Liam was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. The couch we initially picked up didn’t fit through our door, so Liam helped us pick out something more appropriate for the space with no hesitation. They were so wonderful, it was such a quick and easy process to get my furniture. Luckily, the first furniture I had picked out with them didnt fit through my door so they had to take it back. Liam was extremely helpful and incredibly courteous throughout the whole buying process. When all the surrounding furniture stores were sold out on their inventory, he had the foresight to replenish his stock before the shortages occured. I purchased a very reasonably priced sofa with an adjustable chaise lounge. These people are so unnecessarily rude. I had made an appointment for 5:10 and when I showed up no one was there. They had sent me a text the next morning blaming their software saying it added the appointment to their calendar an hour early at 4:10, which I completely understood. All I responded was that it was unfortunate that their software wasnt working and the response I received was Its also unfortunate you chose not to read our confirmation text from 2:15 PM.I wouldnt be surprised that if they messed up something for a customer, this is the kind of attitude the customer would get.

Drove all the way out here with my friend to get a couch and they were closed. Even though we came within opening hours. We also called but no one answered. Just a heads up on the door it’s by appointment only

Midwest Discount Furniture will from now on be the first place to contact for new furniture. Liam and Alissa were both terrific in responding both via email and text. When their guys delivered, the closet door rails were damanged. The delivers left, went to menards, bought a replacement and left it at our door even though my husband told them to not worry about. Not all the hardware was sent for the bed frame we ordered (Not MDFs fault). Liam contacted and had them send it right away to our house. Since then, I wanted to buy a matching ottoman to a chair we bought. I literally texted them with what I wanted and Liam responded right away. I was invoiced and paid it within 15 minutes. I honestly feel spoiled with the excellent customer service we have gotten and tell everyone we know to check them out before buying any furniture!.

My review is a little late, but here it is nonetheless because Liam and his business 110% deserves the 5-star rating.During the earlier weeks of the quarantine, I decided to search for a new dresser. Sure enough, after coming across one that fit my needs in terms of style and size, I searched to see where I could get the best price for the item (because why not save if you can). Midwest Discount Furniture had the best deal on the dresser than I was able to find anywhere else. The price was literally cut in over 50% in comparison to the other businesses selling the same exact item. I immediately sent an email with a few questions on the dresser and how to order it, and Liam got back to me in about 30 minutes or so. He let me know that the item was on back order and gave an exact date of when it would arrive about a month after, which worked out just fine for me. Placing the order was quick, easy, and secure. However, being that it was during the quarantine, unexpected events did happen as my dresser was being pushed back further to several more weeks. Liam made an accommodation to make up for the delay without me even asking for it, which I really appreciated. He was very responsive to my concerns and emails, and he was very honest and specific in keeping me in the loop of everything that I honestly never felt frustrated or considered taking my business elsewhere. Upon picking up my item, Liam was so kind to help lift it upon the back of the truck. My dresser came in perfect condition and very sturdy. So its a 5/5 for the dresser in consideration of price and condition it came in/condition it still is in. Its a 5/5 for Liams customer service - you can really tell he goes above and beyond to ensure his customers are happy. The overall experience was 5/5 in terms of what is offered, the competitive prices, and most of all for the professional and friendly service. I highly recommend this business to everyone who is looking for the best prices on furniture as well as for exceptional service.

I have no idea how this place has so many good reviews! I am so disappointed. Very poor communication. My order was significantly delayed and I was never updated about the change in delivery times. We had to keep contacting them for updates. Our order arrived scratched and gouged, with areas that were obviously tried to salvage by covering with marker. Never again will I place an order here no matter how much money it saves me! I could’ve gotten most of these items on Amazon for just about the same price and faster shipping actually.Edit to add: this is my maiden name. The order was placed in my husbands name. I would be glad to provide pictures of the defects as well.

The tables did require some assembly but it was easy and did not take very long at all. One table did have a small scratch. I informed Liam about the damage. My daughter needed a complete bedroom set, and we were able to get a chest, two nightstands, and a bed for under $800. The set is gorgeous, and the service was impeccable. A husband and wife teams runs the business, and because they dont maintain a huge brick and mortar showroom, theyre able to sell their products cheaper. To find furniture look on-line and then give them a call. Delivery is cheap, $75, or you can pick it up. I will absolutely shop with them again.

We highly recommend Midwest Discount Furniture. We were looking for a dresser, rocking recliner for our nursery, as well as, a living room rocker recliner and sectional. We were referred to this place by a friend and decided to check it out in person. The prices seemed to good to be true for the quality of furniture. We met Liam, the owner, who was a very nice guy. The warehouse is small and has some items on display. I did most of my shopping on his website. The ordering process and delivery were very simple. I received my furniture within 1 week. We put down a little more than half on our sectional and let us pay the rest at delivery, which he did personally and for free because of a short delay that was Ashley Furnitures fault not his own. This was my first time ordering furniture from Midwest Discount Furniture and to be honest I was a little skeptical at first just because the prices were so reasonable and Im always hesitant to order things online, and it was my first big purchase from them but I can honestly say that I am SO happy that I went through them instead of going directly to a big name furniture store. Wow, I wish I knew about this place sooner! By far the best furniture shopping experience. We met Liam and learned how this works then left to explore an Ashleys. Found a couch we loved and typed the name into the Midwest Discount Furniture website. In luck, there is was! $782 in store at Ashleys and $589 through Midwest! Also saved $5 on delivery plus they finance. Really enjoyed working with Liam too! Our couch was out of stock so we have to wait a couple extra weeks, but were ok with it. Definitely consider this place, well worth it!

My husband was skeptical to look in to Midwest Discount Furniture because it wasnt like your typical furniture stores. But after meeting with Liam, we are both glad we checked it out. We wound up purchasing an Ashley bedroom set for our daughter and paid quite a bit less than if we were to have purchased from an Ashley store. If youre looking to save money on the same furniture you would purchase from the big guys, check him out. You wont be disappointed.
