Small store. Best for grab and go meals and baked goods. Nice floral department and unique food gifts but not a place to do primary weekly essential grocery shopping. As Olivia mentioned they do have a weekly meal deal with a great price.

While passing thru they had a decent selection for a “grab n go” and prices are decent too. Will definitely stop back and would encourage other folks to stop and check them out.

This store is a gem for high quality food. They have things I cant find anywhere else in town. Its a beautiful store with the flowers and general atmosphere.

This store is outside of my price range but I can still find things that are reasonable price comparable to Publix. Their produce is very impressive witch exotic fresh mushrooms, bakery selection is like a trip around Europe and my favorite product is huge panini sandwich for 7.99 at the deli. When I win the lottery I will shop there every day. Very chill employees.

From the moment I walked in I thought the store was so lovely with all the flowers, Etc. Prices can be a little high... there was a gluten-free macaroni & cheese (for 2) in the frozen food section for $14.99!? I literally thought that had to be a mistake. Otherwise nice selection, nice ambiance, nice store to shop in.

Clean and well stocked store. Meat leaves to be desired... not everyone eats grilled steak only. What ever happened to a good roast. Was a bit disappointed that they carried only pre-packaged grass fed beef - hate to taste meat when it has been in plastic. Also, where are the corn and carrot sufflees? Will definitely be back because they have all the other specialty goodies. Maybe the butcher and I will have a chat.

My wife and I use to buy all of our steaks from The Fresh Market. The last several times we have, including today the filets were filled with fat and gristle. I will no longer spend the time and money to shop there. Decided to now go to Sperrys butcher shop. Tried them twice after Fresh Market disappointments and the filets were outstanding. I would love to know what has happened to the meat section at The Fresh Market. Is it cheaper purchasing on their end? Training new employees on cutting meat.

Went for the first time and so far we have thrown away the bread and pastry. It is expensive

Ive had more issues with inferior products here than any other grocery store in town, which is surprising given their reputation for quality. Whats also annoying is they NEVER answer the phones. Its as if the store management function doesnt exist.

Every time I walk into The Fresh Market, I leave with BAGS OF GREAT, FRESH, and DELICIOUS FOOD! I get their Meal Deals!!! They feed different/custom amounts of people! Last one was boneless pork chops with a tangy, sweet, and slightly spicy mango chutney with veggies we baked and awesome rolls!!! You dont have to ask if I will be going back!😎😜

I waited over 10 minutes for someone to help me at the seafood counter. A man behind the meat counter said he would send someone out. He then proceeded to disappear and no one ever came out. This happens far too often. After ten minutes I unloaded my cart and left the store buying nothing. I will never be back again.

The prices might be a few cents higher than Kroger across the street, but its definitely worth it for the experience of coming into this store. It always smells yummy, they have beautiful displays, and the variety of healthy options is never disappointing. My husband and I even consider it a mini-date just to walk around the store and find new organic, free-trade, cruelty-free brands of items you can only find here.

Always go to FM for their chicken salad 🥗, Im a little biased, (used to work for them in Winchester, Va) til they closed the store. Bit I have them 3 stars because they didnt have alot of product out today?! I lost all my produce same day. Twice. They refused to refund me. Instead they braged about how this is a sure sign my produce is real. Seriously? Can I get 2 days from it? Dont go here unless you will be using all of it day one.

I love The Fresh Market. Split my time between Atlanta And Nashville, never had a bad experience in Atlanta. My initial experience in Nashville was Great. That said, we decided to stay in Nashville for Christmas this year and drove from our Home in Downtown Nashville to purchase our traditional Rib Roast. What I encountered at the Meat department was Horrible. Service time was short but the individual that I encountered was rude, unprofessional and incompetent. I asked for my roast to be seasoned and was told they were out of seasoning, thats ok, I can do it myself. Asked if they had anything other than on display and he said NO, and we are too busy to prepare anything other than these, thats fine too. He wrapped the roast and I proceeded to checkout. Cashier was super friendly, I paid and made my way out. As we were driving away my BF looked at the receipt and asked why the roast was 200 bucks. I was a bit taken a back, and noticed that I was charged for a prime filet rather than a premium choice rib roast. Again. They were busy, I get it. Made my way back inside and the cashier said to head back to the meat department and ask them to re-lable the roast and the difference upon checkout would be refunded (which it was). Where things got sideways were upon the return to the Meat Department. To my surprise there were now 6 additional roasts on display, this is within a 10 min window of my asking for a larger roast and being told NO. Also to my surprise was a different employee activity seasoning a roast for a different customer? I was told they were out. I asked for the roast to be re-labled by the same individual that originally labeled it and he rolled his eyes. When I asked if it could be seasoned he reminded me that they were out, he got angry when I pointed out what was going on right behind him and said we are busy and dont have time, I pressed and he reluctantly seasoned it for me. Its sad that the Nashville location cant live up to the service you receive in Atlanta. Luckily we have a Whole Foods in Downtown Nash, I will do business with them moving forward.

