In store they were great and we felt confident in the purchase of a queen bed set and adjustable base.However, delivery was disorganized and unprofessional. The boxes/ adjustable base and frame were delivered first with no mattress. Wait time for the mattress was a week. The mattress came and the drivers did not assemble even though we paid for assembly (or their white glove treatment as they call it). Having paid extra for assembly we have to wait another week before its assembled?A supervisor call back doesnt happen for 24-48hrs. The bed is lovely but I dont believe Ill purchase from bobs again.

Very nice at the store and tell you if you dont like it you can return and get your money back, Bobs wants his clients to be happy... Bla Bla Bla... they delivered my sofas and did not let me check them to see if anything was wrong, they dropped it and run, one of my sofa was broken and I called the store to ask for a replacement, they said yes, you will get it next year February! then I said I paid for two sofas, I want a replacement this year or my money back, Bobs furniture said, No MONEY BACK, only store credit!. so Im stocked with a broken sofa like it or not. The sales person, David and his manager told me that I could get my money back if I did not like the sofas. Now they said only store credit! People dont believe what they tell you. better yet, Dont buy there!!

We have lived in Brea for over 42 years now, and this was our first time visiting your store.We were greeted by a friendly staff member named Faye, and she assisted us with the purchase of 2 new sofas.The assistance we received fromyour staff was warm and friendly. We had several people ask us if we needed help. We were impressed with the sales staff that was willing to help us out.We were in your store for less and 30 minutes and were very satisfied with the quick process of making our purchase.We were surprised to find that you did not offer a disposable of our old sofas however, the manager explained that the delivery service was only for the new merchandise and not for haul away.We found that Brea has a Free haul away of heavy items and can be reached online. This might be good information for your customers who are in need of discarding old items.Thank you for moving your company to Brea. When theres a problem do not deal with the Customer Care rep but deal with the stores helpful manager Ed and his staff. He was able to find a solution to our problem when nothing else worked and when we were extremely frustrated, and his staff were supportive and understanding.

Read reviews before shopping here! I purchased a living room set on 2/16/21 and it still hasn’t arrived. The date of arrival keeps getting pushed back. The side tables are the only thing that was shipped in and when we opened them they gave us the wrong center table and now the price is way higher than what we paid and they want to charge us more to get the correct item. This is BS. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing experience from beginning to end! Donna Givens was our Sales Associate and she provided stellar service! She was genuine, knowledgeable and truly made my decision to purchase the mattress there a no Brainer. My daughter and I were on our way to Ashley Furniture and your store caught my eye as we drove by and I remembered your commercials, so we decided to stop and check it out. Glad we did! Donna and everyone we came in contact with there exceeded my expectations, shopping for mattresses is not easy and you can get overwhelmed, but Donna helped in a big way and Bobs warranty and no haggle model made my decision easy. We bought a nice pillow top plush firm queen mattress, 6 Bobs My Pillow (highly recommend) and a Mattress Protection Cover. All within the budget I had in mind...actually got more than I expected! Thank you Donna and staff...We will be back!

I would not shop here if it was the last furniture store on earth! They are liars ! I placed an order for 4 items. The lady Donna said I would get free shipping. Fast forward to today. I check my balance and it’s almost $700 dollars. The only thing I received so far was a $200 chair with the goof proof. They’re crazy! I canceled the rest of my order and I recommend everyone do the same! If you look at the reviews online they’re bad! I wish I read the reviews before coming here. They don’t even deserve 1 star !I never even got my refund back. Definitely scammers at this point!

Faye was awesome: patient (we took forever to test couches and recliners) and helpful. Great inventory and affordable prices. Only negative (due to COVID) was that many of our favorites were out of stock (available in a couple of months.)

Poor poor service. The person who attended me was fantastic liked his service and others who work there as well. I placed my order back in mid November for a 5 door drawer for my room fast forward to today 🙃 when I placed the order they told me that it would arrive late Dec. Or around Jan. But instead what do I get?? 24 of Feb. And they said its gonna continue to be pushed until well there is nothing more for them to restock or something to that regard (saying from what I understood) just decided to cancel my order and take my business elsewhere.

