I found something blue in my sausage after opening it. I emailed them with all the information and never heard back. We cut a chunk out and cooked the rest. It was good tasting sausage. I called just now and got a fax tone??

I love stopping in at Burtons Meat Market. Each time I went to visit my Uncle in Round Top, going home I would stop and buy one to two pounds of garlic sausage. Used to be my favorite Texas sausage and I can give you a TX tour of meat markets that make great sausage. Burtons has done the same thing Chappel Hill, Meyers and others have done, been successful, changed to mass production and over processing and lost the meat market texture and taste. We knew each other for at least 20 years, goodbye old friend.

BSC has the best sausage in Central Texas.And if you are going to drive by there, me hungry and grab a couple of $1 sausage wraps in bread. It is either a hot or mild pork beef combo sausage link, yum yum.! :-)

Every time we pass by, we stop and get a $1 sausage wrap with mustard. Great deal, and sooo good!!! Ribs and more were being barbecued out front smelled great!

Great smoked ribs on friday and Saturday. as have sausage raps for a dollar.

Used to buy your original recipe sausage at Wal-Mart weekly. And it used to be better than V and V sausage. But all the batches coming in for the last 4 months have been super light in color. The sausage does not even look smoked. All 3 packs coming into Wal-Mart are white and pasty. There are alot more bones in the mix. And the smoke flavor is really light. Your decision to no longer make the sausage reddish in color, and having a longer smoke time, has made the product bad. Its 1 level above Ekrich now, and they put bird meat in theres. Reduce the bones going into the meat, and trim it, alot better, and go back to the longer smoke time. Doing this would greatly improve the sausage to the way it used to be made. But according to other reviewers on here, your company ignores Google reviews. And you should take immediate action, if you want to continue with sausage making in the future. Wal-Mart will STOP, BUYING FROM YOU AND TERMINATE THE DEAL. DO THE RIGHT THING. FIX THE SAUSAGE. CURRENTLY ITS DREADFUL. TO BAD I WOULDVE GIVEN IT 5 STARS, HAD IT BEEN MADE TO ORIGINAL STANDARDS. ......FIX IT.

I love Burton Sausage however I brought some for Memorial Day and was very disappointed. It was smoked ones and they reminded me of eckrich sausage in whick i truly dislike> What happen did you guys change something. Now I am scared to buy Burton. My best friend feels the same way. What happen.....

Tried their smoke sausage for the first time. I would rate it from good to excellent.

The last two packs of their sausage I have gotten(three weeks apart) have both been slimy and spoiled. All of my attempts to contact the company have been ignored and Ive been trying for the past couple of weeks. Will not be buying again. Its like having over a cup of dog drool in my pack of sausage.
