I can now see why an appointment is a must, very busy. My issue was specific to front end vibration which could be quite expensive. I called in to schedule an appointment which was painless. Everyone I spoke to was very pleasant and professional at the same time. The tech advisors are very detail oriented which makes it easier for everyone in the end. I work in aircraft maintenance as well as a former Navy aviation technician so maintenance has been a significant part of my life. In my case, the issue was not my suspension but an issue with my tires and rims which I suspected. The condition of my car was documented and presented to me so I could be aware of its condition and to make informed choices. I will definitely return for my auto maintenance needs.
I love keep it new. I called them dead in the heat of summer because my AC went out. They got me in ASAP and the rest was history. Ive been going to them ever since for auto repairs at times it can be pricey but they get the job done they are transparent and they keep you well informed. Ask for Cathy when you go shes my favorite customer service rep even though they are all nice and friendly.

I chose this shop based on the positive yelp reviews and they have just earned another 5 star review. I have a commuter car ( 2010 corolla.) I had a general idea of what I needed to have done and took my car there for an official multi point inspection. I called and spoke to Anne and she was genuinely friendly and efficient while booking my appointment.I arrived the following day at my appointment and was greeted by Kathy, one of the service advisors. From our initial point of contact she was also genuinely friendly and completely focused on getting my car checked in and at explaining what type of overall inspection the technicians were going to do. It was also clearly communicated to me that due to a high volume of vehicles my car wouldnt be ready the same day and I certainly appreciate my expectations being set for the vehicle to remain overnight.I received an email within a few hours of leaving my car with a detailed report with 4 categories ( see photos.) The report also comes with actual photos of the items needing attention and or repair. Kathy then called me and reviewed each item line by line. I was impressed. I was also pleasantly surprised to see on my report that there were no expensive repairs flagged as needing immediate attention and the quoted amount was definitely in line with what I was anticipating. I would highly recommend this auto repair shop and will tell you that all of the front office staff are equally knowledgeable and friendly. Keep It New was great! They did a very thorough inspection of all my systems when I brought my aged, neglected Subaru Forester to them. I especially like their reports, which includes photos of all inspected components and green/yellow/red rating system for urgency of repairs.They gave me detailed estimates of recommended work and took the time to discuss each repair with me directly.Linn was great in helping me sort out what I needed done, and never tried to upsell me. I got a chance to meet all three of the great ladies out front, Kathy, Ann, and Chopper (Annie); in addition to being quite knowledgeable, they are warm, friendly, and welcoming.Five stars!
Had my 76 F250 towed there because it would not start was told by mechanic it was too old and had too many problems for them to handle got it home and replaced 8 Dollar battery Cable Problem solved. Those old Trucks are pretty Complicated 😂 Hauled 25 Bail of Hay the next morning and it runs great

Very organized,friendly and detailed. Just an idea, I love that you back the cars in and make it easy to pull away but during the summer sun beats on the front of the car and it was extremely hot. Maybe pull the cars in forward so the front interior and steering wheel will not get super hot. Otherwise very thoughtful.

From the moment you call to get information and set an appointment, to the time you are greeted and thanked for your business, the whole staff is courteous, welcoming and professional. They obviously know what they are doing and they make sure to explain their process and reasoning to make sure you are comfortable from the start. Their use of customer facing communication technology makes the experience seamless and transparent.For this particular visit, they were asked to diagnose and fix my AC unit that was starting to blow warm air. Before handing over the keys, I was informed of exactly what they look for during their initial inspection, why they look for those indicators and then why they require a follow up appointment a few days afterwards. I knew we were in the right hands with how they handled everything from the start. Upon pickup, they explained their findings and what they are going to check for during the following appointment. The AC unit was immediately blowing cooler air when I left, but I am actually very relieved that they require the follow up to double check that their initial fix, was right for the long term.First impressions matter, and they will now be my family’s first go-to with anything related to our vehicles.
It was my first time going to Keep it New…the were very thorough and explained everything in a way I could understand. It’s a relief not to have to worry about what to check for or keep an eye on because they are doing all of that for me. They did an incredible job. Repaired what had failed, and checked the entire vehicle from top to bottom. I will be bringing all my car woes to them, and serving the engine, transmission, brakes, oil changes etc.Very professional and courteous.

