Unfortunately, my experiences at Everything Weapons range facility have been much less than satisfying. On two occasions Ive driven up at their posted opening time only to find store still locked. It would then be a matter of waiting for an employee to get there and get everything up and running. For whatever financial reason the stores management or ownership moved back the opening time for the summer until 11:00 AM. Im not sure this reflects an interest in serving customers though it may have made sense to save them some money. To make it worse their own website still showed the store opening at 10:00. When I called the stores phone I got a confused message about having been closed on earlier dates in August, then something about being closed for renovation that gave me the impression the store/range wouldnt be opening.Another customer who was also waiting called the manager whom he knew. The manager arrived shortly and allowed the other customer and customer with him to enter to use the range. They apparently had previously arranged to be there to shoot and had not been told the range wouldnt be open before 11. The manager told me they couldnt change the website to reflect correct hours.I havent decided whether or not I will give this range another opportunity. Good ranges are a tremendous asset to the shooting community. I hope my experiences reflect glitches and not the usual pattern.
These guys have a good facility, good staff, and are reasonably priced. Been there twice. First I took my kids for basic pistol instruction. While I could tell the range officer kept a close eye on us, he also realized we were following safe procedures and let my kids learn. A great balance of safety and professionalism. I was there again for some range time and in came a group that had never shot before. I was concerned about them shooting right next to me but the staff coached them through one round of shooting and convinced them to switch to .22 afterward - safe and fun for everyone. Brilliant!
Hands down, I had an excellent customer experience when I purchased my first rifle from Everything Weapons. Great selection of pistols/rifles for the small size of the store, the staff are full of knowledge about their products, and most importantly, they provide excellent customer service. The owner and another staff member, Steve, really took the time to answer all of my questions before I moved forward with my purchase. I never felt pressured to make a decision, they patiently explained the discrepancies between the guns I was considering, and were very precise in their product information. After I made my firearm and accessories purchases, another guy even took the time to outfit all of my attachments onto my weapon, tailored to my personal taste. I definitely will be shopping at Everything Weapons for my firearm needs in the future.Ive seen several comments about their prices. Granted, their actual weapons are priced almost on par with online retailers, some of their accessories/ammunition are priced 10-15% or so higher. What do you expect though? These folks have a storefront to maintain, payroll to take care of their employees, and lights to keep on. I dont mind paying $20 for a box of ammunition when I can pick it up right in the store rather than pay $18 and wait for a product to ship to me, and have the uncertainty of ordering through a 3rd party I will never meet. Support local, folks; This establishment is the real deal!
My son and I recently purchased a firearm at Everything Weapons. We thoroughly enjoyed the process of dealing with the sales representative and staff at Everything Weapons. They were all helpful and patient as we made three trips to see the options available to us and at what cost. We will be back for more soon!
Pros:Pretty average gun store prices and a good selection of basic guns and gear. Some of the staff is greatConvenient locationCons:The owner was rude on a couple of occasions and I have heard the same from others. He showed annoyance that I would only buy a holster and was reluctant to answer my questions. There is no return policy in place.I understand that it is hard to make money if everyone is buying their guns and gear online but bad service will lose repeat business. I will not be returning to this store.
The range location and the facilities at 390 Southwards Drive has been in decline for two years. I have serious concerns regarding the air quality inside too so enter at your own risk. An indoor range requires a source of fresh outside air circulating to move the gases from fired ammunition away from the shooting bench. The air should also be filter to help reduce lead and other toxins too. The last few times Ive been there was no air at all. Im not talking just A/C Im talking air circulation period. The staff is rude and dismissive as if youre bothering them while they talk guns between themselves. I know the staff has completely turned over several time to possible improve customer service but its getting worse. I seriously question their experience with firearms and firearms safety too. When Ive asked regarding their credentials, they claim training is outsource exclusively. So if you do go and you need any help good luck finding anyone to help.
Overall, friendly, helpful staff. Range messy with lots of brass left on the floor. When customers doesnt show courtesy and clean up after themselves, staff doesnt really do anything. Could stand to run some more sales too. Id end up spending more money with them if they did....
