Mike took the time to help me troubleshoot some dryer issues. I thought I needed an additional part to fix it but he convinced me otherwise. Completely stand up guy. Any other person would have taken my money and sent me on my way.

Great experience.Somebody told me about this place so I went in trying to do a good fellow resident of Lyons a favor he asked and see if we could find him a knob for his oven because he was cooking Easter dinner for his family so I went over there and the gentleman was extremely friendly I think He was the owner of the place him and his daughter I think he showed me a couple of pieces and one that was the best fit the most to the original I swapped a couple of screws on that and he says you can take it it is free so I felt like this guy got the idea of me doing a favor to a friend and in turn he helped me facilitate these better for my friend so he could cook Easter dinner for his family great place friendly friendly people over all great place.

Fantastic option when you dont want to blow money on buying a new appliance. Prices are affordable. The owner was super friendly and helpful. The delivery guys were great. They took out my old washer and installed the one bought from them. And they even connected the new washer. $287 all-in. These guys are 110%! I highly recommend them.

This review is overdue, but better late than never! Several months ago when we were all in lock-down our washing machine started making a terrible noise and we were afraid it was finished. Who wants to go shopping for a new appliance in the middle of a pandemic?Then we remembered this store had just opened a few blocks away. I called in the early afternoon and a repairman arrived before the end of the day. He performed the diagnostics, walked me through everything he did and was extremely courteous and pleasant. It was only after turning the machine over that he noticed a bolt securing the belt in place had fallen out. After popping it back in, the washer was good as new. We only paid the standard service charge, which is reasonable compared to other local repair services weve used. Ill definitely call them again!

Went there today looking for a drive belt for my dryer. I walked out of there with the belt for a reasonable price. Glad they moved to brookfield, I will be coming back in.

I have been doing business with Maywood Appliances for several years now. Mike, Madonna and Drew are professionals! My husband and I have a few rental properties and they have serviced all our appliances in a timely manner. What really makes this company stand out though, is their honesty. If they feel the appliance doesnt warrant repair, theyll tell you! We have purchased several new appliances from them as well. We highly recommend this company.

My family has always bought appliances since i can remember from them in the maywood location. We were always on a budget and we got great refrigerators washer and dryers from them. Just recently bought a refrigerator from them. Worked great and i had an issue. I called them up and they did not hesitate to come over. Their daughter came out To fix our fridge . Turned out to be nothing other than a plug that needed to be plugged in . She was great. And i also came home to meet her to fix the fridge, and had a flat tire. She gave me a number to call to even get my tire fix on the spot . She came in like family and left in hugging terms. Im by no means related to them but their customer service is more like family service . They are all wonderful .

When in today and bought a belt for a amana dryer. The man behind the counter asked me if I knew how to install the belt and i told him that I didnt have the slightest idea, so he went ahead and told me step by step on how to replace the belt. Customer service was great.

This family really knows how to run a business! Excellent customer service. Knowledgeable and totally forthcoming with information. A lot of repair places guard their expertise like a trade secret, Maywood Appliance treats their customers like friends. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I live in Brookfield and I will never go to another appliance repair shop as long as Maywood Appliance is around.

I was looking for an inexpensive mini freezer yesterday. They didnt have it and could simply have said that. The owner went the extra mile to remember where he had seen it on sale this week and let me know, That was going the extra mile to just be a kind and thoughtful business owner!

Went in to pick up a belt for my dryer. While I was there I asked about a burner that wasnt working and was shown how to clean out some small holes that may have been plugged. Tried it when I got home and fixed the issue.I really appreciate that they showed me the fix, rather than trying to get me to buy a part or bring something in for repair. Ill continue to use this place for parts/repairs now.

Both Mike and Madonna have serviced my cranky fridge, and I cant say enough about the personal service I get. Madonna literally remembers every single customer shes ever had! And I love that they try to save you money if they can fix a part instead of replacing it or the entire appliance. They take the time to educate you on how to take care of your appliances too. Its so rare to find a family-owned business that has been around this long, and really cares about their customers. I so appreciate it! Fan for life.
