For my 80,000-mile service on Jan. 27, 2021, Service Advisor Dean Hughes coordinated my service expediently, professionally and courteously. While there, I chatted with Salesman Kirk Harris, who was pleasant and engaging, as we browsed the lot for a possible future purchase. Karen Barker in the office was personable and helpful. Horrible customer service! Horrible ethics! Terrible business practice. My wife and I were in process of purchasing a vehicle from Toyota of Bristol, Jacob being the ‘Salesman’. First, Jacob had little knowledge of the inventory and features. He was more concerned with playing on his phone than finalizing the deal. While we are waiting to sign papers, they inform us the vehicle we were going to purchase was already sold. Complete waste of our time. My family has purchased Toyota’s from this particular dealership for over 20 years. They recently started going to a different Toyota dealership to do business. I guess I see why now. Save your time and go elsewhere.
All I’m going to say is don’t buy used vehicles from this place. I thought buying a used car from a dealership would be better than buying from one of these small lots since they have certified mechanics on site but that’s just not the case. They had to replace the water pump right out the gate and I’ve had it in the shop 4 other times outside of that and not even put 10,000 miles on the vehicle I bought it when it had 111,000 miles on it and now it has 121,000 miles on it and I’ve spent almost $2000 worth of repairs and Warranty‘s only cover the big stuff so there basically pointless. I know the risk in buying used cars but I feel like buying off of a dealership should have higher standards and should least not have to have it in the shop at least for 10,000 miles. Don’t get stuck paying for a lemon for 5 years. This place is not above ripping u off.

This place is a joke!!! We bought a certified used car back in 2019. It took 3 months to get a key fob that we were promised and finally took us going off to get it. Then when I traded that car, I asked for the GAP Insurance refund that the new dealer told me to do. I asked for this back on April 30th and was told 4-6 weeks. I emailed again on June 22nd and 28th and Matt Cruise refuses to respond. I have called and every time I do, he is ironically in a meeting. I asked to speak to his supervisor today and was put on hold and eventually hung up on. This is no way to do business and I hope no one EVER has to deal with this joke of a company in the future. YOU WILL GET SCREWED!!!!!

I was very happy with my service. My tires were rotated at no cost because I bought my tires from T.O.B last time I was there. Also, the service tec noticed I had 2 recalls that I had totally forgot about. The recalls were fixed at no cost and I was given a loaner car at no cost. I am very happy with my service and will continue to be back. I only wish I could remember the name of the young mans that helped me. He was top notch!
Spoke to online sales with verified emails that the vehicle was waiting for us for Monday morning appointment. Also received back and forth text messages that it was there also. We took off work and planned our day to drive hour and half away. We get here no vehicle nor any knowledge of the appointment. What a shame and bad business on the internet side. Went to Toyota of Bristol to purchase a 2021 Camry TRD. The salesman was ok, very friendly, but my experience beyond that was awful. I did the preapproval online to make it quicker and got a call that, just by looking at it without trying any banks, they knew I would need a cosigner. I ended up going to a bank on my own and getting approved. So after doing the financing on my own I went back. The car price was 33k. The window said 33k and the website said 33k. When I got the deal sheet the price was changed to 38k! They took 3000 off as a discount still making the price over 34k! The bank required 100% of MSRP. They wouldnt budge off that price, which was still over their own MSRP! They also wouldnt budge any on the trade value of my car. Didnt seem to want to make it work. I ended up going to another Toyota dealership the next day and getting the same car for the 33k, even with a better sound system, and more on my trade in! They did all they could to make it work! And they actually tried to get me a better rate, which Bristol didnt even seem to want to try. Never recieved call backs from the salesman after told I would. Lost my business and sale. Working with the other dealership now to buy my TRD.

Jacob Kopp told me he could get me a 2020 with lower interest and cheaper payment then I originally had. At first I thought this was a sales pitch that would have a catch somewhere along the line. However, It was not just salesman BS and I walked out with a new Highlander with a lower monthly payment and a huge drop in interest. They worked to really get me a deal. He was straight forward with me, which I appreciate. He also took a lot of time to discuss the features of the car after the sale was made.

I woke up this am with a big problem. I discovered that my windshield wiper fluid was out and needed a refill. A winter storm was approaching and I was not prepared. My wife works as a nurse anesthetist at a local hospital and needed me to drive her to work in the middle of the storm. Unfortunately, my hood release cable was not working and I couldn’t replace my wiper fluid. So I did what most men would do and tried to figure it out myself. When that didn’t work, I called Toyota of Bristol for help. They told me to bring the vehicle by and they would take a look. I had a great experience! Johnny Bowman took care of my hood release cable and even managed to find time to have my 45K service. I was in and out in less than an hour. It’s nice to know that I can count on my local Bristol Toyota. I’ve been a loyal customer for almost 20 years. Thanks Johnny B. You da man!!!