While it is a relatively small store compared to some of their competition, it is the staff members here who make this place special. Always willing to help and more interested in filling your needs than just making a sale. Dont be afraid to ask any questions or inquire about making a special order if its something they dont have in stock.
David, Hunter, and the team have been most helpful as Ive built my collection. Price, service, and selection are hard to beat in this area. Give them a try!!
Bunch of awesome guys who know their stuff and are willing to give personal anecdotes to assist you in the purchase, use, and maintenance of your firearm. Make it a goal to meet the entire staff, youll be impressed! Thanks for your service and all you do for the customer!
Today has got to be Hands Down the best experience Ive ever had at a gun shop. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you havent been to a gun shop the previous sentence wont mean much. However, If you have been to some of the other shops in the area you will know exactly what I mean. Everything I was wanting was in stock and priced very competitively, or better than area competitors. If you go elsewhere youre going to the wrong place.
Great selection and if they dont have what you need they will get it quickly. Prices are always competitive. The management and staff are friendly and helpful.
Sorry for the low rating. Its a very nice store but you have a small problem. I stopped at your store to buy a 22 cal. semi-auto or revolver. You had both. However, in handling the weapons, your sales staff were very quick to dry fire both and spin the cylinder on the revolver and snap it into place. When I suggested these were both harmful practices he suggested I was wrong and proceeded to demonstrate. I purchased my new gun at your closest competitor down the road. I would not want to buy a gun that was potentially damaged by a salesman who didnt care or know better. You should instruct them on the care of rim fire weapons and the care in general of guns they dont own and are trying to sell.
My husband and I visited this facility last weekend. We were not impressed. Once we paid, there was absolutely no instruction on what to do, where to get our targets, where to go, etc. My husband ended up asking for help and then, once inside the shooting area, there were no employees offering advice or safety instructions and honestly, it was a little scary.Ive been to other firing ranges and this one is definitely not professional and honestly didnt feel safe. We hope theyll change some of their policies and advertise it as such and then we may come back for a visit. Otherwise, well not be back.
Real nice folks to do business with. Great selection of products. Professional and courteous service. Excellent gun range.
The owner is a great guy, Ive been visiting this shop on and off for the past few years. When I traded in a couple of guns, he gave me more than he had to. Their newer employee was a pleasure to converse with as he knows a lot of current gun industry stuff. Granted Ive been treated as an idiot here by some older associate because I was unfamiliar with certain gun laws, but his attitude does not reflect the shop in my opinion. Great local shop. Always has my business!
Absolutely the BEST gun shop in TN>> Check these guys out. Ive bought several weapons from them, ALWAYS a Great deal. My favorite, a Gen IV Glock 23!!! Awesome!!
This place is one of the worst business Ive ever dealt with. I tried to give them a second chance on Friday at 5 in the afternoon. The door was unlocked but the iron bars were closed but not locked. When I opened the door nobody said anything or seemed to pay attention. According to the posted hours on the door they were opened. Who in there right mind would leaves a gun store unattended. So turned around and left. It seems to get worse every time I go in this place. The last time my wife and I visited the location we were followed around and stared at like we were trying to steal something. I honestly have no idea how they have positive reviews unless the owners friends write them or he buys positive reviews. The service is horrible the prices arent that great, and theyve been known to drive down. To academy sports to buy ammunition and then jack up the price in there store.
Plenty of great things to say about not only the store on Moores but the range in Franklin. Everyone Ive had experience with in both locations has been tremendous.Initial visit to help compare handguns left a strong impression. Dana gave me not only time, but great input and opinions on options.Range is clean, friendly, great for experienced shooters and not intimidating for someone who maybe a new shooter.Ive purchased ammo, gear and most recently Steven helped me on another handgun purchase.I will keep coming back!
Great service. Knowledgeable, professional and always willing to help. Excellent local company that will do all they can to earn your business.
Great place great deals. If you buy your parts there and dont know how to install them they will help you for free.
Good prices, nice indoor range, lots of gun experience. Plus I only live a stones throw away from the Store in Franklin. Love this place!
Nice indoor range, very convenient to Franklin. Ventilation seems good, the smell stays pretty low even with a lot of shooters on range. Staff very helpful advising on differnt guns.
