Plenty of lines open for faster service than other stores. Plenty of different ethnic backgrounds of food. Which I like. Can be a tad bit pricy but food always good and fresh.

My mother and I went in today to get some groceries. We first noticed that there were a few flies crawling on the bakery bread. We continued our grocery shopping (avoided buying the bread of course). So we get everything we need and then things start to go down hill. The transaction seemed to be going well at the start, the lady scans everything and puts them in a bag. My mother puts her card in entered her pin and the machine asked her to remove the card like any other transaction. The lady who was attending us turned around to start talking to her coworker and attended the other customer so we grab our cart and go. So we exit the store and my mom realized that she couldn’t find her receipt but didn’t think much of it (and at this point we had reached the end of the parking lot where our car was).. until the cart locked and we heard someone yelling at us. Here comes 4 store works yelling at us to stop because the lady didn’t even process the transaction. We didn’t even know that she had to use some key for it to process? We are not from around the area so we were confused at how that works. They proceeded to surrounded us and the one security grabbed the cart. The three guys gave us looks and the same lady kept telling my mom she had to come back into the store. If she had been paying attention in the first place it would have saved us the embarrassment. Seriously? you took all that time to come out here and unnecessarily bring THREE other people with you for a transaction YOU messed up. Don’t think we’ll ever be back.

Been shopping here since it was Pathmark back in the day, but now hearing about all the expired things on the shelves on the comments below and even an item I purchased today without realizing it was expired will lead to me never shopping here again. Be more accountable, the item I purchased was a deli meat that expired 2 weeks ago. You guys can kill someone with that lack of care.

Make sure to check expiration dates. They have tons of expired products laying around and will give you a hard time to return them.

I do not speak much Spanish (I blame my parents!) and I ran into some rudeness here because of it. I went to the seafood section and was full on ignored. There were two men working there. One heard me say hello, looked at me and went to do something else. After waiting 5 mins he reluctantly came back and tried his hardest to dismiss me so I took my business elsewhere. I get there’s a communication difference but I’ve gone to other latino stores and have had no issue. I shop in the Brentwood, Bayshore, and central Islip area regularly. I still know some Spanish and will use my Spanglish but the lack of respect was shocking. I’ll stick to gala foods for all my traditional foods.

Very disappointed by the poor customer service from the fish market staff. As a first time buyer my first impression and experience at this store are far from pleasant. The employee that handled my order was not helpful, and would not cooperate by providing information of the product i was imquiring by telling me it was not his job to provide me with simple info as how many pounds were there total in my order. I was very puzzled as to why i was being treated unfairly. I did not engage into an argument and when i requested to see a mamager i was told he would come in later on the day. As a US Army veteran, i hope this gets acknowledge.

Make shure the prices there.Different price is in product. And cashier charge different price in computerThey can screw upIf you say to them. They say no if you like take it or leave it.

If a 15 foot wall of beans and masa isnt enough of a reason to go.... This place has an incredible array of Latin American, West Indian and Asian food, as well as some otherwise hard to find oddments for New Yorkers (like scrapple!). I went in for aloe leaves and left with a full basket of favorites old and new. The prices are fair, and the market is spacious and well kept. Food Bazaar is definitely worth visiting regularly!

Few of employees seemed to speak English!And this can by frustrating, as they seen to be bias against those who do not understand spanish!I go there for convenience, but unfortunately, Im not comfortable while there...

This store upset me every time I go in there. Theyy make announce and always in Spanish dont get me wrong I have nothing against it but I ask the management about it and she was rude and she lied and said she does say it an English than made announced in front of me in Spanish I will be going back and talk to the owner.

A well stocked supermarket featuring foods from all over. Also they have pretty unique music for a supermarket. Today one of the songs i noted was the alien ant farm cover of smooth criminal. They heavily feature oriental and latin foods. Great place to experiment with dinner plans.

For my 1st time being there...quite impressed with my visit. Quite impressive selection of international food. Good prices and fresh food are abundant. Left one of my shopping bags by accident and returned later with receipt. Was promptly given my missing bag...good customer service and nice layout.