I have an older truck with a manual transmission and a hydraulic clutch. The clutch was feeling soft. I checked the fluid and it was filthy. I found Keep It New from reading reviews and brought it in to get checked out.If you dont know. Clutches are like brakes. Eventually they all need replacement. A clutch job isnt cheap or easy. The Mechanics at Keep it New checked my truck out and did something surprising. Instead of jumping into a new clutch job, they flushed and replaced the fluid and did a test drive. They found it a lot better. This cost me a tenth of what a full clutch job would have been. Well done!

Very cordial staff, appears to have done the work properly, but did not reset the service required indicators, although they said they did. Ill be bringing my car back to have that done. Otherwise, seems like a good shop. They provided a good report on the status of the car.
I have a 2004 Tundra with about 200k miles. It needed major maintenance work because the truck is 17 years old. The mechanic did an excellent job and my old truck is like new. The co-owner Anne was very nice and kept me well informed through the whole process. This business is top notch and I would not hesitate in taking any vehicle to their shop. They are courteous and professional.

This was by far the best experience I have had with an automotive service. I took my newly purchased truck in for a brake inspection anticipating needing brakes. They fully inspected my brakes and reported I am not on need at this time, but they also did the most thorough inspection of my whole vehicle and documented every component. They spent a half hour going over the most detailed report I have ever seen. All this without me asking. They did not pressure or push for any service. They did all this without charging me. They have my business going forward.

A very reasonable auto shop with affordable prices. My wife has taken her vehicle there for service (2006 Toyota Corolla) and at first, I was hesitant on taking my vehicles there for service, as I’ve always taken them to the dealership. Quite frankly, I’m very impressed with the customer service and “attention to detail” that the mechanics have conducted throughout their inspection and work. I’m definitely getting all my maintenance for my vehicles done at this auto shop.

I was very happy with everybody I talked with, but surprised there was no shuttle to take me home being a senior we only have the one car, luckily my son was off that day.Our car was there 3 days and they could not find out why it would not start and or release the key. So I picked it up Thursday afternoon picked up my grandson and went home, the next day my wife went shopping and when she got to the carAnd put the her items in the car it would not start, turn the key and nothing and the key was locked.She then called me and then I called Keep it New, Kathy told me that if I wanted it towed there now maybe someone could take a quick look at it since I did not have an appointment ( made one for the 31st. Which was the earliest) since I knew that was not going to happen on Friday I told Kathy I would bring it back then. So I called my wife back and talked her thru opening the hood and shaking the wires next to the battery and the car started, but lost the radio and turn signals so when she got home I pulled out the Radio fuse and put back in and radio and turn signals work again until the next time it acts up and won’t start.I originally worked with Ann and have told her all my stories about our car, abd on Saturday I sent her several reviews my wife found on Car Garu with people having the same issues, I hope she got them.Lee I’m sorry to go on and on but you did askHa ha I hope when I bring it in again they can fix our problems.Thank youGil britto

Initial impression was that they didnt want or need my business because they are the busiest shop in town as the receptionist told me when I asked why the wait for a diagnostic appt was so long.Then I was told that since my car didnt always make the noise I would have to leave it there for a few days. ? When I mentioned this was my only car I was told I could rent a car while they kept it. I dont have the funds to rent car for no reason..Refused to look at a video I had taken of the noise and the area where it was coming from. Not too helpful. Went to another place with experienced mechanics who looked at my video and was able to then look at the engine around that area, fixed the issue very quickly. Did not even charge me!! They have a customer for life.( Precision Brake and Front End)
I had no appointment but were able to accommodate me. Service was completed in less than an hour. The price was reasonable. Tire rotations were cheaper in comparison with the other shop I used to take my care for quarterly maintenance.