Good folks with decent prices. Excellent ammo selection. Will shop again.
Helpful friendly staff, nice selection of pistols, plenty of ammo. The range is well lit and easy to use. They cater to new shooters and old pros alike!
One of my favorite gun stores. Good prices, very friendly, quick checkout. I bought my Glock19 and my AK47 C39v2 there. I always recommend them to others and will continue to do business with them in the future.
I read reviews before I went there and was fairly apprehensive. It is a busy time of year so I felt like I would be unhappy with the place. Honestly I have found the facility to be clean, and the staff courteous. I have not been to the Brentwood location, but the guys in Franklin are cool as can be. Fun place to shoot.
The best of the best! Always very happy! I love buying guns from these guys! Very nice and profesional!
Great experience purchasing a gun. Took my wife to their range first, and tried a few different weapons then went to their main retail store in Brentwood to purchase. Great customer support at both locations. Would recommend them to anyone.
I could not possibly be more satisfied with my experience. I went in to the store considering purchasing a rifle. I had done a great deal of research and actually had almost decided to purchase on line. When it came time to select a store for the FFL, Everything Weapons came up and I decided to see what they had to offer. Steve greeted me the moment I walked into the store and began showing me different AR platform options. His knowlege far surpassed my research and before long I knew that keeping the business here in middle TN was the right thing to do. They earned it and have earned my business moving forward.I have read all the reviews and I realize that everyone has their own experience, some better than others. I sincerely believe that this staff is interested in providing the buyer with the best information in order to make an informed decision. This is a great group and I could not possibly give them higher marks.
Good, Honest People, who will help you. They believe that the only stupid question is the one you dont ask, which helps a beginner know the right answer .vs. what the movies show!!!
Ive been buying guns from this group for a couple years now. I have no law enforcement or military experience but they meet me with my limited knowledge and get me where I want to be. To many times that guy at the gun store is more interested in showing you how much he knows than anything else. That guy doesnt work there. I appreciate that. I will be back. Much to my wifes dismay. Sorry Honey!
Friendly staff and great selection given the small space. Was very happy with my special order, both the price and the service.
Great gun shop good selection if guns and holsters & Good prices. Had to wait a min to get a freed up salesman but worth the wait.
Bought a Significant a couple months back. Had the friendliest and nicest experience ever!! These guys are knowledgeable, helpful, and the friendliest !!
Wonderful gun store with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Excellent variety to choose from as well as a fairly wide array of accessories to browse. The only downside (and it isnt the fault of EW - all gunshops are like this) is there isnt really a selection for lefty holsters of any kind here. However, upon inquiry I was told honestly and up front - if I wanted *any* kind of left-handed holster, expect to pay about $30 more, but they could get whatever I wanted in.Great service, friendly staff and a clean, well lighted store makes even first time gun buyers feel safe and welcome.
Indoor Range is good for a 25 yarder. Very competitive gun prices (especially for Midfle TN). Customer service is great! Highly recommend!
They have a great selection of guns, and the price is less than FGS.... but the prices are still a bit high. The staff is knowledgeable.
Yesterday 8/14/16 was one of my most fun-filled days I have had in a long time when I took my 25 yr old grandson to the indoor range of Everything Weapons. Mike had never ever fired a handgun in his life, even after graduating from a very prestigious military school in South Carolina, The Citadel. We arrived a bit early at the Franklin range and there was a line of folks line up waiting to get in, after the doors open, I found why it is important to have an annual membership, we were ushered near the front of the line, processed quickly, assinged a lane and begin to shoot. After a little coaching, grip, sight, trigger pull my grandson shot lights out 3 different pistols .45ACP, .38special & .380 mouse gun. My thanks to all the management of Everything Weapons for having a place for us town folks who dont have access to property in Williamson County for providing a place where we can pass our shooting skills on the emerging generation .
Knowledgable and friendly staff. Very thorough and efficient - you get in and out with the product you were looking for.
Excellent customer service!! Very nice selection!! I love this place^^
Very rude and unprofessional. I do not recommend this place. The R.S.O thought I was leaving my lane without picking up the brass and before I even walked away from my lane he said Thanks for picking up the brass, thats not gonna help us much but thanks in a very rude way. They have ONE hockey stick for sweeping!
