Pursat carries most of the specialized basics I need to cook my Vietnamese, Thai and pan-Asian dishes. The young woman who works there gives me cooking tips and substitution options. Shes Cambodian and will sometimes tell me what Cambodian dishes are equivalent to what Im making. I havent made one yet but hope to try something soon. I highly recommend this wonderful market.

Ive been going here since I was 4 or 5 years old with my parents.. Im in my thirties now. .. and just went there recently. The young lady in there is sooo nice ( I think she owns it now, has been there since I been going).. they have everything you need for Khmer-Asian cuisine. Everytime I go I need to get MR.Brown coffee or coconut juice ...it brings back so many good memories =)

Nice Asian grocery store in Bridgeport. Just your basic necessities for Asian food. Know the owner and theyre very friendly. Cleanest place out of the bunch in Bridgeport. If you need an Asian staples stop by.

Great local asian store owned by a very nice Cambodian family. Fresh selections of hard to find asian produce and herbs. They also have a rotating freshly made asian dessert and snacks.