This place is a must if you are in search for new furniture. They have beautiful furniture for decent prices. We just purchased 2 couches and RICHARD was our sales associate. We just left this store, after searching for an Ottoman to compliment our Calvin couch and after a long day of family hikes and outdoors we really just wanted to get the ottoman and go home and that’s exactly what we did! We had went to the Baldwin Park store first, I called and over the phone they had said they had it but once we got there, that wasn’t the case. They called around and found Brea had it, so we had the chance to see it and make our purchase. Marsha helped us and she was so great, to the point, kind, professional and she got us out quickly! Very happy with the service and efficiency of the staff!

We are so greatly appreciative for your amazing customer service, your ability to make us feel comfortable and not pressured. We invested in a great bedroom set, livingroom set, carpet, and a really neat find for our tv which we are using as a stand. We were taken care of the moment we walked in and were checked in on in a respectful non overbearing way. Horrible customer service!!!! Yes, they have great deals on furniture, but its not worth the price of dealing with their management. I ordered a cal king bed (as well as thousands of dollars worth of other furniture to furnish a new house) and they delivered a king bed. After I got it unpacked and realized their mistake, they admitted their mistake but refused to take it back/correct it. Debbie the manager was so rude and unhelpful. Wound up going to Ashley furniture and what a difference helpful/kind people make!

Couch was back ordered and they did not call to tell us it’s ready to pick up. Been there for days. Automated phone service sucks. Only way to talk to someone on the phone is pretend to want to place a new order. I guess once you’ve paid they don’t care about you anymore! Poor Customer service. Will go to Jeromes next time.

Our order was pushed aside because we didnt pay the outrageous delivery fee. Dont trust them, dont believe them. They do not honor their word and are horrible at communicating. We waited over 2 weeks for the furniture only to be told it wont arrive to their location for pick up for another week. They didnt tell us, we had to call them. No communication, no transparency, and they blamed the vendor. Thats not our problem, its Bobs Furniture, but refuse to accept responsibility. We understand things happen, but its how they handled it that counts here, and why I am writing this review. We will NEVER do business with Bobs Furniture again! Go the LIVING SPACES instead, much better experience!

If I were able to give no stars I would. I bought only a storage bed and they delayed only a single part of it over 3 times. They tried to give me only want they had instead of giving me all the parts together as all furniture stores should. It’s been over 3 weeks of the actual due date they originally gave me and I still can’t receive the final part to my bed!! How do they expect me to make a bed with a missing part?! This is not professional and they are unreliable. I will be asking for my money back.

I just purchased a a sofa and love seat from bobs. My sales person was great thank you ricky. He was attentive, did pressure us, and really took the time to make a connection with us. He explained everything, although we were gonna pay cash he offered bobs financing wich helped us tremendously. I would definently refer my friends and family to ricky and bobs.

The worst experience for delivery I have ever had, I was told something by the sales person John A and it was opposite of what the delivery person did. The delivery person informed me that bob furniture has these problems all the time because the sales team lies to customers. It was just a queen mattress to be delivered and “white glove”. The manager Steven or whatever his name is told me he could do nothing to compensate me for this “miscommunication”. Its so sad that $89 is the difference between keeping a customer or losing one for life. Bob is gonna need to go back to Connecticut because California will not be taken for fools. It may not mean anything to them but my family and I will no never shop bobs furniture.

Beware!! This place is a absolute joke. This business does not deserve any stars. Crapy furniture is sold here. Our first and absolute last purchase at this store. I will never spend a penny here. We purchased the warranty and goof proof but even then the furniture is poor quality. We only had the bedroom set for less than 6 months and its been falling apart. Its a continue run around with customer care and the manager at the Brea location. Save yourself a trip and purchase elsewhere.

First time shopping at Bob’s. Was greeted by Fay as soon as we entered. She kindly explained how to read the pricing signs and then asked if we needed help finding anything. After she heard we wanted to look around Fay pointed out a few different areas of the store then left us to shop on our own. When we stopped at a sofa and were looking online Fay returned and offered to show show us the sofa in person. She was very helpful, patient and polite. Fay checked stock for us on a few sofas and suggested complementary pieces. Fay was very thorough and detailed with the pricing, delivery options and extended warranty. Check out was a breeze through a handheld tablet and she also provided a printed receipt. Very positive sales experience. Quick, easy, and smooth. Bobs had a good variety of very affordable furniture.

