Our products (propane furnace and on demand water heater) are newly installed and great so far. We really like how responsive Dead River service providers are. We needed an installation follow up visit and the technicians came the next day, which was wonderful. We have also been impressed with the frequency of fuel delivery in the winter. We never worried about running low on fuel. Dead River Company was recommended to us by a family member and we absolutely would pass on that recommendation to others. Thank you, Dead River Company!

As a landlord, and homeowner, I have had extensive interactions with Dead River Brattleboro including complete system installations, service of existing systems and fuel delivery to myself and tenants. I have been universally impressed with the quality of their people and the incredibly high integrity of the organization. As an example, I recently signed a bid to replace two oil tanks for a total of $4800. When I actually received the bill, they had been able to get the job done for less and had passed that savings on to me, despite having a signed agreement. I really cant say enough good things about them.

I have recently switched to Dead River. They did some heating service for me, and it was done in a professional, timely, and costly manner!!!

We recently moved from Oregon to New Hampshire. I was clueless as to how to manage oil delivery, as our previous homes were natural gas. I called Dead River and they had very knowledgeable staff to answer all of my questions, along with several perks of being a new customer. I have been using their services for a month and a half, and am on auto-delivery.I never hear them arrive to fill our tank (which is impressive IMO) and when I did have an opportunity to speak to the delivery person, he was professional, courteous, and kind.I’ve had nothing but great experiences thus far. Highly recommend!

I too hate the name Dead River. Understand, it is a place, and hopefully these folks arent the ones who killed the river! That would be problematic! Aside from that, though, this company has been very reliable for us since taking over Fleming Oil. Emergency service has been A+ for us. One small hiccup in the automated scheduling of propane deliveries (we ran out) was quickly fixed and has not been repeated. Call us satisfied!

Your company does what it says it will do. Oil and propane are not pretty consumer entities. If you say you’ll be there, you show up. You put up with our barking dogs and never complain. Your billing is simple and efficient. The only issue I have with your company is the name DEAD RIVER. It could be RIVER BEND, or SINGING RIVER, or BLUE RIVER, and not project a negative image of a “dead” river.

I really think the quality of their service has fallen since they took over from Flemings. I cant believe they would abandon a 25 year customer on a Thanksgiving Weekend.
