My car was diagnosed as needing a fuel pump replacement. The outside warranty coverage that I am paying for gave me a hard time and refused to cover the repair due to a small technicality. This ordeal caused me to be without my car for a whole month as I fought to get them to cover the repair. Sadly, I was left with a huge bill. I must say Jason and his staff are exceptional, kind and very patient. They made it possible for me to get back on the road with a reasonable solution. I am so grateful because they really went above and beyond. As a customer, I feel like the really care about providing excellent service rather than just making a profit. Thank you Jason to you and your team you guys are simply the Best! I highly recommend this business for your car service needs!!

Had a mobile mechanic repair my car at home because it was misfiring. After he changed all the plugs and wires the care was still misfiring. For four days he couldn’t figure out what the problem was. I took the car to this garage and instructed them to diagnose it for me. They figure out that the plugs wires were not properly connected and fix the problem. They did not charge me any extra fees besides the $105 diagnostic fees plus taxes. Very honest folks. Kudos and keep up the great work.

I purchased a car from a dealer who has an account with Pep Boys. AVP is my cars warranty center. When Pep Boys said they couldnt fix my car, AVP retrieved it and fixed the problem. They have some of the BEST mechanics and their customer service is superb! Im super happy with AVP!

This place and the people that work there are very unprofessional. My car needed a new transmission because it was slipping. I took it here and they wanted to me get a rental but I would’ve looked up and had that rental for over 3 weeks. The transmission did not come in until the following week from me going to the shop. I had to call everyday to check in and see what was going on. Now that the shop has my car. I was told that it would be a 3-4 day job but it’s now the following week and I have not heard anything since. I wish there was a closer place I could go to besides all the way in Bristol Pa I live in Philly. It’s about a 50 min drive from where I live.

I was in the store from 10:00am until 4:00pm. I took my new vehicle in for a yearly inspection. I thought...maybe an hour or so if they are busy.To my surprise, not only did each of the attendants not know whats was taking so long..one said it was because it needed ball joints, another said an alignment, yet another...tie rod..it was the least pleasurable inspection of my life. I still dont know exactly what the hold up was!

My new shop for anything I need done on my car ! came in for just a catalytic converter replacement while I was waiting they came and told me that there was a problem with one of my o2 sensors! Not that great. Took my car in for a warranty repair and was up sold a bunch of other services that I didnt want and talked out of the repair. Decided to take my money elsewhere. Didnt get anything done.

My 87 year old Mother and I were in the midst of a long trip when a leaky trans cooler tube stopped us cold. A close by business recommended AVS so I took my vehicle to AVS and felt confident they could get us back on the road. I took my car in for an inspection last minute and they were great about fitting me in on a Saturday. The manager and Roseann were both very professional and very friendly. They had my car done in a reasonable amount of time even though I dropped it off, they didnt feel the need to keep the car all day like other shops I have experienced. AVP is awesome: thorough, honest, meticulous, and fair. They put effort and quality into all of the work that they do, right down to the documentation (see attached photo -- how many mechanics include that level of detail in their service records??). They handled a major repair for me and were communicative and transparent about the process. The final cost was extremely reasonable and my car has been doing great since. Its hard to find honest and reliable car service, so I will definitely be coming back.

Never available when called.I tried for 2 weeks to get someone on the phone finally had to go down personally on a Saturday before they closed at noon to speak with someone.Finally got my car towed there and it’s been another entire week without any communication about the status or even receiving my vehicle in the first place.This is unacceptable service.

The staff is very friendly and do their best to keep customers updated on their vehicles. They have been very helpful with the issues I have had with my various cars. The manager is excellent and does everything she can to get issues handled. It is often very busy so make sure to make an appointment and drop off the car.

AVS personnel are the greatest. With nothing to go on but my vague description of what was going on. They were able to diagnose and correct my problem. They were also able to explain what someone else had supposedly corrected on my car step by step, what they did as opposed to what they should have done!! Everything was done completely! From start to finish they were nothing less than extremely polite and professional. They made sure I knew what was going on every step of the way including how to get my vehicle towed to their location and updating me constantly on what was wrong with my vehicle and what they were going to do to fix it. The customer service that I received at this place was fair, but their labor rates are outrageous. I only came here because my car warranty is through them and I was due for a state inspection. It turned out that my car needed a few things replaced before passing inspection which I didnt mind replacing, but what got me upset is that when I called to schedule the second appointment to install the new parts they gave me a rate that was completely different from what they actually charged me in person. I paid over $500 for a job that my mechanic at Midas in Quakertown would have done for half the price. Not only that, apparently they use an online system to generate final cost for them which means that you might only be there for 2 hours but they will charge you for 4 hours if thats what the system tells them to do–thats what happened to me. Stay away from this place. Its a waste of gas, tolls, time and money.

