I received a federal safety recall on my 19 ft travel trailer. It is an Imagine by Grand Design. The recall is on the Winntech propane regulator. I am a Florida resident spending the summer in Ct. I couldnt get any dealer to answer the phone, except Mike from Crowley RV. The dont even sell Grand designs. They made me an appointment that day for about 4 weeks out.I took it there on 8/25 and was there only 2 hours. Even short staffed that day they took care of me as my wife was back at the campground homeless in 90 degree heat. They did all they had to and even dealt with Grand Design to receive payment so I didnt have to put out of pocket and wait reimbursement!Very nice staff, helpful and patient with my story and questions. While in the NE area I will tell my fellow travelers to go there for what they need.Thank You Crowley!James Smith
I have a 2018 RoadTrek campervan (Class B off brand made for Camping World) which I purchased in 2018. It was purchased from Camping World. In the meantime the (old company prior to a new company taking over) went out of business. This last trip I took in September 2021 I broke a rear/side (behind the driver seat) window which was installed by RoadTrek (old company/out of business). This is a special order window which all the glass companies I talked to, as well as Camping World, could not get or make this window for me. Camping World told me the manufacturer is the only one who can get it and the RoadTrek (old company) I purchased my campervan from, is out of business. I got zero help from these vendors to get the window replacement. The (new) RoadTrek company usually does not get involved with repairs on the (old) RoadTrek sales. Two different companies. Thank God they did in my circumstance.Insurance would pay for the window replacement but I couldnt find a place to get the window. Money was not the issue. Insurance didnt know of any places. This was not an OEM part. This window was curved and made with safety glass material in it which a lot of window companies couldnt do or get involved.I went to Crowley RV and spoke to Darren Greatorex in the parts department. He immediately got in contact with someone in the (new) RoadTrek Company whom was able to get into the old company build records for my campervan. That person which I like to thank so much as well, supplied Darren with the window company name (their) number on the window replacement and their telephone to call them. That window company was very happy to make me the window and had it made and at Crowleys location in less than two weeks. Darren also setup a glass company in the area to install this frame less window for me since Crowley doesnt install this type of window.Fast forward I had the window installed on 10/3/2021. The window was a perfect match and the installation was (my thanks to them) completed very professionally. Another great call by Crowley. After going through this upsetting experience, the final outcome and quality of the help was unbelievable excellent. I wish more companies were as helpful as this one. I dont know what I do if I couldnt get a new window that also matches the original equipment and or other windows.Once again, I want to thank everyone involved with helping me get the new window and getting it installation in my campervan. I was very lucky to find the right people (team of players) that made my life better. I know where I am going to buy or try to buy my next RV with this kind of service.Happy RVing to everyone.
Great company, great prices, great people. Made the purchase of our new RV an easy experience. Victor was very professional and knowledgeable. He made sure our purchase was stress free. The mechanics had our camper clean and ready to go, they walked through care and maintenance needs before we drove off the lot. Would highly recommend this place to friends and family!
Just purchased parts but they would schedule me in the morning if I needed to. Very nice.
Cool staff cool place job well done fast easy no hassle thanks yall
These folks are excellent! Went above and beyond. Best experience weve ever had with an RV dealer.
Some stock with dealer prices, very professional knowledgeable no presser sales! large quanity of bullet holes in front windows a recent customer unloaded a clip or two all sales final?
I called in for a quote on preventative roof maintenance. I told them the 5th wheel was about 40 feet long and received a rough estimate of about $800-$1,000.I took a day off from work, drove up and parked. When the service employee came out he said the cost (based on his guess at 35 feet long) would be $2,340! And that was without even looking at the roof.I was hoping to find an RV service center I could trust, guess I have to keep looking.Update: A manager responded to my review and asked me to call and speak with the management team about my experience. I asked about speaking to a manager when I was at the service center during my initial encounter, the employee said that it wouldnt help. If management was really concerned, I would expect that they would contact me directly, they have my number.
These guys are great!! They were pleasant, kind, on-time, and delivered everything they promised and more without trying to up-sell or over-sell. I wish I had the name of the tech to give him a shout out because he really did a great job for me and so did the writer - Pauline. Will definitely be back!
