It was the best experience for me in 40 years of servicing an automobile. Gabriel was honest and answered questions in detail so that I could understand the performance of the vehicle. Upon checking all my oil levels and topping as require and checking the alignment. He did not charge me a penny. The staff has always been very nice, and very easy to work with. I have been to Christian Brother Automotive now a hand full of times for oil changes and eventually a full brakes replacement. Unfortunately, after my brakes were redone there was still a squeaking noise that was coming about a month or so after they had been replaced. Not pleased about this, I called them, told them what was going on, and they immediately scheduled time for me to come in. Now as we all know, when we go to a mechanic for a problem we are having with our cars, it never seems to replicate itself while we are actually at the mechanic! They asked me to bring it back at my convenience when the brakes were squeaking. I eventually did, and we figured out quickly where the noise was coming from. Then without having to even ask, I was told “don’t worry, we will take care of this, and thank you for letting us know you had an issue”. I was so pleased that I didn’t have to ask what was next, and better yet, I didn’t have to haggle over anything! I scheduled an appointment, again for my convenience. A few days later I brought my car in. I noticed they were pretty busy, but I asked if they could also squeeze in an oil change while my car was already at there. They of course took care of me and my car, and I was able to pick it up later that day. Again, I know they were backed up a lot that day with other cars and appointments, but they took care of me (and my car). I left feeling pleased with the feeling that they did ultimately care about me and my car. That feeling is why will continue to be a long term customer of theirs! From out of town and needed two wheels bolts and lug nuts replaced… they were friendly, prompt and helpful but their labor rate is way too much! If I had more time I would have called around for a much better rate since the whole repair took less than an hour!

Called a left a message on a Friday for an appointment, they didn’t answer. Chose the online appointment option in the hopes that I would be able to secure a spot. Instead it just left a request but no actual appointment booked. Waited for them to call back. No one called all day Monday. Then I received an appointment booked note on Monday at 7 pm for the next morning at 8 am. They never checked if that worked for me. They should have called. I did not take my car there.

We’ve used this business three times now. The first two resulted in the car not being fixed and us returning to the shop. The third visit was a routine oil change, and they did not top off any of our fluids. Very disappointing. They did not offer to do it at a later time either. We are willing to pay a good price for good service- guess we will be looking for a new shop!!

Successfully replaced power steering fluid lines and sensor on 16 year old car. Fittings were rusty, but they waited overnight for penetrating oil to work its magic and didn’t strip the threads.

I was really impressed with everything about this place. The customer service was top notch, the pricing was very reasonable, the workmanship was better than a dealer, plus they have a courtesy shuttle that dropped me off, and picked me up at my office when my car was ready.I will definitely be a returning customer.

The guys at CBA were great. I was at Giant Eagle off 82 &77 and came out to a dead battery. I called my insurance co because I pay extra for towing and they told me it would be 2 hours because it was PM rush hour. I ordered the tow but walked across the street to CBA and they quickly helped me out with a jump charge and then tested my battery to find it needed to be replaced. They had the correct battery in stock and I was on my way in about 30 minutes. Wanted to charge me over a grand for a simple part replacement that needed done for my window control on my door. I did it myself for $35. much less than what they charged me for just the diagnostic! 125! what a ripoff. they also told me that my window motor was bad as well and that that needed replaced which was just not true.

Made appointment to replace motor for washer fluid not only was the price quoted $150 more than a second quote I got. I was charge $56 for them to look and tell me what I knew was wrong with it. I was not told there was a charge to to just determine the issue (which I already knew) when I made the appointment on the phone but when I dropped it off no one told me either. So I got stuck paying $56 to know what I already knew. I would suggest shopping around there are places that dont charge to determine issues and prices can be much more reasonable else where.

