This is my go-to spot when Im looking for fresh seafood. They always have a great variety. They have lots of different fish at good prices if youre looking to try something new. I tried their Chilean sea bass recently & thats currently my favorite. They also have good lobster prices. I find a lot of their grocery products to be on the high side in comparison to other grocery stores.

The meats are fresh and the place is clean, also had a nice sale, the cashier are polite as well, Nice place to shop..

Fresh fish has never been done better.

International Supermarket carrying foods and products from around the world. Service is reasonably fast and friendly. This store has a good bakery that greets you upon entering with the smell of fresh baked breads and sweets. Good for cooks looking for an unusual or hard to find ingredient.

I love this Food Bazaar! Plenty of variety and even items from all over the world like Peru, Jamaica, Mexico, Brazil, Honduras, Japan, Thailand, Poland, and more.... The Produce section is out of this world, in the morning you can smell the Bakery department making fresh Banana bread among other things. The prices on meat and produce is amazing. The staff and check out workers are great. There are many lanes open and security to direct people to the proper check out line which helps keep things orderly and fast. The only critiques I have are I wish the not just the prices on produce and meat where reasonable and I wish the bulk paks of things like chicken and chicken breast did not come with filler solutions that make them slimy. Thats it just dont get the chicken breast here and what what you get when you leave meat and produce because the prices go up.

Went in for Jamaican cuisine and yessss, they had everything I needed. Prices decent, employees helpful and friendly. Will return soon.

Beautiful supermarket, and loaded with international foods and brands not commonly seen in the USA. Every aisle is a different corner of the world. I go there all the time to buy quails eggs, which are priced really well. If foreign cuisine items arent your interest, they also carry all kinds of domestic brands and feature domestic products that are curiously hard to find in local supermarket chains. They carry the 5 oz bottle of Tabascos jalapeño sauce (green label). Idk why but I cant find that anywhere else. They also carry some foreign and domestic mustard and ketchup brands that are top tier. If you like seafood, this is the place to get todays catch, they have dozens of different fish and shellfish varieties, including a barrel of live crabs. The only demerit is their beauty products section is a bit lacking, very small in the rear corner of the store and not enough international appeal there. But otherwise a great store.

Neat. Clean. Great place to find international ingredients. Dry good prices are very reason reasonable. Frozen goods were a little more expensive. I would highly recommend shopping here. Huge parking lot. Handicap accessible with plenty of room in store to maneuver.

Best location for ethnic foods. Seafood is always fresh.

I have always loved Food Bazaar since I’m a New Yorker and shopped at Food Bazaar when living in NY. I was super excited to know a Food Bazaar was available in Bridgeport and me being a Latina I can find many of the Latin products I use for cooking and eating.

They have Melona bars!!!!!! Theyre my FAVORITE ice cream bars/popsicles and NOWHERE ELSE SELLS IT other than Costcos single yearly bulk summertime order. I found this place when the company told me this was the nearest location that sells their items to my town. Im SO glad I didThey have lots of really good items, many you cant find at the bigger stores like Stop & Shop, with VERY nice prices. VERY nice meat and seafood sections with a wide range of standard to exotic products, spices, and produceThe best part is it has a WIDE range of multicultural food sections that have more, authentic options than the big name supermarkets (e.g. - Asian, Indian, Spanish, etc. Even more specific cultures within those wider examples)The one drawback is its REALLY busy and kinda cramped, but to me that just means they do a very good job and have good quality productsIll definitely be coming more often!! I LOVE to cook and they have SUCH a nice range of spices and flavors, Im VERY excited to explore the store in length. This genuinely might have become my new favorite supermarketThe only thing Im upset about is that I wish the location was closer to me lol!

Great place for basic Asian/ Indian food!

A wide selection of international fresh produce, meats and fish. Do you need pickled daikon radish? You have your choice of multiple packages and brands. Do you need goat meat? You have your choice between frozen and fresh from the butchers case. Looking for jerk sauce, the good stuff, its on sale. Extensive freezer section carries foods from Japan and Korea all the way to frozen guinea pigs if you are making some Peruvian cuy. Save yourself that trip to Queens and try here first.

Always a good experience, shelves are always stocked....great variety and the securities are usually pleasant.

Love the supermarket. It has a variety of products and is always fast to check out. Their sale price on items are pretty good. The carts are always outside and they have none inside. It’s convenient and easy to get to. There’s another Food Bazaar Farmers market to the east of the map, but that one is small compared to this one.

So that is the reason you didnt get 5 starts.

This place has a little of everything. You can find all different kinds of food here. I like it but I think the order of the aisles are a little confusing. Maybe I need to get used to going here but Ive been here a couple times and It wasnt a quick in and out experience like I wanted it to be, I had to spend time searching for stuff.

Ive been looking for ackee for months and found it here! This place has got everything you need and its affordable. I wish I lived near enough to it. Id shop there every week.

This is one of my favorite store they always seem to have all what i needed also all of their food is fresh.

They have all the Hispanic variability, but their prices are high high high. Do not recommend for everyday groceries.

Great store to find hard to find items but the guy directing the lines need to be courteous and approach people better when he is directing lines. How about a line forms here sign?

This is where I always buy my lobster every time I go the guy wants me to get the lobster out the box we always argue because I want the lobster from out of the water I always have to get the manager so I can get my lobsters from out the water cuz I told them the lobsters in the box I dont know how long they been there

Burger was dry hard roll was soggy lettuce very wilted and bacon was definitely overcooked waste of 8.50

The cashiers dont know who to talk to people nicely and they are was over priced i. There it makes no sense

Tons of options in the same product of what your looking for.. for example rice.. it comes in different brands so you can choose the best option for you. Ill surely go back..

Well Id say 4.5 stars. The prices can be a bit high. But you do get different foods from their. But you can find many international foods. Which is great. Not too bad but I try not to go often you can easily spend close to 100 dollars with just a little bit of things.

My first time at Food Bazaar and I did all my shopping in one place! From delicious seafood (great selection and prices) to fresh fruit and veggies. I was pleasantly surprised to find Polish food in an aisle to buy my favorite pickles! Awesome huge supermarket!

I must admit that at first I didnt want to ever go to any food bazaar. I was a Stop & Shop buyer. But NOW, its where I go first. Produce are fresh with a large selections. Always neat and clean. And NEVER long lines. Theres always security by registers directing the flow at check out. Some items in this market you wont find anywhere else. Try it. You may be surprised.

They have a selection of things I have a hard time finding anywhere else. Lines are confusing and can be frustrating during the beginning of the month.

Most things are overpriced. When you see a good sale here, be sure to double check that the item isnt expired or moldy. They also love to put up or keep up signs with one price and scan another. The only reason I keep going here is bc they carry Hispanic and Asian products other places dont offer and its near my home.