We were traveling from California to Connecticut in our new Winnebago Travato. Early in the trip our grey water handle disconnected from the valve. For the remainder of the trip I needed to crawl under the vehicle to pull open the valve directly with my hands. We called Crowley from the road to see what they could do while we spent a couple of days in the Bristol area. They sourced hard to find spare parts, accommodated our availability and fixed the problem before we were scheduled to leave the area. Pauline and the team were super helpful, understanding, and communicative. Im glad to know that they are there to help in a pinch!
Bought a Winnebago Minnie Winnie class C at the end of May 2020. New! Its been back in the shop more days than its been on the road. I bought it to use it. Generator has not worked. Camper door broke. Large wardrobes drawer broke among other things. Repairs are slow and then are returned without working. I didnt spend all that money to cancel trips. Very frustrating!!
Bad service told me to bring my RV to be worked on then told me it would be 5 weeks.. never bring it to them again
Wonderful place Bought used RV here and Would definitely buy another one wonderful people here
I want to Thank Darren in the parts department for all his help with ordering a part for my Winnebago Minnie Plus 2018. When I called Crowleys parts department I wasnt sure what to expect as I did not purchase my Winnebago from them, and the dealer I did purchase from did not give me the time of day and could not be bothered in helping me. Darren was so helpful and was such a pleasure to work with. He researched the part I needed and placed the order for me. I received the part today and my husband installed it. We are so pleased with the outcome. Thank you again Darren we are extremely happy with the customer service you provided, you are the best. We look forward to dealing with you and Crowley in the future.
I brought my RV in to have three different things fixed, three hours later nothing got fixed they charged me over $200 and wanted me to bring it back and leave it for an indefinite amount of time up to three days to get three things fixed. I will never go back.
Ryan was great! I needed a part fast and he was the only person in the state (I called every rv dealer and servicer out there) who offered to order the part I needed. He had it available next day. He totally went the extra mile! I will always make crowley Rv our first call should the need for parts or service arise.
Do NOT purchase anything from Crowley RV. In May 2020 we purchased a Mercedes ERA camper van. It had 7 issues upon receiving it. Electrical issues and solar are still broken 5 months later and several trips back. They have lied to us and are completely incompetent in the service department. We paid over $100,000.00 for this brand new unit and it still is not usable. They dont care. Zero response from owner or upper management. This has been a horrific and heartbreaking experience for us.
Always a pleasure going there. Had an appointment for recall work on our 2018 Winnebago Trend. I got there 90 minutes early due to no traffic and they got me right in. I was back home before my appointment time! Way to go Crowley RV.
They took the time to explain exactly how to install my vent hood, even though I bought it somewhere else. Very nice people
Great service they always go the xtra mile to help you and make sure things done to your satisfaction. I’ve been servicing for years and always leave very happy. Thank you all .
There is no way to capture the devastating work that Crowley RV did on our Roadtrek 190 Versatile. To say the least it was returned to us in much worse conditions than when we dropped it of. After 6 weeks, Crowley returned our RV with a large scrape across the windshield, and glass from replacing 3 front-overhead windows broken all over the floor. The work they did on replacing our window seals was beyond amateur and the windows still leak!!!!! While doing the reseal they cut into the fiberglass roof leaving light shining through, and also made a cut in the headliner fabric. They also reported worthless batteries were fine to go on a long road trip and attached a brand new battery (upon our request) to an old, corroded battery (very unprofessional). Also failed to detect severe mouse damage despite paying $500 for a full used RV inspection. Have failed to reimburse $ thus far and refusing to pay for repairs of their work....,2020 update..... this issue was resolved only by Crowley refunding our & but after a huge hassle. In the long run, this experience with Crowley 2 years ago led to us having to gut and restore our entire camper van, waisting more than $20,000 to fix up a van we had just purchased in what we thought was almost immaculate condition for a used camper van. Anyways..... I just got a response from the manager of Crowley (2 years after posting this review). They wanted to know how to contact me directly but left no contact info for me to contact them. So I am updating the review. If you are interested in contacting me Crowley, you will need to give me an email address to use for Tony. I am not going to waste more time looking for that and I am not going to publicly give out my contact info.
The service department has been a pleasure to deal with. Even though our RV was not purchased there, I could not ask for a better service experience. For our warranty repairs, they arranged to have the needed parts on hand and scheduled a while you wait service. Glad to have them as my nearest Winnebago dealer.
Met with Tony and had several talks. He is dishonest, lazy and disorganized. He is an old timer who doesnt care about customer service. He is only interested in quick and easy cash for Crowley. He is a time stealer. This place is dirty. It has seen a dollar or coat a coat of paint in thirty years. Do yourself a favor and buy anywhere else.
