Dropped by was told the Four runner wasn’t ready needed a repair. Called at least four times and was told it wasn’t fixed yet but the manager would call ASAP when it was repaired. No one ever called I called today and it was sold yesterday! I’m sure to family or the inside workers which is their prerogative but very u professional and unethical. Could’ve at least said “ not available “ DID NOT even call I had to call over and over.

Seen a truck posted on Facebook by them I liked came by here and checked it out. Super easy process, even programmed me a key fob with push button start and cleaned the vehicle up and put some fuel in it for me love my truck and Id for sure buy from here again.

If there was a way to post a negative star, I certainly would! I bought my daughter a 2009 Acadia...paid $8500 cash for it. It was a beautiful vehicle both interior and exterior. The very first evening my daughter drove it off the lot, the passenger window stopped working. She had stopped at Wal Mart on exit 7 and attempted to put the window up because it had started pouring the rain. She called me at home and I contacted Jon to see if he could go to her and maybe get the window up or at least help her put plastic over it. It was right at closing time, so I assumed he would help her out (side note...she couldnt really drive it due to the fact it was absolutely pouring rain...she had parked it under an awning while she called me and kept working with the window). Jons answer was she could bring the vehicle back to the lot and leave it and they would fix it the next day and she would have to pay for the part it needed. Her friend that had taken her to get the vehicle had already left and was on their way home (the friend had her 2 year old child with her and it was already getting late in the evening). I explained all this to Jon and asked if he could go to her and possibly help her secure the window with plastic or anything that would actually help her out. I know some of you are thinking, why couldnt she secure it herself, and thats what she ended up doing...she is in a high risk pregnancy and was trying to avoid getting sick from being out in the rain. However, Jon said she was too far up the road and he couldnt really go to her. So, she eventually got some help from one of the Advance guys and made it home, tired and wet. She had to buy a motor for the window which was about $30 and paid a local garage to install it....all together about a $50 expense. We live in Haysi, VA which is 73 miles from TLG, so it would have cost about that same amount of gas to take it to them to fix (remember he said she would have to buy the part herself). She ended up driving the vehicle about a month and a half when it started missing and would just die when she put it in park. It also had an exhaust leak and needed wheel bearings When she took it to have that fixed, that garage hooked it up to their computer and said it was showing timing chain issues. As she was driving it back home, it did indeed jump time or the timing chain broke...by this time we were all aggravated with it and decided we could not put anymore money in it. She called the office there several times and left messages, but no one responded. She actually called the other day and it went to voicemail...I called back from a different number and lo and behold they answered. Of course the only thing they offered is to fix it and of course her pay all labor and parts. They wouldnt even offer to haul the vehicle to them...we would have to pay to have that done also. Im not sure if it was Jon or the other guy (I dont even know his name), but whoever started texting her, but he insinuated she was lying about how long she drove it before it broke down, and he flat out called her a liar (not with those exact words of course), he said he always returns calls and her number was nowhere on his caller ID. He asked why shes just now calling to talk to them about it (its been broke down for the last month and a half)....he asked this after she had repeatedly told him and Jon that she had called several times and finally got frustrated and stopped calling. I know theres no lemon law in TN and I know weve just lost a large amount of money, but I felt they could have handled it differently. I also realize anytime you buy a used car, youre taking a chance that you might get a bad one. The main reason I think something shady was going on with this vehicle is because to this day, the check engine light has never come on..not once. I was told even an exhaust leak would have activated that. Anyway, my daughter has a good vehicle now that we got from a local dealer and I have the Acadia for sell for parts and Im out $8500!

Bought a yukon 18 months ago told use their finance company pay payments on time and can get something better and better rate then, now so far upside down in the vehicle I got there they wont even try to finance anything without paying 4500 down??? And my credit is 75 points higher then 18 months ago and I had to put 2000 in the yukon because of all the problems!!!!! Not a place you want to deal with!!!

I can only base this on one time going to look at a vehicle. It had a ton of issues and the guy got mad that I called them out on them. Then tried selling me a similar vehichle with 300k miles for the same price. Get real.

Bought vehicle after test drive on cooler spring day. John was extremely helpful. Bank financing was taken care of before test drive. Contacted John on arrival home of air conditioner not blowing cold air and no radio would not turn respond to touch screen. John requested us to return to lot next day to charge air conditioning. We were on there BEFORE 24 after purchase. I was determined that the air conditioning compressor needed to be replaced. So this truck that I bought, and required no financing or paperwork on their part was now going to need immediate work. Not only did he not offer to fix it, he did state they would pay half, but come to find out they quoted us over $100.00 OVER retail for the compressor and over $150.00 over for installation. ON something that was NOT working BEFORE it was sold. When asked about the radio, Johns reply was theres a guy down the street, I dont know why it wont respond. I have bought many used cars before and am firmly aware of the as is agreement, but I have never ran into someone that was so blatantly unconcerned with customer satisfaction, LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER we delivered them a $14,000.00 dollar check that they had to do nothing more than let us test drive a truck and be honest. I thought I would be returning to buy my son a car from them, but their true colors showed when they couldnt do the right thing less than 24 hours and fix the issues at a fair price for one, and for two to keep our business. We will never be returning and make sure that ALL Mountain States Credit Union Employee Members know NOT to purchase from here.

