We were on the fence about finishing the basement. Our 3rd child was on the way, and we were less than 6 months out, and decided we needed to either decide to do it ourselves, and potentially spend the next 1 to 3 years doing it, and potentially still having to bring in a plumber, an HVAC guy, and/or an electrician, or, see what kind of quotes we could get.Up front, we decided if we were going to pay someone to do it, they were getting the permits, they were going to come up with the design that matched the rest of the house, and share actual blueprints with us, they were going to stick to a timeline, and most importantly, they would need to manage the process for us (I didnt want to call and pay and manage all of the different vendors myself, or harass them if they didnt show when they were supposed to.We got 5 quotes, seeking above standards, to build a living room w/ gas fireplace, 1/2 bath, bedroom, and storage room.Quote 1 - About half what we ultimately spent. No permit. Cash only. Needed to pay each contractor separately. 6-8 month commitment. Quote only voice, no documentation.Quote 2 - about 10k less than we ultimately spent. Promised to be able to meet our requirement within 6 months, but we would have to pull permit.Quote 3 - Quote we ultimately took with Cabinetree. Came out with whole crew, every contractor/vendor at one time to see the space, talk to us. Itemized, detailed, line item quote. With draft blueprint and 3D renderings, including lighting, electrical, HVAC plans. Discussion to make tweaks. Once we agreed on price, no overages even if changes after, that was the quote and all set.Quote 4 - Similar price. Ballpark, never came to look at our place, and didnt show to our meeting.Quote 5 - About 10-20k less. Gentlemen said he would do all the work himself. If we wanted him to pull permits, it would be extra. Said he would bring blueprints, but brought some rough sketches on paper. Said this was a side gig so it would probably take him 9-10 months.Ultimately, we went with Cabinetree. Upon signing, the demo began within a few days. Permits pulled. Basement looks exactly like the rest of the house. Project completed on time, on budget. My wife and I literally did nothing in the process other than write checks when reaching agreed to milestones, and give feedback for minor tweaks while basement started to take shape. It was a fantastic experience, and changed our opinion of the contracting/build/design field. We give our highest recommendation.

I went in looking to do a $20,000 fireplace remodel mimicking the design that they had in their show room. The salesman said I should go to a fireplace store! Not impressed.

We couldnt be more thrilled with our experience with Chris and the Cabinetree team. From the very beginning they listened to our needs and were able to remodel our home within budget to both a functional and jaw-dropping space that we are very excited to share with others. They didnt just tell us what they could do, they showed us and hit the mark perfectly! Our lead contractor Jim was amazing and very detail oriented. He was very calming and assuring to us as we navigated through the renovation. We had different contractors working in our home throughout the process and they were trustworthy, respectful and the best in the business. They worked quickly and efficiently, cleaned up every day and were very clear about the renovation timeline with no guessing games. Our lead designer Rachael listened, communicated and advocated for us during the entire process. If we had any questions or concerns they were addressed immediately by Chris himself. An entire home remodel can be a stressful experience, but The Cabinetree Team made it a positive experience and we couldnt be happier with our new space. Thank you!!!!!

We hired Cabinetree to do a full kitchen/partial first floor remodel. They were a dream to work with from start to finish. From their beautiful showroom and design staff who helped us make choices for our home, to the carpenters who worked with us to make sure we got the fireplace mantle we always wanted and the front doors (completely redone) that finally keep out the cold draft. And the thing that surprised us the most was that they stuck to the very detailed schedule they provided and finished the project on time! Chris and his crew were very professional, listened to what we wanted, and were very easy to work with. We look forward to future projects!

On June 21st, 2019 I dropped off drawings for 2 vanities that we wanted quotes on. I spoke with Lisa and she said that she would email me the quotes on June 24 or 25th. Here it is July 2, 2019 and have not received the quotes or any explanation as to why the delay. Very disappointed!Update July10,2019...I’ve changed my rating to 3 stars because Cabinetree called to explain to me that unfortunately my timing requirements for the quote on 2 vanities was not passed on from the sales person to the design/quoting person. I was told that they normally process quote requests on a first in first out basis and that they have “changed their process” to accommodate special timing requests.

Top notch all around. They buck every contractor stereotype out there. On time every time, great quality, and great communicators. Would recommend without hesitation.

We could not be happier with the work performed by Cabinetree from the original estimate to scheduling to the quality of work to completion in a timely manner...I would highly recommend Cabinetree to anyone..5 stars all the way...