Bobs really has wonderful furniture at excellent low prices. We bought a sofa etc here because I think almost every sofa can be turned into a sleeper.l pull out bed option and that’s what we needed. The staff are very helpful, and there’s a snack corner to get ice cream or candy or water while you shop. Janet, my saleswoman was excellent and attentive but not overbearing. She was very knowledgeable and helpful, and I left happy with my purchase and shipping/pick up arrangements. Highly recommend!

After some research, we found the perfect kitchen island through Bob’s Discount Furniture online. Was nervous to make the purchase based solely on online stock photos so we called the 1-800 number listed. Had a great experience. Waited no time before Anthony, a local store manager, picked up and answered all our questions and more! He even face timed us so we could see the floor merchandise to ensure it worked for us! This place is a joke! Ordered furniture and was to have had it delivered this week. Made an adjustment to the type of delivery service was told making the change would not affect my current delivery date was told this by two other reps. The only difference between the delivery was they unpack the furniture and put it where it needs to go vs. just dropping it off at your front door. They still need to delivery it. Well they made the change and now I have to wait an additional 3 weeks on top of the month Ive already waited to get my furniture. The company is not willing to waive the delivery fee or help out in anyway. All I get is theres nothing we can do. The last rep i spoke to said that the reason my delivery date changed was absolutely because I made that delivery option changed even though they swore up and down that was not going to happen. So good luck to you if you are looking for a company that is going to be willing to help you when there is an issue. Spent close to $3000 for the furniture and am going to get my money back. Take your money and go to a more reputable company..... This is not a way to run a business especially when you are new to the area.

First of all, I love this companies commercials, which is what inspired me to stop by and check out their products. We were looking for a new bed for our son, and had actually stopped at a couple places before we ended up at Bob’s.This store was great! They have two levels to display their products, and the selection was large enough for us to find what we were looking for.John was our salesman, and he was awesome! He was informative, showed us all options, accessories and prices for different items, he wasn’t pushy and gave us time to make our decision. Once we decided what we wanted, the purchase and delivery set up went smoothly. We were able to get delivery for sooner than expected too. We received a call and text to confirm the delivery date and time a couple days before it was to be delivered. We also received texts the day of the delivery to let us know how far away the drivers were. The delivery team was very professional too. They came in and set up the furniture where and how we wanted it. They were in and out in about 20 minutes, fast and efficient! Great experience from beginning to end!

Terrible customer service!! Delivery men tried to make shady deals on the side. The store lied about delivery. They promised to take old couches out and new couches in, but in reality they don t do either. They only leave them in the driveway. I made the delivery men show me the couches and they were some funky version of what I saw in the store. I refused delivery and the delivery men spoke in Spanish with each other about leaving the couches and running. I canceled my transaction immediately on the credit card. I called managers at the store three times and they were rude and told me they offer no guarantees. Never ever do business with them.

Today was my first time visiting Bobs Furniture in Brea, CA. Upon entering the store I was pleasantly greeted by Maria, a sales representative. She asked how I was and how she could offer her assistance. Maria provided me with 5-star customer service. She is very knowledgeable about the store and if she didnt have the answer to my question, she right away found someone who had the answer. I ended up making a purchase and was extremely pleased with Marias professionalism and pleasantness. I highly recommend this location and its staff. Despite the name aside, this place is really nice to shop in. I came with my girlfriend to scope out coffee tables and dressers. The salespeople greeted us and checked in on us pretty regularly. They were eager to answer questions and make recommendations, but we never felt pressured one way or the other. We ended up with a dresser, and will probably go back for that coffee table.And yes, the prices are good.

