I was advised that leaving a positive review here is the best way for an outstanding Car-X employee to get the recognition, bonus, etc. that she deserves based on my experience with her. Well, I took my 1991 Ford F-150 to this location a couple days ago, on Wednesday, 06/16/21. The very nice lady who was working at the counter, I believe her name is Stephanie, went out of her way to keep me informed of the progress as her technician tried to find out what was wrong with my beloved truck. She was also very knowledgeable, and understanding of my concerns and anxiety related to the situation.Its unfortunate that good customer service is hard to find these days. Ive worked in customer service, and I appreciate it. Stephanie really helped me and made my day better. If her name is not Stephanie, I at least know for sure that it starts with an S and she wears glasses.I hope the proper authorities at Car-X see this and give Stephanie all the rewards she deserves for being such a great employee. We were broke down and from out of town but Stephanie made sure we were seen as soon as possible as we had a travel deadline to meet. The mechanic Tom did an amazing job pinpointing our problems of busted water pump, the serpentine belt and the idol tension pulley and making the needed repairs. We can’t thank the both of them enough for making this unexpected delay as painless as possible and easing our minds that a thorough job was done. These two employees went above and beyond and CarX should be proud that they chose to come to work for them!!

By far one of the best auto mechanic experiences that I have ever had! Having owned at least 50 cars in my time with a multitude of mechanic interactions, this is saying a lot! I had an issue with my Cadillac at the STL airport and needed a tow to a mechanic. I chose Car-X as the place to have my car dropped off. Andy and his fellow team members went above and beyond to diagnose the issue and provide me with a solid, safe piece of mind before we came back to the St. Louis area to drive back home the 110 mile trip. Took my car in when I had a flat tire.Pros:* Came in without an appointment, and they still got to the car quickly.* Refilled and reattached my tire.* Since they found nothing wrong with the tire, they reattached it and did not change me a dime.Cons:* They missed the screw in the side wall of said tire so I had to refill it four more times that day and it was completely flat the next morning.

I came in thinking I had to drop my car off for service but Andy was SUPER HELPFUL! He made sure I got only the service I needed (I am registering my car and thought I had to get both safety and emissions, turns out I only needed 1 and it was a quick 10 minute job!!!)! I ended up saving time and money and got to start my day off with a pleasant person and great service!!!! Thank you! I recommend this location!!!!

Stopped to check to see how much an oil change would be for my vehicle which was $54.72 for synthetic blend. Probably would have been out of around $70, if not more, as well after all fees and taxes.

Ive been coming here since I got my car in 2019 for my major car woes and I have never been disappointed and the mechanics are diligent and do a phenomenaljob. Mr.Andy is the prime representation of professionalism and very endowed with knowledge and experience and does what is best for the customer. They were amazing! I had made an appointment at 11 and unexpectedly had to give my son a breathing treatment at the same time. They made it so easy to slide my appointment 30 minutes so i didnt have to cancel.

Came in for a safety and emissions inspection. Service was quick, friendly, and easy!Edit: Had to come in a second time today as the DMV requested an ID/OD inspection. The manager, Andy, was able to fit me in just before the end of the day and get that done. Really impressed with the service here, it’s made the sometimes stressful process of titling a new car a little easier.

Andy promised to take care of me and get me on the road for my vacation. $517.00 later he still doesnt know what is wrong. I had to leave two days late because he could not find the problem. Airport Automotive had it fixed completely in 1 hr.... Problem was Car-X did not bleed the brakes properly. Two visits to Car-X and they still missed the problem, very sad to be treated this way.

Andy was great he was very helpful and let me know other things that was wrong with my car not pushy at all got both of my cars in and out quickly.

Emilio, Travis and the rest of the crew are amazing to say the least. They do excellent work. They are honest and truthful. I brought my car in for repair, they developed an action plan to help me bring it back to life and a timeline so that it would not be so expensive all at once. They prioritized the most important to the least important. These guys are great guys and an amazing asset to this company! Emillio and Travis need a raise, promotion or something of that sort ASAP, seriously. I could not be more satisfied.
