We are new in town and we were looking for a living room set. We were greeted so warmly From the moment that we walked in to Ashley furniture. Everyone is so attentive. We were paired with Scott Who was so helpful allowing us to find what we needed. He took the time to walk us through our selections and offered such helpful advice and suggestions. We love our new furniture and I’m happy we had Scott’s help along the way. I wish more places had people who care so much to give their customers a great shopping experience.

Mary Jane was so great helping us find the exact pieces we wanted for our new (completely unfurnished) home. It wasn’t your typical furniture store experience where the sales person was non-stop in your face. She was extremely helpful and could tell we were overwhelmed. She answered all our questions but also gave us the space to explore the store and way our options. As new time home buyers, she was willing to work with us on some pricing. We were impressed with our experience with the staff as a whole. Great environment, incredible furniture options, amazing people. If you are looking to furnish or re-furnish your place, I highly recommend going here and asking for Mary Jane.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Spend the extra money and go to a higher end, reputable furniture store. My fiance and I ordered our couch on March 27th 21. We were told from the get go that there were delays. Fine. At first we were told the end of June for a time frame. That quickly turned into the end of July and eventually (and most recently) they tried telling me September. I spoke to multiple different people, nobody and I mean NOBODY could tell me what the hold up was with this couch. I was constantly told Id get a call back by the end of the day or week, that never happened. I was informed that other customers who purchased around the same time as us were getting their items. Again, I never received a straight answer as to what the hold up was this went on for weeks. Somehow miraculously they must have gotten the couch because today they called to set a delivery for next week. Nobody seems to know what theyre doing there, terrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and go to Bobs literally right across the street. We ordered a kitchen table, coffee table and end tables from them and they as well noted delays but they also provided WEEKLY updates as to the status of our items, unlike Ashley who offered nothing of the sorts and seemed like they had no idea what was going on and why it was taking SO long for our couch to be delivered.

He was very knowledgeable and took the time to show us all the pieces we were interested in and to give us plenty of options. The pricing was great too. All of the staff were very kind! Worst retail experience of a lifetime. Impossible to reach on the phone. Furniture ordered in March still not delivered as of September. Managers are rude, hostile, completely unwilling to even try to help. Read the Yelp reviews for this store and youll see how much contempt they have for customers. Do yourself a favor and never set foot in this store.

Never buy anything from Ashley furniture. I bought sofa in July they delivered me in September and on top it is already start falling a part and we just notice that it is defective. The things you check on the store are different then the one they send you and it is very bad quality. I have reported there and and it is going to take them another month to fix. Stay away from this PLACE. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. THEY ARE THIEF.

The absolute worst costumer service i have ever had in my life.Was quoted 16 weeks (and then told “it never takes that long”) They held my order for an entire 8 months. Would not send me a copy of my contract. Would not give me an update on the order. And when I finally had enough and wanted to speak to a manager the manager was rude and did not make anything right about my order. Never using or recommending this company to anyone. Jeff at Ashley’s is useless.

I had ordered furniture online and was very disappointed when the day before I was supposed to receive my furniture that it wasnt coming for another 3 months. So I called to see what was going on. And the woman did not care. Needless to say I canceled my order. I wrote an email saying how disappointed I was. Then I received a call from Jeff at the Brookfield Connecticut store say he was going to help me. I went to the store. Scott and Jeff and the entire staff were wonderful! I am now a happy customer 😀 I highly recommend this store. I ordered furniture that I liked better. Very Satisfied Customer. Thank you!

Every salesperson we encountered was polite, professional and genuine. They seemed to work really well as a team and were happy to assist us. We told them what we were looking for and how much we wanted to spend and they were quick to find us the perfect piece of furniture. They didn’t try and sell us anything we didn’t need or want, as a matter of fact, they worked with us on the price. We bought a king size mattress from them 3 weeks ago. We were called a few days ago to schedule delivery. I took off from work on the delivery date so I could be there to accept the order. The day of the delivery there was radio silence. I had no idea around what time the order would be coming. We called the store and the manager told us not only was our mattress not coming but it was an error on their end and the mattress was out of stock. You cannot make this up. Even worse is that they offered us no incentive to make it up to us. We canceled our order.

Payed $200.00 for insurance for my sofa when it came time to use the insurance Because the frame broke as I was reclining. Ashley furniture was no help as well as their insurance agency not even Jeff Is the regional manager he only provided me a false email to respond to. And the reason I say that is when I try to respond I received a message saying this is not a valid email address.

