I needed a one inch hole drilled through the front deck of my War Eagle Jon Boat so I could run wire for the Humminbird Helix 7 Fish Finder that I was installing. I did not have a one inch bit.First, I contacted the service department at Duncan Marine in Brandon. I explained that I was a local and what I needed. Duncan Marine told me they could get to it in about three weeks. I asked if they could make an exception, as it would only take two or three minutes at the most. They said, No.I did a Google search and McGee Machine Shop popped up. I called Mr. McGee and he told me to bring it on over right away. When I arrived, I immediately like his shop. He has all the toys (that I do not know how to use but love looking at). He got right to work and, in a very short time, I had just what I needed.I tried to pay him an extra ten dollars for seeing me right away but, he would not accept it, insisting to charge only what the job called for.Needless to say, Mr. McGee has earned my loyalty and is now my go to person for all machine shop work in the future.Give him a go - you will not be disappointed.
