Wonderful experience at Brake Centers of America, highly recommend. The price I received was significantly less than Midas AND included a brake fluid flush which Midass quote did not. I went to get my brakes checked out they were squeezing a little. Everyone was so nice they checked out my truck and I didnt even need the brakes. They were so honest with me and explained in detail about what was going on with my truck. I highly recommend them.

Very friendly, honest, and all around excellent service! I was told by another auto shop that I needed to get my front brake pads/rotors replaced as well as my struts/shocks, which would cost over $2000. However, Emilio and his staff thoroughly inspected my car and told me that there was nothing wrong with my brakes, struts, and shocks. To my relief, they told me that my brakes wouldnt need to be replaced until closer to winter time. They just recommended a brake fluid flush, which saved me tons of money. I am very grateful for their honesty and will definitely be taking my car here for future service! Thank you so much!

My name on here is wrong but I went here 2 weeks ago and I must say that I received the best customer service experience. I had gotten my car close to 6 months ago from the dealership and I kept hearing this noise (growling sound)from my car. Basically to sum it up I had to come here to get my brakes checked (since the dealership wasn’t doing their job right)and luckily all I needed to do was change my rotors and brake pads. I’m a new driver and didn’t want to take any chances with my brakes. I wasn’t even driving my car because I thought my brakes were about to give out on me. Luckily that wasn’t the issue 🙏🏽❤️ It sounds simple but it felt so good to drive my car and not hear that sound anymore. He explained to me that he had to bleed my brakes (something I’m new to) but was needed. He told me that my rotors and pads were badly rusted and that I will not feel that spongy feeling anymore due to taking the excess air/fluid out of my brakes. The guys took their time on my car no rushed job. Kind people overall I recommend anyone to go to them. Don’t play with your brakes save your life and others. He also rotated my tires and examined them because I was going to get some new ones and he told me that there’s no need for it they’re not dry rotted or anything. Which saved me money !

If I could give more stars I would. I made an appointment online the day before and my car was taken in at my exact appointment time. Quoted a fair price and actually paid less because my car was finished well before the expected time. The guys there are knowledgeable, friendly, and even put on criminal minds to keep me entertained while I waited lol. Ill definitely be back for future services.

Brake sensor on right front wheel was screeching. Got a 10am appt same day - inspected the brakes, suggested new pads on all four, out the door by 11am and I got to watch a movie while I waited. First time customer - saw that they support little league baseball for over 20 years. Very happy and the kids are glad the car doesnt make that noise anymore.

The Lexus dealerships service department told me that I needed over $1,700 in brake work on my Lexus. I was shocked, but Im not stupid! A friend told me about Brake Centers of America and Bill Pelletier. I brought the car to Brake Centers, and they completed the job for $565. Moral of the story... deal with honest people, get quality work from a brake specialist, go to Brake Centers of America.

I wanted to change my brakes with cost in mind. My car is older 2008 Camry so I asked if my rotors are still good, dont replace them. The tech said they were good, so we did just the brakes. After leaving the shop and getting on the highway I noticed a strong pulsing when I hit the brakes. They said give it time to break in, a couple of weeks. I did that and it did not go away. They then replaced the rotors with new ones and over about a month it got better but then came back. I contacted them again and they replaced my rotors and now it is smooth again, like new. I guess I got a bad rotor, but they covered it under warranty at no cost. Thank you

An amazing experience! Drove to Bridgeport from Stamford with a 10 year old car, always expecting to hear bad news. Well not today and not at Brake Centers of America! Car was quickly evaluated and no work was needed. No work, no expense. Honest, professional, and reliable.

After trying 3 different shops in the course of 2 years and spending major money on “expert” repair, my intermittent brake problem still kept coming back. I basically gave up and was getting ready to dump the car since it is almost 20 years old. The frustrating part is other than the brake issue, the car runs flawlessly. So... since I commute to Bridgeport from NY every day I decided to look for a local place near my job and try one more time to get the problem fixed (against my better judgement lol). Well finding Brake Center of America was like finding gold!! The guys broke the job down to me and assured me that I wouldn’t have any more issues. More importantly backed it up with a warranty!!! Now that’s confidence in your expertise.. the job wasn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for and I got 30 years of experience and quality workmanship!! I am super happy to report that FINALLY my brake issue has been solved!! I can’t thank you guys enough. I finally have the peace of mind I’ve been searching for.. I was first told it would be an hour and a half to two hours to replace rear brakes and one rotor and a caliper brake line it wasnt until was 3 hours& a half hours later when the job was completed. I took the car drove it and realized that the brakes were not adjusted properly and the car was veering when I applied the brakes. Another hour and a half later I ended up getting my vehicle& realizing on the drive home that the rear caliper was slightly engaged when the brakes were not applied, resulting in the breaks smoking and catching fire. The managers reply was sorry sir we are not in the business of diagnosing failing parts within the braking system, but if you would like you can buy a new caliper and bring it in and we will install it for free. I purchased the new caliper and ad them install it after another hour spent and I drove the car around the block and it was still rubbing and burning and I was told that this was normal wearing time noise and smells. when I arrived home the rear caliper was smoking yet again. I called and asked to speak with the manager and was I was told that he was out on a road test and I needed to call back later.

Then I came today for my 11 oclock appointment and I was told it would be a 15 minute wait. 45 minutes later, I still wasnt taken and no information was given to me for the delay.