These guys have always been very helpful and they have fair prices. Just ask questions to make sure you are getting what is right for you.
Friendly staff and nice range. Will enjoying shooting there again.
Small gun shop with very little inventory. Horribly overpriced on ammo. Didnt even look at anything else after seeing ammo doubled in price. Over heard bad talking of larger successful gun stores in area. Will never visit again.
Outstanding operation. The staff is friendly, focused, and they bring expertise from backgrounds in gun smithing, sport shooting, hunting, law-enforcement and military service.
These are a great bunch of people they do not intimidate you and are very professional and knowledgeable both in the retail store and the range
Rude and unprofessional! My husband was realing in our target to swap out and the line fell. I went up front to tell Chris behind the counter and moments later he comes to the back. Chris does not ask any questions just says your done and does a slashing motion with his hand at his throat. My husband I look at each other baffled and had no idea what set him off. We follow him up front and ask what that was about. He said I changed that line out yesterday and I have to many people in line to give you another lane, your done! I tell him we havent even been here an hour and that I dont appreciate his attitude. We packed our 4 guns, ammo, and went home. Afterward we were still pissed about the sitaution and felt the need to notify the owner of his employees behavior. The owners attitude was just as bad and continued to make excuses for his employee. We even let him know 2 of our guns and all of our ammo had been bought there in the past. He changed his attitude a little and said he would like to make it right with us and not lose our business. We will never go back there and will tell everyone we know who likes to target practice where NOT to go.
Good gun store, but it will be closing at the end of June 2017.
Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Even if you arent making a purchase they are just generally nice people
Great weapons store! Open on Sundays! Very friendly staff, Glock stocking dealer. Aftermarket Glock accessories and plenty of ammo!
I have purchased bolt action rifles, carbines, semi-auto pistols, revolvers, and shotguns from these guys. Purchased tons of ammo, accessories, and done trade ins and have been completely satisfied with their friendly service and timeliness on orders.
Great store / knowledgable staff / great selection / one stop shopping
Always have a good time at Everything Weapons, knowledgeable staff and a nice range.
Great customer service and very knowledgeable about everything Wepons💯
Very Nice gun shop, reasonable prices, great selection
Best place to take a poop. Worst place to buy a firearm or anything firearm related.
Awesome range, the staff is very friendly & helpful. The range is 1hr away from me & still the only range/store ill go to.
I wish it was possible to leave zero stars. Today, Everything Weapons has lost both my and my families business for good. I have shopped at Everything Weapons since I moved to the Franklin area nearly 2 years ago and I have always had a great experience with them. However there is not one single employee that has been there for over a month. Every staff member is new, and they are AWFUL.I used to love going in there. (I am a competitive shooter and have been in the Army and then the defense industry since I was 19) so I can talk guns and shoot all day long. And I used to have a great time with the previous staff. But the employees now have a gun shop commando mentality, like they know better than everyone, and make you feel absolutely stupid for asking a question. All of that can be overlooked but todays event was the straw that broke the camels back. My father was in town visiting and I wanted to take him shooting. I reluctantly took him to Everything Weapons (I have recently had less than great experiences there before but never felt it warranted a review), and I figured I would give them another chance. My father and I used a Groupon and with the Groupon it included gun rentals. We were told first that we needed to leave an ID for each gun that we wanted to rent.Fair enough. I left my drivers license and military ID. My father and I went to go shoot and when we came back to trade one of the guns in I was told that they only needed one ID, and that they would only take Drivers Licenses, and that State issued IDs, military IDs, Weapons Permits would not work (which is strange for several reasons, but whatever). We were told that the policy had changed a week earlier and they would only rent out one gun at a time. When we went back into the range to go get the second gun that we rented, we found that it was missing. I freaked out, I looked through all of my range gear and panicked thinking that I had lost the ranges gun. When I walked out I asked the manager if he had taken the gun. To which he replied yes, we dont rent out guns to irresponsible people who leave our guns unattended.WHAT THE HECK!!!I came in to trade one rental for another and in that time the manager felt that I was leaving his guns unattended. Are you kidding me.This is the kind of staff that Everything Weapons is hiring now. No wonder they cant keep an employee for more than a month.EVERY SINGLE employee that was there, the employees that everyone enjoyed talking to, and doing business with has left and for good reason.I am a 28 year old US Army combat veteran, I have been a department of defense certified instructor for over 5 years and I have taught literally thousands of military personnel both advanced marksmanship as well as firearms fundamentals in which safety is paramount. I have never been called irresponsible with firearms, and I am pretty pissed off that this kid who called himself the manager would have the audacity to call me irresponsible when I have had more responsibilities places on my shoulders than some people twice my age.Everything weapons has become a joke. Their prices have increased, and their ammo is marked up nearly 40%. I would not recommend a friend or family member to go there even if they were the last gun store in town.Look at the dates for the reviews. Anything that even resembles a good review is quite old. This place has recently taken a big dive as far as customer service and overall satisfaction are concerned.