I went into Bob’s Discount Furniture for my first time in search of a new bedroom dresser. I was instantly greeted by Rich and Janet. They were very knowledge and went above and beyond to show me every dresser and style they had, so I wasn’t rushed into making a impulse purchase. They were both very attentive but didn’t hover over me while I looked around. And compared to other furniture stores, I was so impressed by that and made me feel very comfortable while shopping. From the second I entered Bob’s discount store I was just satisfied. They layout of the store is beautiful, the sales associates were all well mannered, the manager even offered my daughter ice cream. All around good vibes. I can unequivocally state that Janet and Rich as well as the entire team at Bob’s treated me with the highest degree of excellence that I have ever experienced in my years of dealing with various furnishing stores. We ordered our new bedroom set over the phone since we are in quarantine at the moment. The process was actually super easy! We knew before calling in that we wanted to alter and add some stuff to the bedroom set we were looking at and Anthony took care of everything we wanted and more. I was immediately greeted by a kind salesman, Rich Odom, he made my shopping experience simple. I told him what I needed for 3 bedrooms to include couches and a bed frame. We went in for a new bedroom set. We requested to look at several we had seen in the mailer we received. They showed us each and everyone with immense patients. When we finally decided our guy figured out a special package for us as we had some needs that were not covered in the typical bedroom package. We thought we were going to have to come back in a couple weeks to be able to pay for it, but they informed us of the three month payment plan. Bobs furniture store in Brea is beautiful and the staff was nice. I bought a bunk bed and a couch. I was told the bunk bed would arrive September 23 and the couch October 3rd. They called me THE DAY I was supposed to get the bunk bed and said they didnt have it on the truck. But... they could send it in pieces and just wait for it all to come in. They said it was first come when I can to delivery even though I had already bought them 3 weeks before. My husband waited all day on the day October the 8th for the beds yet again, never came. This time with no call back for 2 days. It is now October 11th and we still have not received anything 2 months later. We are so disappointed my kids have been sleeping on a bed we made for them for this long and its so sad they cant figure this out. Also the sells lady seems to refuse to actually talk to me on the phone. I will never buy from them again.

From the moment I walked in it was a nice, relaxing experience. The first time I went in to browse “salt and pepper” John helped me out. He greeted my sister and I, explained how everything worked and was organized and gave us space to browse around. He, nor anyone else was overly pushy. I was impressed with Bobs Furniture and had the best experience. The furniture prices were reasonable and staff were amazing. What I loved about Bobs was that I was not hassled by annoying salesmen trying to sell me furniture. I walked in being able to look and choose what I wanted to purchase and then speak with a salesperson. Josh was my salesman who was very professional, friendly, and helpful with my selection; he helped me coordinate my colors and provided me with a variety of options for a payment plan without having to run my credit. I will definitely be back. I would recommend Bobs Furniture to anyone who is on a budget and who wants to add quality furniture to their home. If I could give a negative star review, I would. It started in July 2020. I purchased a leather recliner for my husbands birthday. On July 15th, his actual birthday, we picked up his chair and found a hole on one of the pieces that attached to the chair. Cannot even begin to go in to ALL the details because it infuriates me.My entire experience with Bob’s has been the worst experience I’ve had with any retailer and will NEVER shop or recommend Bob’s to anyone. Although Jon and Celine (a mgr) were nice and Anthony, (the manager) who made it seem like he really cared about resolving my issue, Not one of them has resolved my issue or fulfilled a promise to follow up. I’ve been patient and kind and they’ve mistaken my patience and understanding for something they are so wrong about.Once my problem that began on July 15, 2020 is resolved, I will be glad to be done with Bobs. My problem began at the Brea California location with lies and unresolved issues even after speaking to multiple managers, including Anthony, who said he was sorry to hear about my experience and it not being resolved. He went as far as to say he would follow up in Two weeks and paused to claim he put a calendar reminder In his phone while we spoke. I thanked him for his professionalism and made it clear although I was grateful, I expected my issue to be resolved. He failed to follow up in August and I was so done I didn’t even bother to call myself. Then a second failed product replacement where no on called to inform me or apologize that the product I purchased in July that had been expected October 17th was not going to arrive. I’m embarrassed for them. It’s disappointing. I had to call and now am being told my product to replace the defective one from July 15 won’t be available and pushed back to mid November. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I asked Celine for Anthony’s boss’ number and I was told Anthony would call me on Wednesday and he could give me the Number. Celine was supposed to call me back today after she spoke to customer service this morning and assured me she would... no call. Nothing. I thanked Celine and everyone I’ve spoken with for being kind and explained that action is overdue and this was unacceptable service. WORST SERVICE EVER. I’d like a call back from an executive that can resolve my issue TODAY! It’s funny how I cannot return my defective item (even with purchasing the warranty). I have held up my end of the deal and Bob’s has completely FAILED at doing their job and taking care of their customer.

Took my surrogate mom to buy a couch. Had a great experience with Robert our sales rep. We were able to look just about every model throught out the entire store. He was friendly and not too pushy as some sales do. He allowed us the space to look and see what was comfortable. It really came down to style and choosing between 2 selections. When it came to paying, the process was easy and everything was explained in detail. Now, we await the delivery and expect the same level of service. Thanks for great customer service and the manager, Debbie too.