I visit this supermarket every other week the quality of vegetables and fruits varies depending on the day I tend to find better quality on the weekends but early in the day later gets to crowded and they might run out of something, the supermarket app is useless getting the discount takes to much money and time you rather be more careful about what you buy and see cheaper alternatives in the store overall is very convenient and has a hot food area and cold cut sandwiches and wraps that come convenient for family gatherings or parties

I love going to this grocery store because of its variety and the prices. I usually get a lot of fruits and vegetables here and they’re always fresh. I’d choose this supermarket over Shoprite in a heartbeat. However I feel like they could try a bit harder to work on the interior design because it’s not very appealing and parts of it still haven’t been replaced since taking over the old Pathmark

The people were very friendly. every one was bilingual so that helped. the store was clean. the bathrooms were kept up with and smelled good. they had a lot of goo prices. also there were a lot of specials!

Went there for chickens and they ran out, cashier was rude saying I have to pay full price for produce being that Im not spending more than $20! No clear signs saying this around the store!!! Waste of time never going back to this store!

Cashiers are nice enough but the inventory staff are completely clueless as to where stuff is. Look for an older looking person who works there and ask them for whatever you need if you cannot locate it.They do have a variety of international foods.Prices could be better but they have lots of sales.

Good, clean, weekly specials and great selection. One problem is the wrapping paper used by the deli. It is so cheap that it disintegrates into the meat or cheese, so I wont use their deli until this problem is fixed. Other than that this place is ok

OMG if you miss Pathmark fried chicken you will love Food Bazaar fried chicken. The prices for meats is wonderful! Loads of seafood. Sandwiches made for lunch or Heroes for parties!They have a lot of different food (Spanish,Chinese).

Great prices on Spanish items. Dont buy anything other then that!! Lol the meats look old and bad. The fruits are never sweet. They do have awesome sales on rice and oil. I go once a few months to stack up on rice and veg. Oil and sometimes paper towels/toilet paper. Definitely recommend to go see for yourself.

It hasnt a denial and some of the for their Foods arent there like Chopsticks I try to find them but there werent any and some of the food there is like average supermarket food like vegetables fruits they werent like the high omighty kind it was more like an average there were some good ones some bad fruits someone that were already soft but its Sunday so I guess Monday they have their new fresh produce

The Deli, Im very disappointed I call 3 days before for a order and thank God I call before picking up my order because guess what it wasn’t going to be done, they didn’t put it on list of orders. My order was not there so I had to reorder again. So I recommend if you make a order call to confirm your pick up before going.

I gave a one because of the manager the store I would have given a four or maybe a fiveI found the manager to be rude and a jackassI was there one day with my daughter we was looking for oriental noodles my daughter asked him where could we find then. He said they dont sell oriental food and walked away (meanwhile theres a whole section of oriental food)I called him back and told him how rude and unprofessional he was. One of the employees and security over heard the conversation and they tried to help us meanwhile he again walked awayNeedless to say I no longer shop there

I will never shop in this store again due to principal. I brought some ice cream sandwiches from here on 7/13 and didnt open them until 7/23 only to find out that they were no good. Since 7 days had past, I could not return them. That tells me that everything I buy from here has to be opened and inspected within 7 days. Thats absolutely ridiculous and tells me that you probably already know that you are selling bad products and God knows how long that ice cream was sitting unfrozen for. Youve just lost a loyal local customer over some over cream. Your prices werent the best anyway so youve motivated me to go up the road to Shop Rite from now on. Youll never get another dime from me!

As a supermarket they have no discount and real sales for ordinary good Americans. They are too much profit oriented because their prices are too high because food bazar mostly depend on foodstamps peoples as their customers who has government money and those customer dont care about high prices during spending our tax money. We are loosing in both way giving our tax money to government and buying products on high prices from business like food bazar. They have probably no American value to help American citizens their only motive is to make profits from American government money by selling products to food stamps peoples who dont care about high price.
