Good store with decent prices but you guys need to really clear this up. Either youre open at 8 daily or 7:00 which one

This grocery store is a huge disappointment. Not only do they have terrible customer service but also poor management there. They close in the middle of the day for inventory, they never have enough cashiers, and only have two carts for the entire store that paying customers cannot use. Its been weeks now during an on-going pandemic and they have yet to order carts or grocery baskets. Everyone is limited to only buy what they can carry with their hands. How can you properly shop during a pandemic like this especially for a family. When we asked what happened an employee stated that the carts were stolen and that is unfortunate but as a business it is their responsibility to reorder for their customers.

Update: What a quick decline. A store that I was in love with just 6 months ago, is now one of the worst grocery stores in Bridgeport. I am appalled bye the changes Ive witnessed. The staff members have changed, and the store has suffered because of it. Gone is the good customer service, fresh produce, and quick lines. I witnessed the current manager getting high on life in the stores parking lot. The incompetency level is pretty high too.SAVE- YOURSELF- A- LOT, of trouble and shop elsewhere. Unless you enjoy waiting in one line with 20 people infront after a long day at work. Not to mention holding all your groceries because there are no carriages or carts in the entire store. Oh yes... And bring your own bags, they dont have ANY ...not even for sale.OLD POST: Like the name states, you will see a massive difference in your grocery bill. Always fresh produce. This place stays well stocked with the essentials. Great for a grab and go, shopping trip.

Its a nice clean store with a variety of selections. However, it is very expensive

The prices are good but the staff who work here very poor service, especially the lady who works in the meat department, you cannot check the merchandise, why do they ask you if you are going to buy it as if you had no money, you must train and better educate your staff

I only rated this place a 5 because of the excellent customer service I received from cristal today. Not only did she assist me with pricing but she also pointed out some savings and assured everything would work out when I needed to divide my payment into two. (Cash and debit) I can definitely see the hard work. Keep it up. It pays off in the end.

My Number 1issue with this store only one register open on a Saturday??? Really!!! I came in on Friday the line was down the aisle I turned back out. This is the main reason I dont shop here regularly. Why should we wait 30 minutes in a line??? you cant even have an express lane come one

Shopped here with my fiance a couple days ago for the first time. We showed up around 9:45 PM; mistakenly we thought they closed very late. Shortly before 10 PM, a woman who I assume was either a cashier or manager started yelling at us, visibly annoyed, across half the grocery store that they were closing. So we came to the front immediately and bought what we had picked out. My fiance apologized several times and said that we didnt know they closed at 10. The woman literally just silently GLARED at us both, not even bothering to reply. Bear in mind it wasnt even closing time yet. There are much nicer ways to tell paying customers that they need to leave without yelling and glaring. Very disappointed with the customer service here.EDIT: I sent an email and never got a reply.

Pretty much what youd expect from a low budget, hood grocery store, so I wont rate too harshly. I like that the store is stocked in a very simple fashion. I also like that oftentimes I can find items that are unexpected like Sister Schuberts Yeast Rolls or Vlasic Dill Pickles for the low low. On the other hand, Save-a-Lot is seriously going to have to find a better way to deal with customers like myself who bring in our own reusable bags because they way it goes now, you have to leave your bags with the security guard at the front door and then get out of line at some point while youre at the register. Unfortunately, the timing is always awkward and then the cashiers dont communicate with the guard to make the experience go smoothly at all. One guard ended up falsely accusing my BF of trying to steal, recently, because of this. Also, I wrote to the store a few months back in regards to a recipe change with one of my favorite snacks and I got a response, which is great. However, I was told that they would send me a $3 coupon for my troubles which I never received. I didnt ask for that and they didnt follow through. Bad customer service.

There is anemployee named Lenny who yes absolutely awesome super friendly I will wait in his line even if another line is shorter just to talk to him he makes my day

I when to this store on 4/19 at 11:30 and was stopped at the door and told buy the manager not to came in because i didnt have a mask on. So when to my car. And got a mask. When i got in the store i seen alot of customers with out masks and the manager was just walking past them and seen customers that came after me with no mask and the manager didnt say nothing it seem to me she was singling me out to enforce the rules and not others which is illegal. I would like for some one to get back to me

No security at all today. A cashier told another that someone just walked out with a cart of meats. Hire, hire, hire more employees to work at the registers atleast seasonal employees. The manager at this store wasnt helping out at all. He should get up from his office chair and help out on the registers.

Ok heres the deal with this store while they dont offer a big selections of name brand foods they are mixed in there you have to look. Ive recently moved here and have used this store because of its location. The store offers a lot of other brand names you havent seen but they have a money back guarantee. . If your not happy bring it back with receipt. I swear Ive been able to change brands, be happy with the quality.. ..and save a lot. Check it . Bring your own bags.

The worst nightmare that you could ever experience. Very low staffed. The store charges a fee for access to their shopping carts. A man that frequents the parking lot tries to steal carts in order to gain the money that is in the shopping carts. The staff answers the customers questions with a what remark and are inadequate in running the store. The section that stores yogurt had hair all over it and the milk is always expired. The lines being long is not a problem compared to seeing the disaster this store is experiencing. I commend the cashiers who are doing janitorial work also.

Horrible, unprofessional language and behavior from employees. There was line wih about 9 or 10 people waiting. Only 1 cashier assisted the customers checking out. (No self checkout options either) and it was in the middle of the afternoon around 3pm

Experienced grocery shopper here.Very happy with the prices for milk, bananas, peanut butter, certain breads, and other bare essentials. (I havent comparison shopped more than that, so I cant say everything is a good deal for sure). The fresh produce section is really limited, but what they do have looks quality, so Im not taking away a star there.

Quick and easy get what you need and go at fair prices

While you can catch great prices and it is at a prime location (gas, fast food, dollar store), they suffer from proper staffing. Volume is way too high to have only 2 cashiers total. I often spend more times in line then I do in actual shopping.

Its an Ok store for quick runs. They dont have brand names. Not sure of the other foods. Some are not that great tasting. This is the kind of store they put in lower class neighborhood​. None name brand almost the same high prices​.

Very unprofessional I see 5 cash registers but theres only one open. The old managers use to have it clean but the lady now is always shouting orders to make herself look good. The prices are ok for what it is no name foods . I rather go to the Gala prices are not as cheap but the quality is way better.