So before I took my van to Christian brothers I called them and asked if they are knowledgeable on sprinter vans. I wanted to verify so I don’t waste my time or theirs. That being said, here’s my experience with them. I towed my van to them and told them everything that had happened with the van. I told them about the fuel leak from a line, I said they could replace that first and then diagnose the issue. They charged me a $100 diagnosis fee just to tell me my fuel line was leaking. They then claimed “we will replace the fuel line and the van should be able to start”. I needed the line replaced anyways so it’s all good at this point. They got the part after a few days and replaced it and to their surprise it still wouldn’t start. So 2 days goes by and they got nothing for me. I stop into the shop and show them a video of my high pressure fuel pump moving a bit while cranking and further explained the issue I was having to maybe give them ideas where to look. So the next day the mechanic says we need to replace the high pressure pump for $2500 because the gear is chewed up badly and causing a no start. I tell them no, you can just replace the gear at the end of it and save me some money. Why replace the whole pump when even Mercedes told me the gear is what needs replaced? (Yes I called them to verify cause that’s $2500). (You guys are certified in sprinters huh?) So at this point I’m done with this shop because they clearly have no clue about these sprinter vans. They quote me $750 to replace the gear and the broken bolts. I asked him “has the mechanic checked the gear and can you guarantee this is the fix” he says “the mechanic looked at it and the gear is chewed up so this should fix the issue”. So I think about it and finally decline because again... if they were certified to work on these vans like they promised, they’d know that if that gear is chewed up, 99% of the time the other gear inside the head is also chewed and that’d be a several thousand dollar job which is not worth it on this particular van. So I pay them the $600 for the fuel line and the $100 diagnostic fee and I get it towed back home. I then proceed to find that my driver side interior was never put back together like I brought it to them (pictures attached, they needed access to the battery). I then take my high pressure fuel pump out to verify the “chewed up gear”. Guess what?? THE GEAR IS 100% PERFECT AND THEY WERE JUST THROWING PARTS AT IT ON A GUESS USING MY MONEY!!!! Never again will I go here or recommend anyone. This place is overpriced and a scam that’ll happily take your money even when they lied about everything from the beginning and lied about Checking my high pressure pump that they wanted to charge me $2500 initially. Look at the pictures and everything. Such a shame and I wish I could get all my money back besides maybe the fuel line part price $100-$200. Seriously before one of your reps even thinks about replying to this review with their little “omg I’m so sorry what can we do to make it right?” Listen this is real life and real money, wanna make it right? Refund me all my money. That will make it right because you guys did nothing but screw me around and waste my time and my money, didn’t even put my van back together how I brought it in.

I stopped in to this Shop randomly in the middle of the work day around 1pm because I had some noise coming from my one of my tires and a guy named Anthony helped me within a few minutes of being in the lobby and then he immediately asked for my keys so that he could bring my car into one of the garages to professionally diagnose the problem for me. It turns out that ABC Motor Service in Akron Ohio rotated my tires the day before and THEY DIDNT TIGHTEN MY LUGS NUTS on one of my four wheels. I could loosen 3 of the lug nuts with just my fingers.With my car up on the lift Anthony inspected just about everything he physically and visually could for me and when he turned my vehicle back over to me he gave me the confidence of knowing that the lugnuts were the only real issue with my vehicle. He didnt ask for any money for his time and he didnt try to sell me on any parts that I didnt need and he even discussed what things I should keep an eye on for the future. Great service from the guys here and I left the shop feeling better about my vehicle than when I went in. Couldnt ask for anything more than that from an auto shop. Thank you for making my day easier!

I really recommend Christian Brothers automotive to all of my friends and family. I go there trusting that I will not be ripped off, and that all repairs will be professionally done. I have always been treated with respect at both the Avon and Broadview Heights locations. I went to the Avon location for about 3 years before moving with my wife. Now that the Broadview Heights location is closer to us, I will definitely be using them more often. I havent been ripped off by a dealership in years, and plan to keep it that way. There are a lot of things I liked: - I was able to drop off my car without a previous appointment - I was called in a reasonable timeframe with a clear estimate - Work was completed as promised - The itemized invoice helped me to review the work that was completed.

I recently took my car to CBA for an oil change and I was very pleased with the service. They are very helpful and friendly in person and on the phone. I was sent a text confirmation after scheduling the appointment and a service summary after the work was done. Their shuttle service is also very convenient. I will definitely be using them again.

Took my 2017 WRX in for an alignment due to it pulling to the left on the highway after I replaced the struts. To counter the car pulling from the left, the steering wheel would have to be turned slightly to the right when going straight. Alignment should fix all of this.I requested the mechanics take my car on the highway to feel what was happening in the car to simplify the job. Christian Brothers completed the job and when asked if they took it on the highway, they said they didnt. Regardless, I tested it out myself and there was absolutely no improvement. Car still pulled to the left and the steering wheel was still off center. Called them up to ask what I should do and they asked me to bring it in again, so I did. They re-aligned it, showed me that their previous alignment wasnt done correctly and that they had fixed the pulling issue during this second alignment. They hadnt, the car was still pulling. After speaking with again, they said I could bring my car back in for a third time and they would take it on the highway to better understand the issue. Why wouldnt this happen the first time?! At this point I am very frustrated and disappointed with their work so I decide to just take my car to the Subaru dealership. The dealership gives me an alignment and the car no longer pulls on the highway and the steering wheel is straight... go figure...So in summary, if you want an alignment done, I wouldnt suggest going to christian brothers unless you feel like taking your car in at least 3 times to get it done right. Honestly 3 times may not be enough though! Hopefully me losing money there saves you from losing yours there too!

