Cindy, Jeff, Adam and the mechanics were all so wonderful. They worked with me in my 2 hour window for my very needed last minute oil change before a long drive.These types of appointments normally stress me out - I always feel like I’m going to be taken advantage of, or the mechanic won’t have my best interest in mind. Finding a good auto service shop is hard, it’s like trying to find a good dentist. I was put to ease immediately when I spoke to them on the phone. When I arrived - I was slightly nervous I was going to be scolded for my crazy time needs - but no - they were SO very welcoming, friendly, and great to converse with. I just got home from leaving this place, Im m not one to leave reviews on establishments but this one is MUCH DESERVED!!! My car was making a funky noise and automatically knew it was my brakes, not knowing much about cars I Google places and came across Hollywood Motors. Me saying they went beyond and above to do what they could for me is not enough.  When I called to make the appointment I spoke with Ragu, he was amazing from beginning to end . Taking me home so I wouldnt need to be at the shop all day to picking me up so I could get my car. He originally told me my car would be ready the next day but when I started stressing that I had just started a new job and had already missed a day just to take my car in, he and the team worked hard and got my car done by the end of the night!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would . Thank you so much to Ragu and the employees at Hollywood Motors !!! Would definitely be doing business with them again if I ever need it !!!

This place is the best. The staff went out of there way to fix my exhaust system. Adam found the parts that were needed and the mechanic worked a miracle and saved my catalytic convertor. The staff goes out of their way to make a happy customer.

By far the best service shop I’ve ever used. Professional friendly and transparent. Honest and up front. Doesn’t try to add on unnecessary services. The computer tracking for your vehicle is a huge plus and allows you to view your vehicles history and see visually Items and areas being serviced and or discussed. Would highly recommend them!

Finally!! A mechanic you can trust in! Adam and his technicians are top notch. I was referred to them by my gf that lives down the road from the shop. I drove over 30 minutes to bring my car here and I could not be more happy to have done that. From the beginning the customer service was excellent. Friendly faces, warm conversation and service with a smile. They took the time to do a full inspection of my vehicle and send me pictures and the status of all the key components of the car. There is plenty wrong with my car as its 10 years old with 180,000 miles on it. However, they did not push me to fix everything at once. They were honest with me and told me what was urgent and what wasnt. One of their technicians even went for a ride with me to make sure that the sound I was hearing, was the same as he was hearing. This gave me so much confidence that they wanted to do the job right. They were slammed but they still made time to take my care the same day and got it back to me that afternoon. I had some suspension issues with a broken stabilizer bar and was in need of an alignment and a few other minor things. I paid a fair price and my car is running smooth again. They didnt scoff at me for bringing them a car with such high miles and in bad shape, instead they told me they could fix it and that my car still had plenty of life to it. I like them so much that I am now taking my moms car to them and as long as I live in Illinois, I will be bringing my car to Adam and his Techs. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I had even done business with this business a couple of times.I really would recommend this business for anyone who needs car repair. The staff is very courteous, helpful, and will let you know what is recommended and how much it will cost.I will do business with them again. My girlfriend even loved them when she had to have new radiator hoses put on her truck.

I recently was told that my brakes needed to be done by several different local shops. The quotes were outrageous!!! I have an older vehicle and the prices to get my brakes done, were MORE than the car was worth! I was hearing a scraping metal kind of sound, no grinding and the brakes felt okay.......so I had a friend of a friend say it was just the pads and he can change them at his shop for $120. I had it done and was on my way, but the scraping sound was still there, also louder than before! By this time, I had had enough. I feel woman are clearly taken advantage of and it is assumed that we know nothing about cars. I saw the 5 star reviews for Hollywood Motors and called immediately. I spoke with Adam and described the issue I was having. I got a good vibe instantly.....he was courteous and friendly. He told me to come by the next day to look at my car. As I pulled up the next day, he immediately knew who I was. His instinct was that it was NOT my brakes and it was something with the pads or hardware kit for the pads. Sure enough, the put it up and there was no hardware for the brake pads!!! They were scraping on my roters !!! I could not believe this other mechanic took advantage of me like that!!! Adam and Meriano were so honest and professional. They took the time to explain everything to me and actually SHOW me everything! By this time, the owner Jeff heard the story and was so upset about what happened to me, he told them fix it right then and there and gave me an amazing deal!!! No appointment, no waiting. The customer service, honesty and loyalty this establishment provided, was above and beyond!!!! I want to thank the mechanic G, Adam, Meriano and Jeff for the excellent service. Im so glad I found this place. My family and I will never go anywhere else! If I could give them 10 stars, I would! :)

I wouldn’t go anywhere else. And it’s the place to tell my friends to go. Honest, humble, and a shop that actually helps you out. Long story short had to take my car in for what I thought was gonna be a new engine repair, no fun. But meriano worked with me and his crew to find out I didn’t need a new engine, fixed the actual issues and had my car back to me looking and driving great. The owner is a cool guy, straight shooter, always reminds me of talking to my dad. Haha. Take your business here, i promise you will be happy.

I had 2 conflicting opinions from 2 different professional mechanics and didnt know what to believe. Hollywood Motors was recommended to me. I made an appt & brought in my car. Adam called & said l could come see what his mechanic was looking at. So l did. And they proved to me the repair was not needed. I asked the mech if he would drive his kids around in my car & he said yes. That means a lot. Not all mechs let you into their bays. I was impressed they went that extra mile to actually show me. Adam did not charge me for their time, effort & professional opinion. The shop was neat, well-ordered, clean and light. You are in good hands with Hollywood Motors. Definately an asset to our little town!