Have had great service here. They are all very friendly and personable. I have Bill work on my car because hes worked on from day one and knows my car. Hes fixed everything and lets me know when something is needed soon or has to be done. Highly recommend!!!

Just received a call from the the new service manager and i appreciate him reaching out. He was able to handle the problem i had, and he made me feel appreciated as a customer, they are really trying to fix things under him now. I think people should give them a second chance if they have anymore issues with their vehicles.

B&B stood by their promise and warranty when my vehicle needed service. Thank you especially to Roseanne, who was there to keep us updated and to support us through the whole process.

My used car came with a service agreement fro them for the oil changes and services. First one then didnt rotate the tires like the said they did second time left drain plug loose when they pulled my car out and it was leaking oil everywhere. Will not continue to use them after service agreement is up.

Bought first car from them and it was a nightmare...back and forth for repairs, no updates for status, and attitudes when I called to check on my truck. I drove that truck primarily back and forth just to make the repairs at AVP. It got so bad, and they were NOT able to fix it, they bought the truck back! But the clause was that I had to get another vehicle through them. I did, bad move. Now I have a truck that has all these problems and they keep repairing it only just so I can drive for 1 day and bring it back. They keep my car for weeks at a time. I am going to talk to a lawyer. Smh DO NOT GO THERE.

If I could I would give zero stars, but unfortunately I have to give 1 star to warn people about this place. Took my car to pepboys because I was hearing something nice and they told me the car should not have passed inspection because of breaks and rotors and struts and that tires were dry rotted. The car was just inspected in 01/19. So my check engine like comes on and I call to schedule an appointment bring my car in check engine light goes out and am told they will have to run diagnostic on it. So they tell me my breaks are ok that the back is at 6 and the front is at 3 which is within safety standards and the rotors are ok that they just have hot spots on them, it did not need struts but need the bolts for sway bar just to be tightened. So I tell them to replace front breaks which cost me 130.00 (which I feel I should have not had to pay since the car was just inspected in Jan 19). They replace breaks and also rotors in the front which they did not charge me for (thats a plus). So they tell me job is done I go out and test breaks and they go to the floor, needless to say they were going to let me leave with them like that. I go back in and tell them and they come out look at it and say we need to bleed breaks some more. Little bit later come out and tell me they need to replace master cylinoid in the front. I have now been here since 8:30 and it is now 12:30. They were going to give me a loaner car and when they went to get it, it was dead manager says I will go out and put a new battery in it. 10 mins later he comes in and says I have the car running with the sorry on to get it cool in there. Now the woman behind the desk says to the other woman they just put a new battery in it last week. So I go out to the running car and think yo myself let me turn this car off to make sure it turns back on and sure enough dead....I come back in and say its dead, if I would gave just left I would have been stuck at work with a car that wont start. So now I am waiting while they fix my car which I am being told will take 4 hours. I asked to speak with Jack who is the owner, I am told he has been left messages but no answer back. I have felt with B and B for many years and have never been treated this way, I have also felt with Jack who has always gone above and beyond, but this visit and this purchase has been a total nightmare. I dont feel that I should have to po at another dime for today, do to the bad business in which I received. AVP warranty has alot of professional building to do if they plan on staying in business much longer. They do shoddy work or at least that is my feeling with this visit anyway.

I do not understand the type of customer service that is given at this service center. I go here only due to the fact my warranty has me go here. I have been spoken to rudely on the phone and as though I can not process a simple thought. I have had a severe lack of communication from this center. I have to stay on top of them to have any idea as to what is going on.I took my vehicle in for an emergency repair and barely made it home from the shop. I had to turn around and sit in the parking lot the next morning to make sure my vehicle was taken care of properly. They kept my vehicle for approximately 3 weeks. I emailed my receipt for my 1st car rental and the front desk said that would be ok .... obviously it wasnt. I ended up faxing it to the John myself 20 days after the email.They really need to step their game up and conduct the service center itself more organized. Instead of cycling people through. The stress and aggravation this company has caused me it ridiculous.

My husband and I have been here multiple times with an appointment and never had an issue. Until now. Of course my car broke down Saturday night & they came and towed it yesterday around noon. Here we are a whole day and a half later & still my car hasnt even been looked at yet. Ive called multiple times & they have no answers for me as to when it will be looked at. They do not put you in a rental but they will reimburse you $30 a day. They need to put us in a rental because its their fault we are still without a car. Any other place would have had our vehicle looked at & fixed by now. Just sad how this place works. They obviously will keep your car for days because I didnt have an appointment.