We came to the Danbury store last week, we were greeted very kindly by Scott E, looking to purchase a new couch, we were undecided at the time. No pressure, Scott invited us back when we were ready to purchase. So we returned today and asked for Scott who was so kind to assist us again. We were still undecided, but he took his time with us, providing us with all of our options. It was such a pleasure to work with him. Everyone in the store was so nice and helpful and we are very happy with our purchase and we can’t wait to receive our new furniture!!!

I had such a great experience picking out my sofa/love seat today. I honestly was nervous between Covid and having never gone on my own to buy furniture before (I usually buy online). But Scott was wonderful! He knew what he was talking about and made me feel comfortable while I was shopping. I didnt feel like I was being rushed into buying something that I only kinda liked. He made the whole process so much easier and more pleasant.

If I could give them -1000 stars I would. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. They lie to you about everything. I ordered a bed frame 5 months only with the promise it would be delivered within that 8-12 week frame and I understand things have slowed due to COVID but that’s not the issue, it was their lies and manipulation. They should’ve told me the bed had not been manufactured and wasn’t going to be for a while instead of telling me it would be delivered soon. I’d call once a month for an update and each time the lady Tia kept telling me it would be delivered the following week and it wasn’t. Finally I wanted to cancel in which they told me I’d have to pay a 30% restocking fee for something that wasn’t even produced yet or in the warehouse just so they could get money out of me. The staff and manager James were all incredibly rude and would not talk to us, especially the manager James he would purposely ignore us knowing we had a huge problem and wanted to cancel the order. Tia would not hear me out or even want to know the reason for cancellation she gave me attitude and said people have been waiting since July of last year for their furniture which is ridiculous. INSANELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, rude staff, lies and scam. Will never order from here again and told my entire family to never order from here. There’s 4 other furniture stores literally within a .25 mile from Ashley’s so please check out those stores instead to save yourself.

Mary Jane was our salesperson and she was excellent. Helpful, knowledgeable, and not pushy at all. We were there for 1.5 hours with two kids under 2 and she helped without rushing us. We ended up buying furniture for 3 rooms instead of 1 like we originally intended. The store was clean, everyone was wearing a mask, and there was sanitizer everywhere. Great job, we will be back!

I ordered a sleeper sofa, chaise and coffee table on November 27, 2020 from Brookfield store. I was told by sales person there was a delay for delivery due to COVID-19 and I would get this delivered by end of February. February came and went, no delivery. I finally called the store in March several times and they said delivery now scheduled for April 3.Stayed home all day for delivery and two guys tried to get the chaise downstairs and said they could not, the chaise was too long. Very strange since I had movers fit a huge armoire, dresser and queen bed downstairs a few months before. They did not attempt to deliver anything else, no coffee table or sectional, when I asked they had a blank look on their faces. They just had me sign a document saying I had to contact the store and left with lounge, I never saw the other pieces of furniture so wondered if they were even on the truck. I was very confused and spoke to the manager Jeff, he said he would redeliver the furniture with a more seasoned guys since I questioned the delivery guys’ experience. I received a new delivery date for May 20.On May 20, two guys knocked on the door and said they had a chaise to deliver. They looked around and then told me, without attempting to get the chaise in the house, that the chaise would not fit downstairs that I need to go back to Ashley and pick something else that would fit. Again I asked for the coffee table and sleeper sofa, they said it was not on the truck. If you ordered 3 pieces of furniture why were they attempting to deliver the same piece that supposedly did not fit and not the other two pieces is beyond my comprehension. So many things did not make sense.I went back to the store and spoke to Scott. We checked the measurements and tried to get a smaller sleeper sofa, but it seemed the size was the same. Still none of this made sense to me, since the chaise was the only piece they physically tried to get in one time. Where were the other pieces of furniture? I asked Scott if there was a coffee table on the floor since that’s where I saw it originally, but it was gone. Scott checked on the other pieces as did Jeff on several occasions but no one has answers. Finally Scott said they were given to someone else. I was shocked! What company does business like this? I was waiting since February for this furniture, ordered last year in November and they gave it to someone else? Again this made no business sense to me.At this point I wanted my deposit back of $447.10 and I was told I would have to pay a restocking fee since that was on the contract I signed. Well, if I was told I would have furniture in February and didn’t get it and then again in April and then yet again in May and still didn’t get one of three pieces of furniture then I would say that contract is null and void. I was not only charged a deposit of $447.10, but also the remainder of the fee of $1788.37 of which I have an on-going dispute with my credit card company for. I gave Ashley ample time to get this right, I was more than accommodating about this, I made many calls, came into Ashley to straighten it out, spoke to the manager Jeff on numerous occasions as well as to customer service who for the most part had no idea what was going on. I hope this will be resolved soon. I am very disappointed in the way this was handled by Ashley and I will tell my friends and family about this as well. I would not recommend buying from them.

