I love coming here because of the good deals they have. Very affordable supermarket with a great selection of items to choose fro.

Let me start out l loved the store it has almost everything I went to the deli that was a disaster all the employees never acknowledge the customer they kept on doing what they were doing the line was getting long. I guess if you was an regular customer they would give you services.i drove quite some distance to pick up certain items only to be treated like I wasnt standing in line. The entire deli staff needs more training start out by acknowledging the customer thats really important.

This was my first time going to this supermarket it was neatly kept and seem to have a variety to select from over all their customers where nice and some of the employees But the fact that I waited over half an hour for a simple sandwich with four items which I still did not get and to have one of the deli person be rude to me for asking if they where making my sandwich next is just not acceptable. So I got my money back and left. Needless to say I will not be going there again.

All the food is fresh and I love shopping there

The only item thats a reasonable price are the cold cuts. Everything else is super over priced. I personally feel like this place rips off the hood when they should be lowering the prices so that people who only have this place can afford to go there. Id literally rather drive all the way to Milford to shop at Aldis . I will say this thier fresh produce is of great quality at all times. But again very over priced

That place is pristine. The shelves are always fully stocked, the registers are always manned and the prices are not too bad. The deli can be a little slow moving at times but what can you expect when the place is so on demand with little man power. I dont mind it because I know my goods are fresh.

So much meat. Close to home and (for the most part) affordable. Some things like bananas ($0.69 vs $0.49 everywhere else) are more expensive, and theres high fructose corn syrup in nearly EVERY juice brand they carry, but some good deals in store if you look for managers special tags on the aisles.

The workers and the place was awesome. They are honest with you. The cashier told me and girl the the oil was on sale but a bigger bottle. This is a supermarket for a community. I just moved for Brooklyn and I was impressed.

Cashier had to Ben between 17-20...she was very rude

Their staff is NOT knowledgeable you have to double check the exp date in all meats. The deli has the worst people. They are constantly hitting on the woman and cleanliness is definitely worth reviewingAll in all your better off going to a shop rite.

The compare on fairfield ave is way more inexpensive than the east main st compare. Horrible prices on east main compare. Only good is the employees are welcoming and nice and the delivery service is extremely helpful. The name is pretty much the only change i see.

New in the neighborhood. Since takeover prices have definitely increased noticeably 😡Same people working store just has a different name with higher price$.Had a very bad experience with bakery on Mother’s Day with a stale cake 🍰 No apologies, refund or even acceptance of any kind on their end. I still shop there from time to time but I stay away from that bakery 😬They do have a decent deli

I actually went there just to get a sandwich from the deli. I was told the Sandwiches are just as tasty as Subway And its true! They may not have as many fixings, but theyre delicious and the price is really good. Id definitely recommend their sandwiches!

My first time at this supermarket today. My sister and autistic nephew are going through a crisis and needed my help. I came here to buy my sister what she needs and right when I was going to pay I was stopped by what I think was security. I bought my sister and our kids something to eat and drink before we arrived to Gala Foods. If they thought we were stealing why didnt they check out the footage that showed them when we walked in with the stuff in our hands rather than showing me footage of my son drinking his juice through one of the isles? That was embarrassing especially since I had cash and cards on me. Ill go back if needed but ya could have done thorough search in your footage before accusing someone.

Love the produce section great prices on meats as well and the rewards or point system is great love getting free stuff

I like the specials they have here. Just sorry its all the way in Bridgeport, dont always know the specials. Nice, friendly atmosphere

For Hot or Cold Sandwiches this is the spot they are so good and they are good price $6 for a deli sandwich with all the fix in and $6.75 for pernil(pork) sandwich, all footlong subs

Ive have just came back from my quick shoping after church and I noticed that I have been charged for sixteen items that I did not buy. Hoping that I get that money back in my card tomorrow when I will go to claim. Not happy with this shoping. Thank you for the opportunity of letting me express this out.

One of the main reasons I wouldnt recommend this store to do your big shopping is because of thier prices. If you just need a couple of items and you live close by its worth a little extra for the convenience of getting what you need.

There prices are too expensive, and there quality of product is not that great. However the deli makes a really good turkey sandwich at a great price. Also if you ever need a case of chicken for a cook out, thats the place to go.

After the security guard sat there watched the cameras wasnt paying attention to them obviously, the cashier already had charged me for the doritos, the cashier telling him he charged me, he still then continued to take the bag of doritos out my cart. I was also telling him i was charged.while im trying to make sure my 1 year old daughter is sitting still and not trying to get up. It was embarrassing, the manager and the security guard both check the cameras and seen i had paid but i didnt even get an apology for the embarrassment just a nod.

The service was great the price for the grocery was fair and I got everything I was looking for.

They have good deals I just wish when I have a question someone can answer in English.

There is ample parking for the store, its very neat and clean, well-stocked and you can find a variety of items as well as ethnic foods. However, the prices are outrageous!!! All items are priced anywhere from .50 to $1 over the other popular local grocery stores. 😞

This store is very overpriced! The staff are rude and uninterested in being bothered by anyone. No one is helpful. At least the security guard stopped following people around the store..why you ask ? because they no longer have security guards,, probably a reflection of the lack of store traffic. My advice..Go to Price Rite on Boston Avenue. Prices are better, staff is nicer and helpful, and no one follows you around ! Stop supporting sub par businesses!

Avoid the first of the month.Free pick up and return trip if you spend a certain amount. I would call first just to be sure.Deli section is hit and miss. Twice Ive gotten bad cuts of deli meat sadly.Situated in a small plaza. You can shop for groceries as you do your laundry which is right next door along with a Rite Aid.

Bridgeport # I think Compare Super market is OK because it supports recycling of can and bottles that are bought in other stores unlike some Supermarkets/ redemption centers. Example Price Rite is very selective about its own products cans and bottles return policy.

The deli makes the best sandwiches ever...

Besides the fact that they are overpriced...On Sunday August 26th, 2018, who ever was working at the deli (girl and guy)... completely disrespected Puerto Ricans. While being in line... they spoke poorly about Puerto Rico. This is while people were in line waiting to place thier order. They didnt care that they were offending anyone. Will not be returning.

I hate this store for more reasons than i care to describe, besides the fact everything is above average prices in any other supermarket. In a word expensive and not worth shopping at!

For people who actually works for a living makes it harder to do a proper shopping in this place. I see myself shopping mostly for meats only.. Lucky if i buy eggs or bread or anything else. But compares is nice but too overpriced as alot of people agree. Those who dont agree either they are loaded with money or food stamps. Just saying the truth.. No offense to anyone. .. So compares please drop your prices or drop the prices in mid month after 15th. Noticed your little game on 1st thru the 10th. 5 extra day later will die down shoppers . makes it more convenient for others to get a decent shopping done...

There staff are very rude and follow people around & they never have news sales ads and there prices are ridiculously expensive for food that is about to expire.

Prices are high and meats are cut to thin and short for families. Whatever happened to full family packs of meat, not two steaks for $12.00 and up, nice cuts not pancake slices.
