NO STARS !!!Second Irrigation, Ray Arneson owner, has been working for our neighborhood for over 2 years on our irrigation system. He has not completed the job that we have paid him over $200K to do. He has charged repeatedly for the same jobs. He overcharges his hours for labor. He left holes dug up all over the neighborhood for months. He cannot diagnosis the electrical problems. He does repairs without prior approval. He violates our contract that we have with him. He is not doing inspections that we are paying $1K a month to do.Its been a very bad experience and has cost us thousands of dollars unnecessarily.STAY AWAY from Second Irrigation!!

Ray from Second Irrigation repaired my sprinkler system after a registered plumber replaced my main water line coming to the house where they did over a $1000 in damage. Ray is very professional and I would not hesitate to use him in the future.

2 years of broken sprinklers, front Yard patches of dry grass. Looked horrible. Called Ray and he fixed all the wiring mess. Very professional, timely communication, and very friendly.

My lawn was in horrible shape. Second Irrigation was able to find and address all the issues and my lawn quickly recovered. They ensured the lawn is adequately covered, adjusted my timer, and also replaced my rain sensor which was broken.

I would highly recommend this company to service sprinkler systems. They were very professional and very punctual. They knew exactly where the problem was and fixed it in a reasonable amount of time. Prices are very reasonable. Theyre the best!

Very hard working man. Its really hard to find good people to do honest work these days, but I found one at Second Irrigation and Lighting. Ray repaired my landscape lights, after meticulously searching out the problem. When he returned with new light fixtures, he evaluated and fixed my irrigation system. Great job Ray, thanks!

5+ STARS! Our original call was to die to irrigation concerns with an area of our yard that was constantly soggy. Ray did an overview of our irrigation system since it had not been used in about 2 years, at least. In addition to the leak, he found several other poor “DIY solutions” from the previous owner. With that being said, Ray repaired/replaced necessary parts to get our system up and running correctly. Knowing our issues, he did not push unnecessary repairs on us, but did discuss the future needs of the system. We are thankful to come across Second Irrigation and Mr. Ray. We will definitely trust him for future issues with our system.

Though I have an aversion to social media, I wanted to write this review so others can benefit from the excellent service provided by Ray and Second Irrigation and Lighting Services.Ray was recommended to me by the manufacturer (Coastal Lighting) to repair my specialty landscape lights. Several companies had no experience with the product, but Ray’s knowledge base and workmanship were extremely impressive. Not only did he troubleshoot and repair the issues with my existing lights, but he provided valuable insights into how I could improve my entire landscape design. The final product looks fantastic!Additionally, Ray is an expert in irrigation repairs and was also hired to repair my sprinkler system. Ray not only repaired the system, but meticulously restored my sod and landscape rocks while hiding every single wire from sight as if he was never here. Im s single mom who is pretty lost when it comes to things like my irrigation system. Ray and Second Irrigation was recommended by a neighbor/friend. Ray responded to my call very quickly and was able to make time for me the very next day. When he arrived he was so kind and polite and he spent so much time ensuring everything was in working order, that my wacky watering schedule was fixed (which would result in me saving a ton of money on my water bill) and that I understood how it worked. He also told me about a few things that would ultimately need to be replaced but knew I still had a few good months until I needed the repairs. I just cant say enough about how excellent Ray was! I will never turn to any other company when it comes to my irrigation and lighting needs! Its nice to know there are still amazing people out there you can really trust and count on!

Ray of Second Irrigation did a complete rework of our sprinkler system. All new heads, control box and even a remote control. Our lawn has not looked this good in a long time. He did a great job, found and fixed some issues from original system and he makes himself available if we have any questions. Highly recommend!

Ray Arenson is professional, knowledgeable, helpful and did a superb installation of landscape lighting on the front and side yards of my home. He came out to look at the property and see what I was interested in; offered suggestions and options and then came back and set up a demo of what he could do in my yard. He set up everything at the end of the day, so we could view it once it was dark and see if we wanted to make changes, etc. Then once we agreed on a plan, he ordered & installed the lighting within a few days. The difference in my yard is incredible. The neighbors walking & driving by let me know how wonderful it looks. I am so pleased! Ray was great to deal with and a refreshing change from some of the vendors Ive talked to about home projects. He takes you on as a permanent customer and will follow up and take care of your system as long as he is around. I am so happy I found SECond I & L. I will be having him do more lighting in my back yard, irrigation tweaks and mosquito control in the future.

After trying to get help with my old broken irrigation system, a friend referred me to Ray with SECond Irrigation and Lightning. I called Ray and he was able to work me into his schedule and was out a couple days later and on time. My old system had many problems, but Ray was able to do the repairs that was needed to get it back up and working.A few weeks later I had Ray to replace my old landscape lighting in the front of my house and around the pool. He did a fantastic job.The placing of the lights were perfect.Yes, I would recommend SECond Irrigation and Lightning Services.Great job!!

Ray was suggested to us by a friend when we were having trouble finding a sprinkler company to help us in a tight window (were getting sod put down in the very near future). Of the 15 companies we called, he was 1 of 3 that actually answered the phone, and he was able to come out 2 days later to assess our situation. He drove from Brandon to Seminole, which is probably around an hour drive to do the quote and came out the following Friday to do the work. He was on time, and did a phenomenal job. Do not hesitate to call and hire Ray to do your sprinkler work!

Extremely pleased with the service provided to me by Second Irrigation. Ray schedule an appointment as soon as he had one available and showed up a few minutes early, ready to work. He worked diligently to diagnose the problem on my older system and would not quit until it was solved completely. Even when a secondary problem arose as he was packing up to leave he didnt hesitate to jump in and take care of it immediately rather than coming back at a later date. Truly appreciative of Second Irrigations work and professionalism and would recommend their services to anyone.

We have needed to have our sprinklers updated, replaced, rezoned, the whole shabang. Ray from SECond Irrigation was amazing! Not only did he do all the above but he is a teacher at heart and explained everything to me before, during, and after he was done. My sprinklers work perfectly now and how and where they are placed makes sense. Ray was easy to work with and very professional. His prices were fair and his honesty and work ethic were appreciated. I am also excited to talk to him and most likely use his natural mosquito repellent service in addition to his sprinkler services because he was so great.

I had a sprinkler head go bad and it was wasting plenty of water. I recently had surgery nor did I really have the time to try to fix it. I contacted Ray at SECond Irrigation, he came out the next day and fixed it quick and wouldnt take payment.....it was on him. Ray seemed like a great guy and will surely have him back for my irrigation and lighting needs. Give them a try and doubt you will have a different opinion than mine.

I have utilized SECond Irrigation services for maintenance work as well as emergency irrigation service. I have worked with the owner directly. His knowledge/experience is evident. He explains everything thoroughly, is courteous/polite and shows up on time! As a single Mom on a budget I trust that he will never try to oversell a service that I don’t need, which is a big deal to me! AND as an extra bonus, my yard is now the greenest on the street!!!