I brought an Audi A4 with multiple issues, not only are they friendly and professional but the workmanship and honesty is incredible, they are able to handle all types of issues with their highly experienced mechanics, i have brought them a Mustang years ago and they did and incredible job yet very honest prices. I dont see a reason to go anywhere else.

I never thought I would be so passionate about a vehicle repair shop but these guys go above and beyond every single time. Weve taken two vehicles to them over the last year and have been very satisfied. Im shocked at how customer centric they are. From giving rides, offering (free!) loaners for extended repairs, and my favorite, they actually took my car to the vehicle emission testing facility to make sure it would pass, saving me the trip. They are always friendly, patient, and reasonable. Im used to taking our cars to a dealership for repairs but Hollywood is significantly less expensive and easier/more fun to deal with. They also wash your car and leave M&Ms for you when theyre done. Highly recommend!

Best car repair facility in the Western Suburbs and So worth a drive to visit. Family run and totally customer oriented. I have never been sold any repair that the vehicle did not need, and the prices are reasonable given the quality of the work.

Ask for directions as they are a bit off the beaten path but WELL worth the drive. I have an older truck and Hollywood motors keeps it in great running shape. Quality service beats a monthly car payment any time! Adam is the best and the whole staff will take good care of you.

The guys here are honest and reliable with reasonable prices. Their friendly and helpful and you dont have to worry that they will suggest unnecessary work. Plus, they have a really nice customer lounge with free coffee and snacks, TV, and activities for the kids if you have them with you.

The service was fast and easy, they took me in even when they were backed up and made sure I got my car the next day at the soonest possible time, when no other auto shop would. Adam and Joshua are great friendly guys that know how to treat customers right and also interact with them. The price is well worth the money because you know you are getting expert service and care. As only a 17 year old, I try to do everything I can on my car myself, but when I cant, I rely on them as my number one shop. Great place!

Josh and crew are top notch. I have a 72 VW Bus and as I am sure you can imagine, there are always issues cropping up on me :) Hollywood motors is definitely the place to take a new car or an old car. They take their time, do excellent work, an even wash your car by hand when they are done. Last year I purchased new rims for my car. I went to Hollywood to have them installed as they are a recommended installer by Tire Rack. They did a fine job..or so I thought. Last week I took the car in for an oil change and as I was paying my bill, Josh informed me that my tires were on incorrectly. Seems the back tires were on the front, and the front back. Josh said whoever rotated the tires did it incorrectly. I looked at Josh and told him that Hollywood Motors was the last company to touch my tires. He responded by saying nothing. I was quite miffed, and became more miffed when he let me drive away. I went to a friends home over the weekend and fixed the problem myself in 20 minutes. There are other places to take my business..and I will. I hope the oil change was done correctly. You, the reader, decide what the rating should be.

After searching for auto shops that do oil changes I came across Hollywood motors. Adam was the one who helped me out. The customer service at this place is unmatched. The staff was very personable and made an effort to get to know me while I was waiting. I did not feel pressured to get additional work done although they did recommend some. Their work was clean and fast and theyre waiting room is very at home.They washed my car and even gave me some jelly beans as a thank you.I will be back in the future

I was greeted by the staff upon entering the shop and relieved at the level of kindness & competence I received. It has become a great worry for me, not knowing if a particular shop is going to do a good job on my car. The first thing I noticed, was all the certificates on the wall. That lets me know that the mechanics are well trained and up to date on todays highly technical vehicles. I was given a brief tour of the facility and was VERY impressed at the cleanliness of the mechanics work area. My car was repaired promptly and at a reasonable price. You get what you pay for and I highly recommend this Auto Service. When I went to start my car, there was a thank you card on the steering wheel with some sweets attached, sooo sweet! My car was clean and looked beautiful. My car was in an accident and not only did it look good, but they showed me a printout of the framework, to confirm that the frame was straight. After getting home, already feeling good about my car, I went to put my emergency kit in the trunk and what to my surprise, was all my replaced parts in the trunk. I, for the first time, got to see and dispose of my damaged or defective parts. No other shop in my life has done that. And I am not a spring chicken. LOL

Ive used Hollywood a few times for oil changes and A/C fixes. Everytime is a pleasant experience and involves an honest explanation of what needs to be done. Tried several auto shops in the Brookfield/Chicago area. This one is by far the best in terms of customer service and transparency.

Adam and the other gentleman who work here are very helpful and professional. Its the most pleasant mechanic shop Ive ever been too, and I feel like Im saving money instead of having unnecessary work pushed onto my car.

First, they installed the wrong TPMS on my rims after I suggested they contact a dealership to confirm the proper frequency for my specific car. When I took my car back to them to have the proper TPMS installed they damaged one of the rims. At first, I was given the runaround, then they told me they would replace the wheel. I told them I would be happy if they just had my wheel fixed. Adam told me he would check around to find a place to do the work and get back to me in a couple days. That was several months ago. The damage to the wheel was done by accident Im sure but the misleading of a paying customer was done intentionally. I wouldnt trust this place to properly put air in a tire now.

This place rocks. My battery dies 4pm on Friday before holiday weekend. They answer the phone with such cheerfulness and tell me to come on over..I think I might be getting punked. But they get me in immediately and I sink into a comfy leather couch with a full free snack bar and loads of reading material. The price is right and Adam and Josh define customer service. I should have been coming here way before now. So refreshing! Thank you Hollywood Motors!
