Frank and Marty are absolutely wonderful. Always able to decipher what we want into excellent suggestions that often turn into longtime favorites. There is a great beer selection in the back as well.
Spectacular selection, and outstanding service! The owners have the most extensive knowledge of their product Ive ever encountered from a wine retailer. They also remember my preferences even though Ive only been in a handful of times, and usually at several month long intervals. Socks = knocked off!
This Mom & Pop wine shop offers a refined and global selection of wines. Frank and Marty are so friendly, and are always willing to guide shoppers through the process of finding what their looking for. Also (!) there are usually a few ticketed tasting events per month for connoisseurs and newbies alike. I highly recommend supporting this local business!
This is a cute wine store but not a winery. They had a free wine tasting but gave you about a sip to taste. They had a guy from Italy share his families winery history which was the best part but owner was talking loud to other patrons which was annoying. The owners were more interested in the people they knew instead of new customers. We would not return.
Really wonderful wine that you cant find anywhere else. There are many wines that are less than $15 that taste like $50. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the tasting events are a lot of fun.
Windham Wines is the place to go if you like wine and want to learn more about it. This little shop has an amazing inventory of wines, and many are natural, organic or biodynamic - and its thanks to them that we even understand what those terms mean! Without them we would be bumbling our way around the wine shelves at the grocery and/or state liquor stores without knowing what to look for, and unhappy with our selections - and they are competitively priced too. Their guided wine tastings are well worth the cost: the food pairings are terrific, the discounts are great, and we get to taste a variety of wines some of which would never be within our budget or imagination to try. Sign up for their newsletter - infrequently published, announces great bargains and tastings, educational too. Marty and Frank are genuine, friendly, knowledgeable folks whom it has become our pleasure to visit regularly.
Worth a journey. Fine wines reasonably priced. An exquisite shop.
Great selection of wines from every corner of the world, with an incredibly knowledgeable and kind staff.
The place to go for beer, wine and great service from Marty and Frank.
Zero is not an option. The owner, presuming not staff, was pompous. Instead of showing the options his store offered, he opted to stand at the front of the attempting to use his learned words and deny understanding the term triple blend wines. I ask 2-3 times if he carries a triple blend wine ( this term was provided to me by wine conisueurs everywhere but also is just common sense triple=three blends;easily Googled) and he just stood there arguing that he didnt understood that term. Too much money that he couldnt put away his pride to assist a possible customer or just pompous. Rather than a conisueur, he appeared to be covering up his ignorance of his business with words that hes picked up along the way. I would never recommend this business.Signed,Laughed my way out the door.