Wow! What a great team! I recently had the pleasure to work with Ted to purchase a Hyundai Genesis. I drove in from out of town and the entire process was flawless and easy and fast. First where do I start, oh not told about doc fee, no sign no where, rushed thru the sale, alarm lights on in car, car lot turned them off(they came back on before arriving home)bought warranty, after careful search at home, called finance company to cancel warranty and tax, northern acceptance in Bristol tenn said same loan amount and same duration of loan, after removing $995 plus $95 warranty tax. I told them no way this will is so, was told manager would call me back. Ive heard nightmares from people who bought cars from lots like this, never thought I would get the experience. Do yourself a favor run dont walk away from this car and finance company which which is heavily tied into lot. Run quickly.

If you need a gauge cluster repair these guys do a phenomenal job at a more than fair price. They were quick and friendly. They even followed up to see how I like the new LED lights.

I am so glad I stopped here last Saturday, they had the EXACT truck I had been wanting for my son but after looking around the lot there were quite a few I was interested in because they all seemed like good quality vehicles! They were so friendly and helpful during my buying experience and bent over backwards to get me financed even though I have less than perfect credit. This was our first experience with TLG Motors and it was nothing but great. Employees are very nice and knowledgeable. Repair work was at a great price. My husbands car has close to 300k miles on it and it now drives like a new car, so smooth and quiet!! We had a tune up, oil change, fuel treatment done, gaskets replaced and coil tubes cleaned. Bought a 12,995.00 vehicle that looked great and ran great and it started falling apart within 3 weeks...total repair estimate just on the safety concerns is over 18,000 dollars...NOT A TYPO!! EIGHTEEN THOUSAND!!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! RESEARCH TLG ON FACEBOOK, AND EVERY OTHER SITE GOOGLE BRINGS UP! Cant even drive what I bought cause the dealer impounded it for having major safety concerns, it cannot leave the lot unless its repaired, cant sue TLG cause they deny hiding the damage, they wont take it back, wont repair it...screwed!!!

I got my car from there back in October loved it, it messed up 2 weeks after driving it off the lot, i asked them to have it fixed, they refused to i just did research on the car fax because they did not show me the car fax and found out my car had five recalls on it, i called them and told them about the recalls and they refuse to help me with the car, all the workers are lazy and just wanting to get money off of you, If you want a good car do not go to them.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Bought a Toyota FJ Cruiser a few months back. Was looking at it and drove it with John because he told us he had to be with us and had to stay within 6 miles because of insurance. Noticed one of the pulleys was squealing on motor and he told us he would have that fixed. Went back to make a deal and it still wasn’t fixed but he said once again it will be fixed before it leaves the lot so we put $100 deposit down and took his word. A few days later we were going to pick it up and pay for it. When we got there it still made noise and he said well we couldn’t tell which one and we can’t replace all three so bring it back when it gets worse and we will GIVE YOU A GOOD DEAL ON FIXING IT. So we went from fixing it to giving me a good deal to fix it. That was my first mistake. We should have just lost $100 and walked away but I thought no, I’ll buy the $40 pulley and put it on no big deal and it was getting late anyway. On our way home from purchase once we got more that 6 miles away and could get up to speed we noticed a terrible rumble and of course they were closed. I called the Very next morning as soon as they opened and told John what happened and he said well you drove it before and it wasn’t doing that (when we couldn’t go far or get up to speed) he did offer to bring it back and once again make me a good deal for his guys to fix it. At this point I been cheated once (pulley) so I really don’t think I want to let someone who has already cheated me and lied the opportunity to cheat me again. I took it to Toyota dealership in JC and it’s the torque converter and has had to been like that for a while and now going to cost me $2000.00 to fix. I realize these things do happen when buying a used car but you should take responsibility and help you customers out when this does happen. I learned a few things I should have done differently for sure but I will never step foot on this lot again. And they should be ashamed for treating people like this.

I bought a used 08 Fusion from here back in 2017 and it has been an absolute wonderful car. My husband and I travelled all the way from Haywood NC but it was well worth it. Im so thankful for John & TLG Motors for the great buy. Everything on the car still works beautifully and only had to replace breaks and tires since. Such a patient and honest place. We were using our tax returns to purchase the car and we had no clue how to get all the money in one day ( young and underprepared) and John waited while we went all over withdrawing money lol. Ill definitely be back next time I need a car.

Ted fixed the problems..Fine! Great! However since then the car hasnt ran consecutively for two months at a time without leaving me stranded on the side of the road.... Ive paid for the car twice in repairs..... Even lost an awesome job because I would be broke down on the interstate having to call a ride or taxi and be late at least once a month...... And now Ive refinanced my loan because I am tapped out completely from 2 years of ownership with this vehicle TO PUT A NEW MOTOR IN IT!!!! INFURIATING!!!!!