I took my car there and they lied about the work they did took to two other auto shops and they both said parts were never replace.Pkease i beg you find any other place to take your car.They hide behind the Title Christian but dont be deceived im 55 abd never have been si cheated and deceived before.Hope this review saves you from beign fooled and a ton of money i lost over 2500.00 and more than that faith in mechanics get two estimates and maje sure its not from them

The staff at Christian Brothers is awesome! They went above and beyond my expectations. We did have major implications to get my vehicle repaired due to unforeseen ceased parts that made the job way bigger and expensive than originally quoted. However, Matt Rentas made the proper adjustments for us to make sure we had a vehicle for a vacation that we had planned during the time my vehicle was stuck at their shop. They gave me a loaner twice to accommodate. I would only expect that type of service from a dealer, however they did that for us. I have brought to them my wife’s vehicle for repairs too. Couldn’t be happier that we found a honest, reliable, and well priced mechanic shop. No need to look elsewhere for a good shop that can be trusted.

I broke down on the Ohio Turnpike a long way from home. I goggled repair shops and lucky for me Christian Brothers came up. I called them and they were at the ready to help. Once my car was towed to there shop it was less than 2 hours they had me back on the road. I drive a lot so I need auto repairs more than most. I can tell you that locally it would have taken a shop two days to get the part and do the repair. Hats off to this friendly well run repair shop. My 18 year old son thanks you for getting me home for his birthday. Wishing you guys much success. Oh by the way one of the cleanest repair shops I’ve ever been too!!!

The service was perfect. I am very impressed by honesty and helpfulness of this shop. However, I noticed one issue with my car after I picked it up for my road trip (which was the sole reason I brought it there). The cruise control does not turn on anymore and the ABS/Esc Off sign turns on intermittently. This caused so much anxiety while I was not able to use my cruise control which is the main feature I use in my road trips. I look forward for it to be fixed.

Efficient service and uncanny honesty. After another mechanic explained my oil plug was stripped the only option was to get the oil pan replaced for a hefty cost. I went to Christian Brothers for a second opinion. Charles kept me updated constantly as I waited for the verdict. He took the time to investigate why it would cost so much. He even led me to the bay to show me the oil plug and its condition. Finally after I was so satisfied that a new oil pan was necessary he agreed to do the work the next. Here is the best part. I received a phone call after dropping my car off at the shop. The mechanics found a way to tap out the plug saving me hundreds of dollars by not having to get a new pan. They completed the work in amazing time and saved me a lot of money. I will be recommending them to any one who needs a car repair.

I take my car here all the time. I will still take my car here but was annoyed the last time I took my car here. I took my car in to get my brakes fixed. My wheel was shaking when I hit my break. I told them that. Hours later I get a call saying its not my breaks. So I said oh are you sure? They said yes. So took my car home for the weekend. Brought it back up on monday to see what was wrong with it. Longer story short IT WAS THE BREAKS. I was told that last time he did not take it for a ride to see. I like them I really do Im just annoyed with this one time. All other times its been great.

The people here are very nice, and will help you out when youre in a pinch. They also have fair prices. If you need to drop off your car, and dont have a ride back, they will drive you back for free.

This review is long overdue. My wifes car broke down back in November, in which one thing led to a domino effect of other problems. The staff and team at Christian Brothers were helpful, polite, and went beyond out of their way to get her car repaired in a timely manner so we didnt have to resort to a rental car for her in order for her to do her job. First impressions are important, and boy did they nail it! Clean, professional, transparent, trustworthy. I wish I started coming to these guys sooner! Having pictures on the record and an easy to navigate report of what needed urgent repair is a big bonus. Just one visit and I know my car better than ever before. My van broke down while I was driving cross-country. I found these guys online and saw they had great reviews. I wasnt disappointed. They were able to quickly diagnose and repair the engine so I was on my way before noon. They were very professional, and good at communicating the issue to me. I have had nothing but good experiences at Christian Brothers. They provide fair and honest work, and don’t gouge you with prices. The staff has always been so pleasant to work with as well. They’ve always been happy to help in a pinch, from filling up my tires when the GetGo was either broken or had a long line on my way to work, to very nicely replacing a headlight that was out that they noticed while filling up said tires for no cost. I will always happily give them my business, and highly recommend them.