Great Gun Shop, excellent customer service!

Update at the bottom:Brought a top of the line Mega Arms AR15 pistol build in (have over $2k in it) to find a rail to fit the Adams Arms XLP piston system over the 8.1 inch FN cold hammer forged double chrome lined barrel and Noveske KX5 Flaming Pig. I asked a guy to test fit a Samson rail (because Adams Arms lists a few on their site that work with the XLP) to make sure it fit before I bought it. He went in the back and looked like he was testing fit and after like 30 minutes of working on it, he told me it fit and I was good to go, so I bought it. I got home and wasted no time trying to install it as this was the last part I needed to get the gun finished, but it did not fit. I looked up the PN# online and found out it was a frickin quad rail for a AR10 .308 aka 7.62x51, not a AR15 5.56x45 quad rail. This guy lied to me and told me it fit when it was obvious he never got it to work (impossible, since AR10s are larger). That said, Im giving them 1 star for lying that the rail worked, selling me the wrong part and having to drive back up there which is like 45 minutes from my house to get it exchanged for another or refund if they dont have a rail that fits. So I made it back up there and the owner was very nice about it and apologized. He showed me some rails he had in stock, but I decided to order another through Everything Weapons that I knew fit. So he placed the order for me and almost 2-weeks later, I had not received a call. So I decided to give them a ring to see if the rail was in and the guy who answered the phone told me it came in the day before. It was 15 or so minutes before they close and I live 45 minutes away, so my rail had to sit another day. Wish theyd given me a call. But no big deal as this is a very busy time of year. Soon as I get down there, I will make a final report and adjust the stars for how this overall experience went after them correcting the issue.I returned to pick up my new quad rail and the owner had it waiting for me by the cash register. He told me to open it up and make sure it was correct before I left, and I did. Part number and rail matched what I ordered. He told me were all done now. Im not going to charge you anything for the difference in cost. I must say, I am pleased with his customer service for making this right. It wasnt his mistake to begin with, it was his employee, so Im not holding this against his establishment. He made right what his employee got wrong, so Im upgrading my rating to 5 starts because at the end of the day, the owner treated me right and I got what I needed. Shop with confidence that even if a mistake is made, they will make it right and get you on your way! :)
Fun little gun store, but really busy on the weekends. Same as the gun range on Westwind.
Went in to this establishment with my friend from out of town and heard one of the staff say if you are not born here you might as well not buy anything and that was my cue to leave. I couldnt get any help from anyone. Bummer people are still racist in 2016.
Great store, well stocked seem to be expanding. Has range at the other location in Franklin as well
Had an excellent customer service experience picking out some new holsters for my girlfriend and I. Good small feel shop with very good selection.
Great selection and great people. They have a customer for life here.
The owner (David Cooper) does BAD buisness.I will never go back.Go to Specialty Arms 2 in Lavergne, actually, go anywhere else.I will never go back to Everything Weapons in Brentwood.
Great service and selection...
Franklin Gun Shop is much better
Staff is very friendly. Prices are very hard to beat.
Very professional and great company!
Horrible I will never do business there again. Employees are rude and very much ignorant
Very pushy staff sky high prices and poor selection.
Great values, nice people
Do you have to be a certain age to come in and check things out?
Amazing Experience!!
