This place is amazing, with the amount of Mexican foods and things I would need to make my favorite Mexican dishes is overwhelming. They even have food to order and aqua frescas.
Good food with great customer service! And they have all of the groceries and ingredients you need to make some authentic dishes!
So, there is this plaza with a bank, a Save-a-lot supermarket, a dollar store, and even a McDonald’s franchise…At the end of the parking lot, you will find a sign for a tiny supermarket called Azteca Market. Don’t be fooled!Inside this inconspicuous store, you will find some of the best Mexican food you can eat in Bridgeport. Hands down!Let go of any preconceptions about the location, the neighborhood, the area or the town and go have some tacos, tortas (Mexican Sandwiches), quesadillas or a smorgasbord of Mexican delicacies while you shop for some of the best and exotic things Mexico has to offer. These people are clean and the food is absolutely delicious!! Not much variety in terms of dishes, but you will find that what they make is made very, very good! You won’t find Burritos, Gorditas or chalupas but the Tacos and Quesadillas are superb! The meats are well seasoned and the Carnitas and Cecina are amongst the best I ever had. Bring your appetite as the portions are plenty and very satisfying.Wash everything down with a delicious Mexican Horchata…The staff is also very friendly and they go out of their way to make sure you are feed properly.
Not welcoming whatsoever. I went there to get oxtail but the butcher did not want to cut the meat as I wanted it, instead he offered me the precut meat.
Great choices for all Central America products. Great meat selection
They have a great variety of Mexican food
Horrible customer service. The lady with white hair taking orders and answering the phone is very disrespectful, my husband and i went during our lunch break and ordered take out, they took about 40 minutes to give us our order, understandable but it made us late so we each went our separate ways and when we were looking at our orders we saw that they had added and charged an extra order, we werent able to call or go back right away since out lunch break was over, about an hour later i called the store and had a very long conversation with her over the phone, in which she very rudely stated that its what we ordered and that if we ordered wrong then that was too bad. I know for a fact that we ordered 2 orders and about 10 minutes later we decided to order another 2, and because of that she said it was our fault because we didnt order everything at the same time, when i asked to speak to the manager she put me on hold for about 10 minutes and even though she had previously stated that the manager was there, when she finally answered she said that the manager was in fact not there and that if i wanted to speak to someone i had to go back to the store. At this point she was literally yelling at me over the phone. I told her that if we didnt get out of work so late and if we didnt have other priorities, we would go asap, and hung up... At first i was excited to find a convenient Mexican store/restaurant near my job and was prepared to make recommendations to my coworkers and my husband to his, but after this experience we dont ever plan on purchasing from there again.
Great drinks..!!Food B+Excellent staff..Clean, spotless place
I love it, I can feel like I am in Mexico at a market while I am here. The atmosphere is vibrant, the food is delicious and the staff is very friendly
Its a bit of half nice and half cold shoulder but the products they sell are good.
Wide variety of pretty much everything. The food is fresh and tasty.
Great mexican market seleccion. The meat is great and they cut it how you want it. Their chorizo is great. The mexican hot food seleccion is good. You can find a variety of mexican candies and other products. Definently a gem for anyone that likes mexican products.
Nice people, clean place. I had to pick up a UPS package from there... Im not sure the lady was good with English - AND, my Spanish is pretty bad...I admit. So, it took a while to get everything sorted out.