I had gotten a flat tire earlier that morning. I needed my new tire put on, so I just randomly googled car repair near me. Christian Bros were super close to my work, and they got me in right before they closed at 6! They were all so nice, and I’m so thankful they got me back on the road!

My husband and I are from out of town and our windshield wiper broke. We went in and asked if they sold wipers and they gave us one for free! They were very friendly and kind!

Over 1,200 to fix a squeak in my drivers side back end.... not fixed! Now they want $500+ to fix again? The mechanic made a mistake! Not happy at all.... I feel had! Not very Christian.I spent allot of money to have my car fixed... it is not fixed :(

My truck starting acting funny on the way home from work one day, so I was in a pretty sour mood already. Being new to the area, I did not have a mechanic I knew or trusted yet. A quick search told me Christian Brothers were in my area and highly rated, so I gave them a call. Right off the bat, they were helpful, friendly and positive, which definitely helped change my own outlook on the whole situation. They shuttled me home and had an Uber pick me up the next day to get the truck, they had a detailed report sent by text with the option to approve or decline service, and just overall made the experience pleasant. Obviously no one wants to pay for costly repair service, but if you have to, I would rather give them my business and get a friendly face and welcoming environment. I will continue to use their services if needed. I interacted with Matt and Mike in the office or the shuttle ride, and Steve did great work on the truck; feels like nothing was ever wrong with it!

CBA always tries to save me money, never upsells. Its a great feeling to find a mechanic you can trust! I will continue to use CBA for all of my automotive needs. In fact, I live in Pittsburgh and drive 120 miles for service in Broadview Hts., OH! Ill never go anywhere else.

I thought they did an excellent job. They were very thorough on their analysis and sent a detailed report with very clear photos of all of the problem areas. There prices were very good and they were very helpful on the phone when I called with questions. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

What an absolute great group of guys! I live all the way by Cincinnati Ohio and was having issues starting my car. I stopped in to see these guys and I am so glad I did!! They closed at 6pm which I didnt know until I got there at 5:30 and they were still very friendly and helpful! Instead of telling me to set up an appointment they checked my battery out for me and even went ahead and replaced it for me. It is not everyday that you run into people that are really trying to help you out, but if these guys are going to be this helpful to a complete stranger, I can only imagine how great they would be if I were a regular customer!! If you live in this area I would STRONGLY recommend this automotive shop on just customer service and ethics alone. I really appreciate you guys helping me out today! You were a huge blessing!!

Had no idea this gem was ridge in the neighborhood. After buying an older cash car I knew I needed a great place to take it to and after reading the reviews, I knew it had to be here. Christian Brothers Automotive did a great job addressing a bearing and brake problem on my Lexus RX350. The location was convenient. After dropping off my car, they provided a free ride back to my office and soon after called with a diagnosis and price. The work was done to a high standard at a fair price. And, the service was exceptional. Highly recommended.

Great auto garage! I’ve taken our cars there a few times now and I’m always happy with the quality of service. They have a shuttle to drive you home or pick you up if needed. The lobby has comfortable couches, snacks, and drinks if you choose to wait. The whole place is extremely clean and well cared for. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I’m glad this new business has come to Broadview Heights! It’s a welcome addition to the community!

We keep using Christian Brothers because they do really good work. They are honest and they stand behind their work. I dont shop around for repairs, I rest easy and just take my car to them for service. They do a better job for me than the dealer.We dropped our car off — they gave us a ride to/from our home — they checked our records, checked the car and figured out what needed done. They keep on top of things, do good work and so we have no worries. Nice!

I have been to different places to have my car serviced and none of them have been like CB. I am so grateful for the ride home and the ride to get my baby after if was finished. They allowed me to be home to take care of things after a long day at work. They were so kind and upfront with everything. They sent me details on everything they were doing. Good quality work for a fair price. Not cheap, but fair. Focus on high-end services - shuttle service will take you home or back to work if you have to leave your vehicle. Trustworthy.
