Came here less than a year ago and got my muffler changed from these guys, today as I’m driving on the highway the muffler completely falls off. I came here because they’re the ones that did the work and their lift was broken and they were refusing to work on my truck because their lift wasn’t working. I own a dually gmc truck that’s lifted a little over a foot over the ground and they were trying to tell me they couldn’t work under the car not only that the guy was trying to call me a liar saying I got this done 5 years ago because he said he’s been working here everyday for the past 5 years and doesn’t remember seeing my truck. Customer Service as you can tell us horrible. The guys wouldn’t give me any way to contact the “boss” or owner and wouldn’t take responsibility for the work that was done even after I showed them the transactions from about 9 months ago. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. I could’ve just paid someone who doesn’t know anything about cars to do this and they probably would’ve done a better job. Mind you this muffler was brand new when installed.

I had a rattling heat shield and some other issue going on with my car that required some sawing and welding.They were able see me on a very short notice and I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Ronald helped the time pass quickly with his great conversation skills! Elda worked on my car and he is efficient at his job! Daniel provided great customer service from start to end! These guys are down to earth and straight forward about the service(s) I needed. I’d recommend this shop to others and would return for future needs.Thank you Elda, Ronald and Daniel! Overall a good place for quick fix. Friendly staff - might be bit confusing while communicating with the guy who runs the place. Fair prices compared to neighborhood. You can get your own parts from outside (Autozone) and they can help to fix this parts to your car.

I have been using American Muffler & Brake for emergency/quick repairs on brakes /exhaust for my 2008 Mazda 5 for the past 2 years. Funky shop, but friendly, & honest service. What I appreciate is not being charged for pre-repair diagnostics like most shops & being able to buy my own parts for most repairs. Daniel ( the owner) treats his female customers with respect and will refer you to another shop if your car requires major repairs beyond his capabilities.