9 MONTHS!!! We ordered A BUNCH of furniture on August 23, 2020. We were told 8-12 weeks because of the pandemic. Fine. Understandable. 8-12 weeks came and went. I called and they were able to deliver our sofa, loveseat and some of our dining chairs. We were told the dining table and end chairs would come in January. Again, fine. January came and went. I called again. Our dining table was slated to go to someone else who ordered it AFTER us. Thankfully I called. The manager switched the table to us. Again, I had to call to confirm that delivery. We were then told our end chairs were coming in May. I called last week and was told they were in. We were given choices of what date for delivery. I chose today, May 29th. No call last night. I called the store and they “don’t know what happened,” but our order wasn’t on the dispatch for today but they have all next week available. I will never shop there again, and neither should anyone else. When I’m done, I expect a HUGE credit back to us.Update, the manager was supposed to call us back two days ago to make this right and I’m still waiting.Finally, since I cannot reply to the stores response: Why did I have to wait to get angry to find out why my delivery was delayed? I should not have to call you to find out why my delivery never happened when it was scheduled to happen. It is on you to notify me of a change to my scheduled delivery for my order of nine months. Also, I have received no indication about what you are going to do for me to make up for this. So your form response doesnt cut it. I will still never buy anything from there again. Ill either go with the Norwalk store because they have their act together, or I will simply use another company altogether.

Order all my furniture with the help of James Peterson over the phone, while looking online. I received the furniture during the time period I was told to expect. Delivery and set up quick and seamless. The furniture looks spectacular and is so comfortable. Everything flows perfectly from room to room. I’m absolutely thrilled and grateful for James’s help. Found out the exact type of firmness we should be using and the new technology used in the bases are a legit game changer on quality of sleep. UPDATE: ordered a sofa and loveseat. Received my sofa about 3 weeks after ordering. STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY LOVESEAT. its been 4 months. Keep getting jerked around.1st it was defective2nd it was damaged beyond repair3rd they thought it was in, but had damage to it4th Husband talked with Scott ( now store manager or General manager, something like that. He said they think it is in, but will call next day to make sure. It has been almost 3 weeks, no phone call. So 4 months no loveseat. Losing my patience.We came in 2 weeks ago and was introduced to our salesman Scott. He gave his speech and let us go do what we wanted. I like that. I dont like to be followed. My wife and I were looking to buy a new living room set. We had all the intentions of hitting four stores. Ashley’s happened to be the first one. We were greeted at the door by James Patterson. Well to make a long story short, he left such a great impression on us. He was polite, very knowledgeable And gave us our space. Every time we had a question he was there. Brookfield Store: Furniture is nice but business lacks communication between departments. Originally ordered 2 couches(full) and a chair on 12/6 and paid in full. Left store and recieved a phone call saying one couch they didnt have but could replace with a larger couch, we said fine. We had a delivery date set for 12/22. On 12/21 at 6pm we receive a phone call saying they no longer have the couches. They offered a floor model at a discount, fine we agreed with a promise they would try for before Christmas (as we had family coming). That did not happen but they said 1/2 would be our delivery date. On 1/2 I called and was told a delivery was never scheduled but they would deliver it the following Tuesday 1/5, again I agreed. On 1/4 I was contacted by the delivery company saying it would come 1/6. Eventually our couches arrived. Our 3rd item was set for 1/20 delivery, i called on 1/20 and was told they would call to check on it, did not receive a call back so called again the following day and was told 2/15 it should come.Overall a extremely frustrating experience and every phone call I make someone blames someone else in the company for the issue. No one calls to update me on any order, even though they took full payment on December 6th. Sadly once this final piece comes I will never return to this particular store.

But let me just say the initial review was based solely on the discussion between your representative at this location and the lack of giving us options. Certainly if it would have been explained the way you explained to me and my wife, this review would not have been necessary. I would hope going forward the personnel in this store not just say NO but provide alternatives and options when questions like these are posed. We appreciate your phone call and concern over this matter and providing alternatives.So we purchased some bedroom pieces for my daughter back on 30 January. I was told at the time delivery would not be until late or middle March. OK fine. So my daughter wished to change one item on the order. They claim I was told I had 72 hours to cancel or change order. FALSE. Never told. Ok on back of contract. Told because of COVID (yeah everyone blames COVID) delivery would not be until middle March. And I had no problem with that but you mean to tell me that for an item still over 1 month away from being delivered nothing could be changed? Not cancelled but changed? In addition, if your excuse is that piece is being made, well I doubt that piece could not go to someone else? This will be the first and last items we will ever purchase from Ashley Furniture.

