In August 2021 I worked with Kent at Niche Motors to purchase a 2000 Porsche 911. Unfortunately, I am not local to the Brentwood, TN area and I think it is normal that hesitancy sets in when purchasing a 21 year old sports car when youre not able to see the car in person. However, Kent was able to discuss specifics of the vehicle history, fine points of the vehicle interior and exterior condition, etc. with me in great detail to a point where I felt comfortable making the purchase. The vehicle pricing was fair and the buying process itself was pretty painless. He really is a professional. He coordinated shipping and communicated throughout the whole process which put my mind at ease. When the car arrived I took it to my local mechanic to have it checked out. I knew the car was not a creampuff when I purchased and Niche Motors did not advertise so, so I was not surprised with the minor wear and tear issues that were discovered. Kent seemed like a great guy and honest in his sales. I would recommend working with him and Niche Motors.

Couldnt be happier with our experience! Kent was our contact for a 2010 Lexus RX 350. Absolutely zero pressure from start to finish, and he even stayed after hours to accommodate my work schedule. The pricing was very transparent/honest, with the only things tacked on to the sticker price being taxes and the smallest doc fee I saw anywhere during our whole car search process. It was also an extremely fair list price -- I didnt even bother playing the haggling game because of how fairly it was priced! I dealt with an issue with my Audi at Niche. I did not deal with Kent. The work that exceeded well over $1k was careless to say the least. I left feeling ripped off. All the people working there seemed miserable. When I got into my car to leave the lot and I discovered that someone left a greasy used part on my blonde back leather seat. Today, when I get into my car and see that stain I cant help but to think of the people of Niche motors.

Evan helped me as I search for vintage Beetle until I finally settled on a 1967 VW Beetle purchased from the seller in Los Angeles. These really are car guys selling good cars. I walked up the the dealership and was greeted quite quickly by Kent, one of the dealers. He saw the car I was interested in and did not hesitate for a second to let me sit in the car and check out all the features. Bought a vehicle from Josh at Niche in January 2016. I was looking at it on line from 3 hours away. He was able to answer all the specific option questions and check everything out I wanted to know about ahead of a trip for a test drive ahead of time.The photos represented the vehicle well enough but I made a trip in person to test drive and check it out closer. The vehicle met the description and Josh is polite and professional. We took a short trip around the neighborhood, discussed the vehicle condition, and I headed home with no pressure or hard sell tactics.The next day we arrived at a workable deal through emailing a reasonable exchange of what I was looking at and what he could work out. Josh handled all the transfer paperwork, again, with email communication and I was all set to pick it up at a scheduled time on Saturday morning.My wife and I arrived almost on time and they had everything ready so the actual paperwork process and business transaction only took about 10 minutes. We got our temp tag on and were on the road for a three hour drive home in under an hour total, with a little of that hour spent looking at some really sharp older cars. My purchase was 7 years old so it was proven in expected condition on interstate 65 in the first hour or so of real driving.These guys are a little different than most bigger city car lots, and a lot smaller operation than the typical factory mega dealer. I am old enough to safely say I have been here longer than I will be and sometimes I get a little frustrated with younger sales folks but that is not the case here. I consider my experience here to be one of the two best car buying experiences I have ever had, the other was a dad and son operation in Dayton.Some people write bad reviews on businesses because their experience is less than great. I run a small business too, in custom machining, and when less than great happens, trash talking the other guy does not help anything.What does help is a reasonable discussing of reality. Reality in car buying is to know your trades value, know your target vehicles value, be realistic and honest in evaluation of a vehicles condition, and realize car sales folks are not a free service. They either make margin or go broke.I recommend giving these guys a shot if they have what you are looking for, which is rare, I usually dont take time to leave reviews.Visit the lot, if you can, to see the car you are after. If the financial risk of a preowned vehicle is too high for you then check out an extended warranty so you are covered in case there is an unknown mechanical issue.These folks are really nice and easy to be around and talk with. Obviously I liked them and my wife (a licensed psychiatric practitioner) did too, hard to fake her out on a first impression.I would not hesitate to deal with them again in the future.Be kind to each other as well, there is enough hatred in the world already.

Guy sold me a car with a burned out clutch. When I confronted him about it he blamed it on the transporter. I said that it shouldnt be my problem and I need my car fixed. He then got angry and called me the n word and told me to leave before he called the cops. He then said that I better not leave a review because hes just going to claim that hes never done business with me. This man is a con artist.

Im a long time car guy and have run in the same circles as Evan for years. Evan Lomax sold some Porsche parts. Thoroughly misrepresented. Presented as ready to be on and use. That was hardly the case. When I called to express problems I was immediately told I got what was in the photos. Ethical and honest Evan is not. I paid him a great deal of money for parts that are basically good cores needing mechanical repair and not parts ready to be installed. He is the first vendor I have encountered who misrepresented what he was selling. Sad to cross paths with such a lousy vendor. Evan Lomax is the owner and he sold the parts. No integrity. A real toad.
