indicated the charger was not able to charge the battery. After reading the manual to troubleshoot, I discovered that the battery needed to have at least 3v to take a charge. I went to return the lightly-used and useless charger, and the manager of this store refused to issue a refund, store credit, or any compensation for the now useless product. So, now Im out $75, but atleast I have a charger Ill never use.

I had placed on hold a bluetooth head set for my helmet. I was told it would be held for 2 days then returned to the shelf. When I returned the headset was sold and 2 days were not up. The sales rep was able to work me a deal on another headset. Which was to my satisfaction.

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had the opportunity to hold and try on many of the helmets I had been eyeing up online for a while. Showing up to the store really saved me time because the ones I really wanted would have to had been returned due to fit, size, or even weight. The staff at Cycle Gear got me into the RIGHT helmet for me. Highly recommended stopping in instead of buying online their selection was high and varied.

Was looking for a new helmet and the salesman who was helping me was very nice and knowledgeable. He showed me how to take out the cheek pads and windscreen and he installed the pin lock. Would buy from this place again. The helmet I decided to buy was the Shoei RF 1400.

We first called the store and asked about intercoms. The manager took all the time I needed to explain what he had and the features and price points of what was in stock. We took a drive in to the store and they a few people in store so we had to wait a few min. Was well worth waiting and we got personalized attention and all our questions answered. We found the unit we needed and they even installed them for free. They also pointed out that one of the helmets was expired and found us a good replacement. If your looking for a place that knows all about what they sell, this is the place you need to visit. It is well worth the drive and the wait for them fo help you.

Theyve always provided great recommendations on the right gear for the task, and sometimes have customer experience to refine your expectations. Its not fun stalling out 50 miles to the nearest gas station with the wrong gear - no worries if you got it here.

Found what I was looking for (moto gloves, shock spanner). Gloves were on sale, so that was nice. Only reason for 4 stars is that they had one guy working and the store had 5 people in it. Hire some people!

I come back because of how far the staff will go to help you. Its nice to see motorcycle gear in person instead of a webpage. However, if it was not for the customer service, I likely wouldnt go.They hold up their end when it comes to warranties. Ive purchased multiple items from Cycle Gear, both online and in store. I recently had an issue with my bluetooth helmet device. They never pushed back or made me feel that my issue wasnt genuine. Fixed the issue, all good.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting an extended warranty on expensive items. After they confirmed the issue, they replaced the item right away.

Nice selection of riding gear. My wife got a beautiful purple coat for riding. Now she can ride on my bike and stay warm.

Definitely overkilling it with covid. Table right when you walk in. Cant pass it unless you have a sales floor employee at your side. Waited 9 minutes at the door to go check out a few things that I knew where the were. Needles to say, I walked out. Wont be back till that problem goes away.

Went in to purchase 2 set of gloves, some parts for my dirt bike, and a few other items. The afternoon management is awful. There were 2 female employees, one was awesome and helpful. The other, which seemed to think she was a manager (I dont know for certain), was rude and just overall made for a bad experience. Ended up buying only 1 pair of gloves as she needed them today. Rest of my purchases Ill take care of through other retail websites.Shame because even last year we always had good experience here.

Bought a cycle jacket and snowmobile helmet just after Christmas. Staff was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about their products.The second time I used the helmet, condensation formed between the panes of the shield where he electric element is. They replaced it right when I brought it in with another one they had in stock. No hassles!Highly recommend this store for your Motorsport needs.

Staff member was exceptional as far as education on helmets. I was however adiment on a half or 3/4 helmet and was talked into a full face for safety. I hate the helmet, maybe wore a handful of times because I feel claustrophobic. Perhaps the employee was too good at his job because I wish I wouldve stuck to my guns about what I wanted. I appreciate his genuine concern for safety and the time he took properly fitting it though.

It was ok. Went to get some parts for my Buell lightning and the service was good. With the entire covid thing putting a damper on retail I was happy that they were open but the selection was not what I thought it was.

Called to see if I could get my sena installed I got for Christmas. Brother got his from them and they installed it. We nicely asked if they could install it for a fee of some kind and they guy working there went off on a tangent and yelled at me for being a bad customer and gave a sassy attitude about why should I help you if you didnt help us by buying it here. Whoever is working there now needs to be reprehended. Never shopping here again. (Dec 26 @11am)

This place is a joke! The store manager gave me the wrong oil, once I realized when i wanted to do an oil change a couple months later came back to return it and got a million excuses. Now Im stuck with $40 of oil I have no use for.

I was greeted by Dan, who helped me find a full face helmet to fit my long oval head shape, and a drop down sunvisor. We went to the Cycle Gear website and customized it with some other lenses and options. I also purchased some gloves which someone opened a big box and looked for for a while until we found a pair that fit.Thanks guys, looking forward to the Tuesday Bike Nights there! Staff were friendly, helpful, and experienced with opinions of their own. Little understaffed, but thats expected with the way things are.

I dislike waiting outside for someone to escort you to shop inside (COVID-19). I felt being supervised.

Came in to get a helmet for my girlfriend. James was knowledgeable, but I wanted to stay under $100. He proceeded to tell me that all those helmets were junk and insisted I buy a $250 helmet. When we decided to get the cheaper one, as we were checking out he continued to tell me that the helmet we bought would not work

I was greeted by Trevor right when I came inside. He helped me pick out everything I needed from the helmet and Bluetooth system to even the tires I needed. He described everything with great detail and made my choices easier for me to decide. I’ll definitely be back and hopefully make it to a bike night. Thanks for your help.

Great selection and prices. Chris was unbelievably helpful and patient as I tried on almost a dozen helmets, even though they were very busy at the time. He really made sure I left with one I was comfortable with.

Went there yesterday as a first time rider looking for gear. They were 100% helpful and I felt comfortable enough there to ask the dumb questions being a newbie. Leaving 5 stars for a great store overall, but especially for the service. I came in for advice on helmets and gear, and believe me, ask for Trevor. He was more than happy to grab some off the shelf and help me fit them and made sure it was a comfortable, safe fit. Couldnt be more pleased with my expirience and I will come back many more times!