HORRIBLE experience. I ordered a table and they said it would take 10 weeks before delivery. We waited the 10 weeks and heard nothing. I called them and they informed me it would be another MONTH. I said that was unacceptable and they offered to give us the floor model. I didnt even ask for money off of my purchase, I simply agreed because I am without a kitchen table. They scheduled my floor model for delivery. I waited home all day and they NEVER showed up or called. When I called they again informed me that they didnt know what happened but I wasnt getting the table that day. At that point I was pretty upset but agreed to yet another delivery date. They never called to confirm the delivery time so I called them. The woman said to me that she didnt even have my name on her list for deliveries going out AT ALL. So today YET AGAIN I am not getting my table delivered. This is horrible customer service, horrible management and I will never purchase another piece of furniture from this company again.

James and Julie ( Brookfield, CT store) were absolutely fantastic!! We went into the store and James met us with a smile and truly made us feel like valued customers from the start to the finish!! We expected to get either a fire table for outside OR a sofa / loveseat combo. We did not expect to get both, as finances are a bit tight. James was able to help us get EVERYTHING we wanted (no holding back on extras) for WELL under what we thought it’d cost. He found every discount he could for us and hooked us up through their leasing program. Julie was just as superb, as she was the final step for all of our financing pieces. We spent a total of two hours there and not once were we treated as a bother. It took the two of them an hour to find a way for us to get everything we wanted at a price that worked for us. When I tell you five stars is not enough for customer service, I truly mean it. I will absolutely be going to the store for any future furniture purchases. They were professional, informative, and most importantly....personable. They’re also big pet lovers, which is a major plus!! Ten stars for James and Julie.

Just purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress and adjustable base. Scott was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He explained the differences between the mattresses and what would give the best nights sleep, which is so needed. Rob, the store manager offered us the best deal. Looking forward to our new bed.

Went in just to look around since it was the last place we went to look at mattresses and was blown away by the service we received. We were helped by Scott there, and he has to have been the most knowledgeable person weve met on these topics that weve met, actually showed us a difference between everything and went above and beyond to find us the mattress that would be best for us. They also gave us the best pricing we saw while looking around since me and my wife need a specific kind of bed since we both have bad backs. So overall great visit, highly recommend this place!

My experience from Ashley has been nothing but awful. I bought a sectional couch in the middle part of February and was told we would receive our furniture in April. It is now almost July and they still have not delivered our furniture.I understand COVID-19 had something to do with the delay, but we were unable to contact anyone for 3+ months to discuss our order. When I spoke with the manager of the location to complain his response was I didnt even know if I had a job last month. This location an/or company is poorly run.

This Ashley location (Brookfield) was clean and well designed. The sales representatives are available but not overwhelming as some can be. We were fortunate enough to have Will C. help us in our search. Will answered our questions thoroughly and was very patient as my husband and I figured out what would be best for our family. In the end, Will was wonderful and his honesty and recommendations truly guided us in the right direction. We can’t wait to get our new sofa in our home!!

After watching us look at a few sofa/love seat sets and speaking with us, Scott recommended we check out a set we hadn’t seen, which ultimately ended up being the set we fell in love with. I ordered furniture 3 months ago and was told it would be 6 to 8 weeks max for delivery. Here we are 12 weeks later and when I call I keep getting the same run around. They have been paid and can not fulfill their order, and their CS dept acts like its not their issue. If you call their corporate office they tell you they DO NOT service the Connecticut locations and can not find your order in their system. I believe I have been more than patient with the false promises of delivery dates and lack of communication from the CS dept, when I asked for a return on my order I was told NO because its been over 3 days since my order that they have NOT and can NOT fulfill has been placed. Now Im sitting here waiting for a manager to call me back for the last 20 min and was told by their CS Dept they are working on getting me an updated ETA.This is an update here we are a week later and only false promises of delivery and was given 3 diffrent delivery dates yesterday, first it was Monday then next Saturday and now possibly a month from today, all these dates were given to me in one phone call. I dont understand why they cant be honest and do the right thing. I have asked the manager of the brookfirld store to call me repeatedly but I got nothing I ask for a refund because they cant fulfill an order and im told NO!This is no way to run a business the CS is horrible and in a day where the internet is your biggest competitor, you think their CS would be more on point.