Great selection for a specialty, gourmet type grocery. Look and feel is kinda like DAgostinos in Manhattan if you are familiad with that. We bought individually pieces of cakes to take out for dessert. Food was delicious, and the associate used lots of sanitation procedures to reduce possible Covid exposure.

I always liked this place. I would just see a separate aisle for those with food allergies. It make things a lot easier.

Will not help during covid for older adults or high risk that wish not to come in.

Fresh Market use to be a great store. I’ve order several times from the bakery since they do not have a lot of selection out anymore and both times it was not filled. I make sure to get a name each time I order over the phone. There was also a lady that came in at the same time I was standing there and her order was not filled. She was taking her stuff out of town to family at their request for Fresh Market. If this is the way it is on Halloween I will order some other place for pies and cakes for the Holidays. Can’t risk it not being prepared or correct. So sad...it really use to be great. Management will ruin a business. Get it together Fresh Market.

This is my go to grocery store even though it is a bit out of town. I head out to the Fresh Market to avoid the struggles of parking at Whole Foods or Trader Joes in Green Hills. In addition to being able to get in and out easy, they always have great fresh fruits and veggies. I eat a pretty clean diet and can find the majority of my unique items on the shelves. I love that the store is smaller and easy to navigate. The staff is always extremely helpful in helping to find product or provide service at the Fresh counters. I have had the bakery make custom cakes and the prices are unbeatable while being a hit with the crowd. My last and certainly not least favorite parts of my trip are the Fresh flowers! I always grab at least one bunch and they usually last for 2 weeks. The team will also make you up a beautiful bouquet for any event or gift.

This place is just pure quality. We often take advantage of their amazing butcher counter, cheese shop, and their bakery counter.They also have unique products that we cant fun anywhere else. Like an old fashioned bulk candy section, bulk snacks and dried fruits and vegetables, a great selection of dairy replacement products for the lactose intolerant.The shop is also great looking on the inside, offers free coffee while you shop and great customer service.

I love this place. A large, boutique kind of store. Great atmosphere. Unique selection of foods. Great prepared food. Quick. I go here at least twice a week--mostly for their awesome sushi and coconut water, but occasionally for their salads, sandwiches and nuts. Great people. A quieter place. Parking can be a challenge around lunch hour, but not too much of an issue otherwise. Its not cheap by any means. More costly than any other grocery store in the area, but their quality is MUCH better than the others and just feels more peaceful. Its a good escape in the middle of the day. They care about their customers and always are happy to see you.

Love going here on Tuesdays for the meat specials. We load up on beef and chicken and are then set for the week! Parking can be a pain during lunch time but other than that - always a good shopping trip!

Fresh Market is a great place to get butcher cut meats. Deli items, all kinds of baked goods like chocolate pie and chocolate chip pecan pie our favorites. Nice produce all kinds of nuts. Candys in the old-fashioned jars you can pick a pound or whatever size you like .Specialty bottled drinks that you dont see everywhere, nice array of different cheeses- coffee a little bit of everything.

We come here often for their fresh meat. Weve had baby back ribs, steaks, whole turkey, whole chicken, ground chuck, shrimp, wingettes/flats and drumettes. This is the only place in town that I have found flats. I recommend calling first for availability if you are driving a ways to ensure they have what you need in stock. There has been a few times that they were out of stock for what we wanted. Since their meat is always fresh and never frozen, they do have limited supplies. Its well worth it to get your meat here though for any quality cooks you may be doing. The meat department workers are also usually accommodating for special requests.Weve had a cake from their bakery once. It was a little pricey, but was very rich in flavor.