They did a great job on my motorhome repair after a stone wall bit the back bumper. If you look at the corner which was repaired you will not find a clue to the damage. It is difficult to learn on a Class A 40, but the mistake I did in turning around was not such a big deal after the Crowley team got involved.
I have been bring my camper to Crowley for servicing the past three years. Ryan and Pauline are terrific in the service department and the Service Techs are exceptional. On one visit, I had some questions on the hot water heater and the Service Tech was more than happy to provide hands on training to me on the process. I travel from Wallingford to have my camper serviced at Crowley. There are a several other options I pass along the way to Crowley, and for good reason. Great People, Excellent Service, fair pricing. Thats why I keep going back to Crowley.
Very poor experience and a complete lack of professionalism and customer service. My wife and I will soon become full time RVers. We had decided we wanted to buy a motorhome on the Sprinter chassis. We liked the Winnebago View 24G but we wanted to check the size to make sure we thought we could live in it full time. We are cash buyers. Crowley was the closest RV Winnebago dealer to our location (but was still 45 minutes away) and their web site indicated they had a 2016 on the lot. We checked the web site hours and saw they were open on a Friday till 5 PM. We arrive and the woman at the front desk said there was no one there who could show us any RVs. I explained our situation and she still said no. I asked her if we could just take a look around inside the 24G to get a sense of size. She said no she was not authorized to allow us to look. She offered that we could drive back (another 1.5 hours round trip) again the next day. No way our hard earned cash is going to a dealer with good customer service. Steer clear here, our first impression is that this is a very poorly run shop. We will soon be on our adventure with an RV from somewhere else.
Great to do business with; they put the Customers needs and desires foremost.Very good job prep-ing our new rv and training us on how to manage the various systems.Excellent response when service was needed, and the work was done well.
If youre in the market for a Winnebago do not come here. We took a 2 hour trip here and it was a complete waste of time. I had cash in hand ready to buy. I couldnt even get answers to basic questions. Following our trip I sent an email with questions and it was like pulling teeth to get an answer with one word respones. The only good thing about the trip was i got to see the floor plan I wanted and place an order at another dealer 3 hours from my house with all the upgrades and a better price. Do you research.
Great service, honest, helpful. Will use again.
Great service, even better pricing then other RV places in the area
It was a very informational trip we made to Crowley RV in Bristol, Connecticut. We were looking at all the different 2018 Winnebago travel trailers that they have. Now we have to plan a trip to an RV resort and try out a travel trailer. This will be an experience because we are bringing our dog, Misha.
Had a very pleasant experience and even referred some friends. Not many businesses in the area like it. Had great time.
After what they did to Cody Wolfe and seeing this is a recurring case of bad employees and dealers out to make a quick buck that just do not care about the way they treat their customers. Really hope News 8 exposes these snakes.
The purchase experience was great, thanks Tony. Delivery and system explanation, A+.Had my 2016 Travato in for service two times, both were excellent & professional in every way ! ! ! !
Visited dealer to look at a Roadtrek. Salesman, Anthony I believe, seemed disinterested in assisting, did not introduce himself, nor ask for my name. There was no handshake or holding of doors, he blamed imperfections in the product on customer handling, and lacked product knowledge. Poor experience when looking to potentially spend $100k at their place of business.
Very unprofessional, rude & discourteous. They unsuccessfully tried to charge for work that they performed without authorization.I personally called Ken Crowley because as he claims if your not happy he wants to know about it which is a lot a crap. All he did was make excuses for his service writer. Its obviously a situation that you are only as good as the people you work for.Furthermore, if you buy a Winnebago product from a different dealer they (Crowley) does not want to perform ANY warrantee work for no charge. They intentionally perform unauthorized work in an attempt to turn warrantee work into a money maker.KNOW THE DMV DEALER/REPAIRER LAWS WHEN YOU GO TO THESE PEOPLE SO YOU CAN PROTECT YOURSELF. They cannot perform or charge for ANY work or parts that has not been agreed to and authorized.Go to Diamond RV in Hatfield, Mass. Very nice people, not rude or disingenuous like Crowley RV.
I also seen Codys post on Twitter, they really dont know how to treat people. Let this be a lesson to them.
Nice place, no pushy salesmanship!
Needs a stronger sales people.
Thank you John for helping find the parts I needed to run my trailer
Winnebago!
Nice workers