We purchased some nice power recliners and power recliner sofa. Our sales lady was informative and knowledgeable. Then we wanted to buy some 5$ pillows from a cabinet that had a 5$ sign with no limit. Regular price was $14.99. Loretta the store manager happened to be in front of that cabinet. While we waited to pay we felt a bit uncomfortable how she talked down on our sales lady and it seemed to be her normal attitude just by other employees faces when it was happening. When we wanted to check out they wanted to bait and switch us on the price. Her attitude toward the situation was not cool and Ive had better results from Walmart management. I expressed my feelings and my wife hers. By that time my wife was fed up with this lady and my wife was willing to return her +2k purchase, Loretta then said she would sell them for 5$ like she was doing us a favor. I thank God for our blessings and not needing a discount but this was not right. We hope this was an isolated incident. I would suggest some management classes.

Ok first of all I had an amazing in store experience at the Brea location. Found a whole new living room set that I fell in love with and bought it. Due to covid I was told it was all back ordered which I understood. Part of it should be in in September and the rest October. I did receive partial delivery the end September. Now Im just waiting on one more end table, coffee table and entertainment center. I called today to find out about it and now are telling me the end of November. The most frustrating part is I am the one constantly tracking my stuff down. No one has called to let me know it will be another month or longer to get the rest of my stuff. I ordered all this is August. My fustration is very high right now. I understand the delays due to covid but dont promise something you cant deliver. And learn how to communicate with your clients. If I wasnt so in love with what I bought I would cancel my order but I have half of it already so now I need the rest of it wont match.

We have been looking for a couple power recliners to replace an old pair. We wanted something that would not only power up and down but also head adjustment and my wife wanted a lumbar support adjustment. Unknown to me is my wife was also looking for a couch to coordinate with the two chairs. We have looked at three other furniture stores so we knew what we were looking for and comparable pricesI was pleasantly surprised by the chairs available and by the prices which appear to be well within the range of comparable, if not a little less expensive. I also saw a good amount of quality and style choices. We were able to find both chairs, a couch with power recliner and neck adjustment and a rug for them to set on..I was happy with the prices. They offered no interest 12-month financing but I decided to use my own funds. We are in the process of painting the room and it will be a couple weeks before they are delivered and that will give us time to get everything ready.Our salesman was “Z” in the Brea, CA store. He gave us a good amount of info but also gave us plenty of time to look and test on our own. He explained the products well and gave us very options for delivery. I was very comfortable with his no pressure approach and listening to our needs.This was our first experience at Bobs but I would return again and definitely recommend to family and friends.

My wife and I had an excellent experience here. We did not feel pressured at all to buy anything. This is really important for our shopping experience because we are very contemplative people. For some humor, we’re also very indecisive. When we were ready, we asked for John, who met us at the front entrance at the beginning of our visit to the store. We asked if we could just roam around alone and take a look at the store first. John was very polite and said to take our time...as much as we needed. That was awesome. We went around and laid on almost every bed there was. Soon, we asked for John’s help, and he helped us break down the bed qualities, firmness levels, and pricing. In the end, it was John and his professionalism that made it such a great shopping experience. We bought our bed set here, feeling that we had the best deal in town. We will shop your next for a massage chair.

Nice furniture at a good price and helpful staff. 0% apr for 12 months Thanks Bob. Oh and my wife and kids really enjoyed the cafe too. That was 8 months ago. We had a good experience so we purchased a bedroom set for the kids and then the nightmares began. The dresser was damaged refused delivery. The bed broke twice exchanged it for a more “sturdy “ model it was delivered cracked and broken. Returned it. Now the paint on the dresser that we accepted is chipping and cracking. The sofa from the original purchase the arm rest snapped. To top it off the manufacturer warranty or the additional protection we purchased will not repair my items. Waiting for a manager to replace. Way to many problems. Never again Bob! Never again!

Bobs customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. 3 hours on hold. A defective part of a sofa was delivered.The other 2 pieces of the sofa were scheduled for the following week. I cancelled the entire order. Very inferior workmanship. I can get a Lazyboy for about the same cost which is what I am doing. Once the product is in the house you will not get a refund. I got a refund because I went into the store and demanded one, they did not want a scene. Now I am 3 weeks for the refund of my Goof Proof policy. Please save yourselve a lot of grief and dont buy from this company. I would give 0 stars but this site does not allow the 0.