They are honest and upfront about the costs and extremely detailed about what needs to be done or is being done to your car. I live in Martinez but drive out to Brentwood because I know I can trust them to take care of my car and me.

The 5 Star rating this place has is FOR REAL!So, with 3 kids, two dogs, and a job that keeps me busy; time is a luxury I dont often have. With that said, I usually pay a little extra at the drive-thru Valvoline Oil Changes so I can get in and out quickly. Well, I finally had a little extra time so I decided to Yelp some local Oil Change places, and this establishment came up with several glowing reviews, so I figured I would give it a try.I am SOOOOOO happy that I found this place! First off, the price was pretty good for what I got. Im not exaggerating when I say that I probably saved about 40% from the competition. But, thats not all...for just an oil change, they did a pretty thorough inspection of my vehicle and even documented it with pictures on a report that I got a copy of after the oil change.Last but not least, was the level of customer service that they provide; most notably Kathy, one of their customer service reps. Its pretty rare you come across someone like this with her elite level of customer service, I promise you that Im not making this up, she was a true professional.These guys did a pretty awesome job and Ill be taking ALL my vehicles there from now on. Im so glad I found this place!

This can seem a bit overwhelming, however when you take a look at the detail of every single item reviewed you will begin to appreciate their systems of reviewCustomer service was excellent !Especially during this time of restrictions its challenging to be up close and personal, yet i feel as though this company or ( Kathy) provides Individualized customer service.My acura was serviced efficiently, and without delay. I was needing to schedule some routine maintenance for our vehicle. We have never had any done before and I found Keep it New from their great reviews on Google and Yelp. I contacted them and they printed out all of the recommended maintenance for our vehicle and explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions. They were also nice enough to rank what needs to be done from most important to least to give me a road map to eventually get everything done. When speaking to the folks on the phone I felt that everyone there had my best interest in mind and wasnt pushing me to get the highest price item done first. I appreciated the honesty and I really feel like everyone there is honest and trustworthy. I will highly recommend Keep it New to friends, co-workers and family when they need service done on their vehicles.

I came for a simple oil change but received so much more!! As part of their “getting to know you” deal, they rotate tires and performed a complimentary diagnosis on the health of my car which also included pictures of the issues they found. I feel like the personnel at the front desk are just as knowledgeable as the team in the garage. Kathy at the front desk was amazing and I appreciated how she walked me through my car’s diagnosis. Their high quality work and superior customer service is what will keep me coming back!

I just moved to this area last year and its a hassle for me to drive over 45 mins to my old mechanic. Found this little gem on Yelp and everyone that works there is amazing. I called in to make an appointment for an oil change and also wanted to know what I can do about my check engine light. Kathy was very friendly and very helpful. She explained in detail about how much it wouldve cost just to get it diagnosed and what my options were. I felt very comfortable talking with her and didnt feel like they were trying to scam me or anything. After getting my oil changed and tires rotated, Kathy explained everything else that was wrong with my car and what I should do. I LOVED how they did a thorough examination on my car. My side mirror is kinda knocked off and I asked where I can get that fixed, and Anne the other receptionist came out to check on my car and gave me a few options on what to do with that and I was in such awe! This was my first time at Keep It New Auto Service and they have to be the BEST auto shop I have ever been too. From the minute I stepped through the door, Kathy and Ann were extremely welcoming! I have a 1994 Lexus SC 400 with 60,000 miles. My car heater wasnt blowing out hot air. I was told i needed a heat control valve. I was told the part with sensor cost $400+ dolllars $900 with labor. The same part with sensor at the Lexus dealership cost $245.00 after a 15% discount. Another mechanic will install it for $150. I tried to support my local business during the pandemic but they wont act right.lol