The name says it all fresh fresh fresh, produce and Meats and Deli items were off the chain fresh. A lot of different varieties of produce and grocery items not found in your average grocery store. Fast friendly service you can almost taste anything before you buy it especially in the deli or Bakery. The only thing is its very dim lighting, I thought I was about to fall asleep and take a nap because the dim lights LOL but everything I bought there was awesomely good and reasonably priced

Reading these recent reviews, and Im shocked. Theres someone filtering out the bad reviews and only leaving, the rare, good ones. There has to be. This place has all of the potential to be great. But, its not. Not even close.Between the roaches and rats, the employees not performing the basic food safety guidelines, and the fact that they tell you a certain cut of meat is one thing, and its not, this place deserves to be shut down.How many times has this particular store failed its heath inspection? 4? 5? No, more than that. The bakery has never once seen a cleaned pan, the meat department has never known how to change gloves between handling beef and shrimp. Washing the same pair of gloves one in one day is common practice. The deli department thinks that just simply spraying their dishes is washing them. They cross contaminant on a regular basis, and the managers act like its no big deal. And this is AFTER theyve FAILED (with a score in the 50s) the health department.There are constant out of stocks. If you ask them to check for something in the back, they roll their eyes at you.The nasty lady in the bakery, will wipe her nose and then serve you WITHOUT gloves. The customer service is a joke. They arent there to make you happy.That store is disgusting. Theres a wall near produce that is pretty much made of black mold, they fixed it by putting panels over it. Its like putting a bandaid over a bullet wound.If you care about yourself and your health, youd stay away from this nasty place.

For a small market they pack a variety of stuff in the store. Great selection of local candy(my favorite). They carry some unique items that you cant find in other stores. Good meat selections. On the pricey side.

Love our new store! I bought roses on a Wednesday and 8 days later they are STILL beautiful! Chicken and ground chuck at 50% off was a wonderful surprise and all foods purchased have been delicious! I love the meat products, always delicious, cant say the same for the fruit. I have never purchased veg so cant comment on that. I usually go here for convenience as it is next door to where I work. I love the Tuesday chicken deal and the weekly meal deal. Very friendly but sometimes hard to find someone to assist you. When you do, whoever you find is alway helpful and pleasant.

Made the terrible decision to order my rib roast for Christmas. Ordered on Thursday for Sunday pickup. It wasn’t ready. They didn’t even have my order. I had to give them mine. What was worse is every customer that was there with me had the same problem. I questioned did they fully cut the bones away from the meat and how they tied the bones together. My mistake for not tying it again. The roast slid off the bones while cooking so we took it out to remove the bones and guess what - they were still attached in a few pieces. Not enough to keep it from slipping. So we had to handle a hot roast cut the rest of the bone off and get it back in the oven. Terrible. Gave it a two because once we ate the roast the flavor was great. Will never order my prime rib there again. Will go back to Publix. I never wait till the last minute and then this. They were sending emails and advertising out front and couldn’t fill orders.

Small grocery store so they cant stock everything. Lots of fresh fruit & other produce. I love the various seasoning of chicken & cornish hen. Pre prepared dishes & sides to take home for dinner. Bakery is good too!

This isnt your typical grocery store. They have some unusual finds from time to time and their service is warm and welcoming. Some things can be a bit pricey, but as long as you know what youre shopping for those things can be avoided. The prepared foods are delicious.

Love this store! Only drawback is they discontinued the black cherry pie that I love. But the banana nut bread is fantastic!

Produce was wilty and missing in some cases (green leaf lettuce). Certainly not Fresh. Banana bread was over baked. The bottled juice selection is nearly non-existent--squeezed in between bottled water and drink mixers.

Not the cheapest or best selection but always a pleasureable experience. Great Deli and breads too.

Overall I have always had good experiences at Fresh Market. Their prices tend to be more expensive but they sell a lot of products you cant find anywhere else (minus maybe Whole Foods).The only thing I really wish is that they would have a better fish selection. Publix has a much greater variety of fish than Fresh Market.

They really are running a great store here. I love going here because the place is so clean and neat. It makes the shopping experience a little pleasant.

I have been shopping at Fresh Market for over 8 years and have always loved the employees and the fresh meat and vegetables choices offered. I have seen a decline in customer service and the products offered over the past year and a half. Recently this is reaching an all time low. Many times they are out of meat on the weekends and some of the meat counter employees are condescending and very short with customers. The lines to check out are usually long and the check out employees are no longer cheerful or happy. I shop at many different locations and this seems to be only happening at the location in Brentwood, TN Lilly G

I like their products they are great, their cashiers are not friendly, they do not have a check out system and when it is crowded it is a mad place to check out. Poor management I suppose. It is a great store under the right management to shop.

I love this grocery store, lots of fresh food and just about everything is a healthy option. They have really great deals on McCray at the produce department particularly if you sign up for their flyer delivered via email. You can get USDA choice filet mignon for $10 a lb.
